Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Arami had somehow managed to wander into the Susukino district, more applicable he had managed to wander into the Black district where most of the weird things that are sold in the village are in fact actually sold. If you need a shrunken head for whatever reason you could buy it here, Want illegal items Yeah they sell them here too. “Dang how did I manage to get here” Arami grumbled a little bit as he looks at all the strange lit up signs up and down the road some with names he could read and other, were just undistinguishable

Ai held out a small crossbow, no longer than anyone's forearm. The bolt was pointed at one of the shady looking people with their illegal goods out on display in front of them. "Look I'm not here to cause trouble, it's just that I was paid to come get the pendant that you stole, that's all!"

"Look man I swear I don--"

"If you don't give it to me, I'm just gonna have to kill you and take it." warned Ai, the cheery smile on his face never ceasing. The look in the man's eyes was an obvious tell. He would start running at any time.

And off he went. A very loud an audible sigh could be heard coming from Ai's lips. His target pushed passed Arami with brutish force, the young shinobi was in his way.

Ai took a few steps in pursuit until he realized Arami was standing there. "Well, you are a shinobi right? Care to help me with this trouble maker?" he asked, before stepping past him and running after the man. The crossbow he was holding was put back into a holster on his right thigh.

"Ahh what a beautiful day!" claimed Ai as he finally walked out into the open streets. He took a deep breath and searched for his target. He was easily found in the crowd due to the erratic way he was moving. But the question was, was the young shinobi following, or did he take no interest?

Jin roamed around the streets of the Susukino District, who knew there would be a dark and dangerous place somewhere in the village of Kumo. His eyes shifted from left to right, a smile on his face as he happily skipped from corner to corner. Shady people had their eyes on him as he passed by them but his actions were definitely not in the right place at the right time, seemingly annoying the gloomy place of his oddly cheerful face and movements.

As he turned to last corner of the alley, he found himself in an open road where he somehow found a child roaming the district. Weird. What would a kid do in such a place, innocent or not, his curiosity peaked. He slowly walked towards the kid when he heard a commotion nearby, a man wielding a crossbow and a random merchant who is apparently begging - things does escalate quickly.

The merchant started to run down the road, pushing the little kid out of the way with such force. He tried to step in when the guy with the crossbow placed his weapon back to his holster and approached the little kid. He could see his mouth move, seemingly inviting the kid with him in the chase of the merchant. Why involve the child in his problem?

"You shouldn't really get kids involved in such a dangerous matters." Jin spoke out to the two, hoping to get their attention. "But if you're looking for help - I can certainly join the fun" He added, stretching his arms and fingers with a grim smile in his face.

With a smile on her face the young Hyuuga named Mirame decided to explore the Susukino District. Her father owned a little shop not far from where she was that sold a lot of antiques and artifacts. Normally she would stay in the vicinity of the main roads because her mother told her how dangerous the alleys and back roads could be, but today she decided to travel a little deeper into the Susukino District. Mira had found herself in the Black District. A lot of her dad's usuals had shops back in this area, but there was something odd about today. A man had just ran past her as if he was trying to escape something or someone. This piqued her curiosity. With her byakugan she was able to tell that the vendor didn't seem to out of the ordinary, but as she turned to see where he was coming from she could see two very distinct chakra sources and another that looked as if it had promise. She grinned from ear to ear, these were Shinobi and their target just ran by her. Mira smiled and stepped to the side of the street by a nearby food vendor. Without directly looking at the woman vending some kind of steak-on-a-stick the girl pulled out some yen and bought it and stuck it in her mouth while watching the Shinobi carefully.

Arami had been looking at some fancy, yet fairly suspicious items when someone ran past him and then another ran past him but this one stopped for a second to ask for help. “Huh? Help…..Ummm Sure” Arami said as he turned around. Recently Arami had managed to get even if just a little bit more, a stronger grip on his sand control powers. “Wait what did they do?” Arami asked interested in this person as another person appears nearby and tells the second person that they shouldn’t get kids involved in things like this “Ummm I honestly don’t mind” he said smiling a little bit as he holds out his hand and a blast of sand suddenly goes blasting around corners and down alleys. “Well that was fun Now wasn’t it” Arami said with a smiling smelling something quite delicious nearby when he notices the steak-on-a-stick stall. “Oh…This looks good” Arami said as he pulls out some of the little yen he had and buys one “This….Wont kill me will it? And it is actually steak right” Arami said inquisitively as a loud scream could be heard echoing through the alleyways this actually caused Arami to giggle a little bit as he was slightly sure that the screams were in fact a product of the sand chasing the guy down. “Well If its not dangerous…” Arami said as he took a tiny bite of the steak and chews it as he suddenly makes a gripping motion with his hand. “There You go!” He yelled hoping that the guy who had asked for his help could hear him.

