In case of a dodge downwards, meaning he would crutch she would have her foot ready to get him where it hurts. If he jumped, the air time alone would give her enough time to strike making her target vulnerable, afterwards if the target didn't die she would have to back off, take a few steps back and do some micro decisions making, she ran the same fight in her head a million times, different scenarios in her head and this was the option. Something like this would not happen again, she would keep everyone she cared about safe. From her enemies, from other people, from herself. Asuka would remain a shadow.
