Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Over the years, Kasen had learned to control many of her instinctive tendencies and find an inner peace with the workings of her mind, body, and soul. She no longer had an uncontrollable bloodlust at the first scent of blood, she no longer felt an unyielding rage form inside of her when Samebizu became upset, and most importantly she no longer felt compromised about living her daily life. However, there was one consistent factor in Kasen's life that never changed. Kasen loved the water, or more specifically, Kasen loved the ocean. She was drawn to it like a moth drawn to flame. It was her home, the place where she felt most one with herself and the world around her. Even now, she had lived in it for so long, it was impossible not to be drawn to the waters edge.

That is where Kasen stood today. She had woken up in her small beach-side abode and walked along the sands of the shoreline as the sun began to peek over the horizon. Its rays glistened and gleamed off the surface of the water as it lazily lapped at the shore. This was becoming a sort of ritual for her since having returned to her life. It was one of the most beautiful experiences she had and it became one she never became bored of seeing. As early morning came, and the sun rose into the sky, Kasen sat down and basked in the warmth of the sun. She rested her arms on the tops of her knees and then placed her chin on top of those. Time passed with little consequence to Kasen. Right now there was no other place she would rather be. It is refreshing that you have come to appreciate the beauty and power of the sea as I have. Samebizu, after her rampage of terror, had become a much more pleasant soul. It seemed she had simply needed to get it out of her system and see the truth for herself. Her physical body would never be manifested again, despite living on in this life, but she knew she was still respected for her power and her strength. This was Kasen's life and Kasen never disrespected the shark, nor dismissed the validity of her anger and desire for revenge. It had been unfair when the shark, whom had taken on a mothering presence for her, had assumed control in Kasen's weakest moment and forced her away from her home and loved ones, but in ways, it had allowed Kasen a much needed time of reflection, and she was stronger and more balanced with herself as a result. She thought back to a time within the last year as Same was starting to dwindle in her anger, but still latched on to the hope that she would return to her waters and reign over them.

The inside of Kasen's mind used to look different before Kaen came and freed her from the enslavement of the parasitic chakra eating plant. Before, her mind was a giant ocean that extended endlessly in both directions, a small diving cage made of iron bars was handing in the middle on a small chain. From what Kasen could see, the chain didn't have an end, she never could reach the surface. Kasen could almost always see the massive shark's shadow in the distance, just circling her as she had remained behind the bars of the cage. It was odd to think, as in reality, Kasen should have been the one on the outside of the caged bars, and not the shark that inhabited her body. But, Kasen could always leave the bars without the threat that Same would attack her. The shark never seemed to hold much hostility towards her personally, just those that aimed to cause her (and Kasen indirectly) harm, or her loved ones. Most notably though, Same held loathing in her heart and a endless desire for revenge. The bars were there for Kasen's protection, since the relationship had been forced on the both of them, but also was a constant reminder that despite the relationship they had, Same did not fully trust her, not would they ever be in a harmonic state when the threat of violence was always present.

Since Kaen freed her and Same from the plant, Kasen found that her mind felt more serene. It reminded her of home where her beach house was. It was an island, filled with a variety of tall trees, her favorite being the palm trees that wound every which way as they grew. The waters around the island were as clear as crystal. A large tree house made up a dwelling for her during her stay here and there were several wooden bridges and a couple piers to help her navigate the island. Kasen found it quite peaceful here. It was odd not having access to her body while the shark beast surely was causing havoc in the waters around the country. Kasen couldn't seem to reach Same. It was strange seeing her mind without being able to see the presence of the large shark. Kasen had even gone into the waters around the island and searched all corners for her. She had enough time to divest to it, to say the least. But it appeared that while Same had full control, she was not to be found. As Same began to lose faith in her goals, realizing the fragility and impossibility of the things that she wanted, the anger she had held onto for years ebbing away, Kasen finally could connect with her. "Sometimes, the things we think we want most, are really the things we need the least. Your power and presence has always been important to those that knew you, to those that know you, but you are blinded by your own fury. You may not have heard me, but I have watched you for some time. You have the power to kill thousands, but your only aim has to been to the right the wrongs that were forced upon you, but you don't have to fight anymore. You are chaotic vengeance. But you don't have to fight anymore. The ones who wronged you and your kin are long dead. Stop living in the past and learn to live for the future. I wish you could see yourself like I have always seen you. Kasen knew that Same had heard her, for the shark had finally appeared in the physical recreation of her mind. She saw the large dorsal fin off the coast. Kasen could feel some of her own control returning to her. It seemed the Same wasn't quite ready to give up her fight just yet, but Kasen could tell that her words had gotten to the shark. Now they could work towards living in harmony. They could be destructive, yes, but they could also use it for righteousness. That had been a significant turning point in there relationship.

A small smile appeared on Kasen's face as she had recalled that memory."I always have." The shark seemed to hum with satisfaction, knowing full well what memory Kasen had just recalled, before growing silent once more. It was good to see the shark happy now. A few more hours went by before Kasen stood and started to walk into the waters. Once she got about knee deep, she paused. The salt filled air circled around her. It was honestly a beautiful day for a swim. But Kasen craved more than a swim. She wanted to become one with the ocean once more, just for a little while. The blue haired woman felt her body start to change, and with a small leap forward, dove into the waters. She was a mermaid! Although once before Kasen had become a being of entirely liquid, allowing herself to truly phase herself with the water from start to end, this time Kasen had allowed herself a partial shift [Tidecaller - Liquid State]. It was clear that the woman wasn't entirely solid, but you could still distinguish her physical form. It was still odd, the sensation of not feeling like she needed to breathe. And that she felt not so much like she was swimming so much as she felt like she could glide through the water weightlessly. Bubbles drifted up to the surface as she looked up and saw the same sun now shimmering like it was behind warped glass.

Kasen moved forwards, going further into the waters. She wanted to see the sea life that she knew existed. While Wind Country was nothing but endless sands and life that could only survive the harsh conditions that they dwelled in, the ocean told another story. It was absolutely thriving with life. Kasen waved at some sharks as they swam by her. She resonated with these ocean creatures most of all, and they always seemed to recognize her when she passed them. As she reached a fairly comfortable depth, she found herself among a vibrant coral reef. Small colorful fish swam in and out of hiding places while a few bigger fish and some sea turtles swam overhead. Kasen's feet came to rest on the sandy bottom and a few little crabs scuttling past her; one seemed to have a tiny stick in his hand, it almost looked like a conducting baton. She drew closer to the reef and enjoyed herself by playing with some of the local fauna. They seemed curious about her presence, but overall not too bothered. Feeling a slight change in the waters, Kasen thought she might have seen a shadow of something in the distance, but there was always life of all shapes and sizes swimming around in these waters. It could have also just been a trick of the light, but she would happily greet any ocean dweller. Kasen returned to entertaining herself with some clown fish. It was odd to see a blue tang fish swimming around with a couple of them; they appeared to know each other. Kasen giggled, some bubbles floating upwards as she did so. Kasen felt like she could spend all day here, just enjoying the company of the sea.