Where have I gotten myself now? Hajime's head fell back and he let out a long sigh as he found himself lost in this village. Either he was given the wrong directions or his skill in reading a map was way below average. What was meant to be a simple trip to the market to buy snacks ended up being his first venture into the Susukino District which, while admittedly having a market and much more, was a bit confusing for the young boy. The road had what seemed to be an infinite amount of paths to travel on and despite living in this village his entire life, he felt like a common tourist. Through all the activity, the sound of a man hunting down a thief was what caught Hajime's attention. "I wonder what's going on over there," he whispered to himself, following the sound of the voices. Given the appearance of the somewhat darkened area he wandered into, he decided he should sit back and just watch, hoping to avoid bringing attention to himself. Maybe he'd end up getting an interesting show out of this.

The fresh faced ninja wanted to know just what the guy had done when another spoke up. Ai turned to look at Jinouga with a smile, but it was Arami who spoke again.

He declared that it was no trouble at all, channeling his elemental power towards the runaway with incredible precision. Ai's trained eye turned to find his target drop from sight, extending his smile wider.

"Thanks kid, you got some potential! My name is Shima Ai. If you ever wanna go on a mission together, just ask the big wigs, I'm sure they'd love to pair me up with you." he said before looking to Jinouga.

"Thank you for the offer." he said with a bow. "Same offer goes for you too~"

Ai then ran off, zigzagging through the people towards his destination where he once again took out his crossbow. "Shouldn't have run!" he said with a happy laugh, pointing the weapon at the man's head. From the ground, Ai appeared very tall.

"Please no!" he shouted. Then Ai pulled the trigger. Screams and shouts sprang up all around them, but Ai was busy foraging through the man's pockets. Once he found what he needed, he holstered his weapon and began to walk off once again, the chaos ensuing around him and the dead body he had left behind.

[legend="An immoral assassination"]
It would wind up being one of those days, a time where although everything seemed normal and bright there was still something seething beneath the surface. Prior to the events that unfolded within the bustling crowd within the district merchant zone, Ejji was passing some spare time engorging herself on a simple apple. Each bite seemed brought with it a sense of living to the teenager, something she tried to keep sacred especially with her destined career path. Chewing upon the apple's flesh for a few more moments she finally reached the core with nothing more to entertain her stomach. Effectively binning the leftovers in a nearby trash dumpster it was then that she was pushed against by a man who had ran into the streets, prompting a rather quick and understandable response from the girl. "Hey! Watch where you're running next time!!", was what she shouted after him before simmering down for a few seconds. Her collective head did not have the time to fully recover however before she took note of two other instances. She noticed quickly trails of sand, something that did not occur naturally within this area following the previous man's path and following behind that was another runner.

"What the---", was her initial statement but was quickly cut off as she pushed herself through the crowd following the events as simple curiosity overtook her mind. Apologizing to others as she pushed her way through the streets, avoiding where she could but still managing to bump into some on accident she would momentarily lose track of her targets till a sudden outburst of screams and shouts filled the area. Spurred by this, she quickly rushed forwards and once pushed through into an opening she was shocked by what she found. The male who had pushed after the other one was ransacking the laters corpse, whom had a bolt protruding from his skull.

While Ejji did not know what happened or the circumstances that came to pass which led up to it, she could not simply let things disperse as they were. While Ai had possibly assumed he could just walk away from the scene of such a brazen act, he would suddenly feel the blunt edge of an unsheathed blade pressed across his midsection. "You cannot simply think murdering a man in cold blood, in broad daylight while in such a congested area was a good idea. Why would you do something like this?", her voice was understandably angered but her actions also shown that she was hoping that this was a justifiable act.

Not simply the darker side of the human mind rearing it's ugly head.

As he tried to keep the kid away from the upcoming scene only to find him launching a wave of sand from his palm to the direction of the merchant. Talented yet stupid. In such a place to use such technique, if people were to see, he would have been drugged and probably smuggled away to be sold somewhere else, or perhaps this side of the village has changed since he last passed by. He quickly smiled as he faced towards the direction of the merchant, following after Ai as he caught sight of the merchant on the ground, apparently covered in sand. He stood there watching the scene to ha

Ai approached the man, laughing almost maniacally from his point of view before pointing the weapon at the merchant's head. He knew what was going to happen and as grim as it may be, human nature in truth is way darker than it should be. Peopled gathered around them, his guise slowly shattered as his illusion disappeared, revealing a serious face that contained irritation and anger at the same time. He turned to look at Ai who could simply make a scene and leave, as a shinobi he would understood he has the right to do so but personally seeing him rummage through his stuff and killing the man in cold blood for personal reason is something he wouldn't allow to pass, but seeing how people have gathered around them, he wishes not to make a much bigger scene, not in this place.

"I'll make sure this won't happen again." He snapped his fingers as he walked towards Ai, his previous offer seemingly gone from his mind. Another kid passed by, stopping Ai with a sheathed sword - another stupid one. This one might have seen the scene but such action would only leave her all the way to the hospital. Jin grabbed her sheathed sword, letting Ai leave the scene before smiling at the kid. He gestured towards the corpse, clapping afterward out of nowhere. "That was a good act! Now leave the drunkard alone." He yelled towards the crowd.

What was second ago was a bloody corpse but now, it was the same man but now it was happily drunk and asleep in the street, covered on his own vomit from head to toe. Not a sign of blood nor a fight. The crowd that had gathered slowly dispersed, who in the right mind would trouble themselves of what they saw before and seeing right now.

He started to walk away from the scene, such a gruesome scene in such a shitty part of the village, what else would he expect anyway?

Mirame watched as the commotion slowly evolved into something more dramatic. She took another bite out of her food with a raised eyebrow. With a sigh the young kunoichi slowly shifted her way through the crowd and away from what ever was happening. With a sigh the young girl walked back towards the Hospital to see if there was anyone fun over there.

[not something Mira would get tied up in, topic left.]

The blade against his belly halted his movement, his expression genuinely surprised as to why he would have been stopped.

Our Hero happened to be blocked by someone claiming that he killed in cold blood! This person was someone he did not know. Ai turned his head to look at the woman whose tone was rather stern, ready to speak on his own behalf.

However, the situation was quickly intervened by one of the shinobi he spoke with earlier. The young man stepped in and grabbed the woman's sword, opening up Ai's path to freedom, an escape to avoid any kind of questions.

"Why?" he wondered, would the unnamed individual try to get in between an uniformed shinobi and what appeared to be a murderer? This was the question that needed answering.

The scene shifted, violently in fact. Having taken part in the killing of the man, the illusion had difficulty replacing Ai's memory with the false one. "Genjutsu..." mumbled Ai, letting the false image take over his mind.

Just who was the man helping him avoid scrutiny?

Ai turned to look at the woman who had stopped him with a smile, sticking a hand into his pocket and 'mistakenly' dropping a piece of paper. On the paper was the contract Ai had been paid for. It would explain his actions.

With a nod to Jinouga, Ai once again kept walking.

There was a sudden in-balance to the weight on her blade which prompted her pupils to track to the side and lay their gaze upon Jinouga. Whether or not he was aware that her blade was unsheathed was not the question that first came to her head, it was why he chose to involve himself on the other side of this that was. She was about to address his actions when he suddenly began to act strange followed by her mind feeling slight buzz feeling that made her wince involuntarily. Upon recovering the scene which she had known as a reality before had been altered and the crowd which was formerly uttering screams and shrieks suddenly began to disperse with talks about a great magic trick. She however wasn't as jovial about the mass placement of a genjutsu in order to hide what had happened, yet at the same time she understood that doing so might have saved quite a few people from graphic memories. It truly didn't sit right in her stomach however there was a time and place to address this and proper channels to go about doing it.

Shifting her fingers quickly, her blade was returned slowly into it's sheath with the sound sparks emitting outwards as they were all leaving. She personally decided not to pursue the two at the moment simply because someone had to make sure the man whom had been executed was taken care of properly. Tightening her jawline she would radio in about an incident in the district and make note of the casualty, but did not mention the details which surrounded the aggressor in this situation. That was to come later when pieces to the puzzle had begun to fill itself in, something that would come with a starting clue that she noticed almost to late. Squatting down Ejji retrieved the piece of paper that had been either accidentally or intentionally dropped, unraveling the note and reading it carefully. "This isn't right....someone or something was giving these orders...it goes against the very laws of the land". Pocketing the note within her belt pouch, she waited for the medical team to relieve her of any obligation to the site and after answering some initial questions she would be free to leave.

"This has to be solved...", was what she muttered under her breath before her body lunged itself onto the edge of a nearby shops roof. She had to investigate this, but there was naturally channels that must be addressed prior to beginning. She was a law-abiding shinobi of the village, so it was only natural that she would want to ensure her prying into this event was sanctioned properly.

Arami looks around and stuffs another meat on a stick into his mouth before paying for a bunch more and scoops them up into his arms and looks around. “Huh where did everyone go?” he said as he would continue looking before walking off to the end of the roads. “Mmmm These are sooooo Good!” he said with a happy look on his face as a small stream of sand starts to zip back through the alleyways to catch up with Arami. “Oh there you are I wondered where you got off to” Arami said as he would rush out of the district Savoring the meat on a stick.
