Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Stepping into the center of Kumogakure was practically stepping through time itself as the Torre displayed a lot of Kumogakures history. Many people was going to speak to the group, but they all decided not to due to how they moved. They moved with purpose and one could tell that the sennin wasn’t in a good mood. . . At all.

Junko had sent word through his assistant Kireina to meet with the sennin(s) and Raikage in one of the conference rooms. This was a village emergency and had the ability to turn into a country emergency if this plague spread. Worst part was, it was starting at the defense of the country. So, if this thing wasn’t stopped here. It wouldn’t be stopped at all. Lives were on the line and Junko refused to lose the place he called home.

Making their way through the halls, it wouldn’t be long before they’d come in contact with Kireina who was standing outside the conference room door holding a clipboard to her chest.

”The Raikage is on his way.”</B><i></i>Kireina said before opening the door to the conference room.

<B>”That’s good, Thanks.”

Looking at the conference table, many files and folders were placed on top and was ready to go for what Junko had to reveal. ”I’m curious, What information do you have Suyashi?” Junko said before looking at his watch. Taking a standing position near a window, Junko would cross his arms as he’d listen and wait.

Waking up early in the morn, in the days that he had been here he had learned a good bit about the land and the culture. The food as delicate, the women were fierce and sweet. Like bags of sweet and sour patch kids. Suyashi found himself enveloped in thought constantly here, wanting to learn more. See more. Feel more. Do more. His ideals were curved because he had traveled in his life already. From Water country to Earth Country, he had many travels in his life at such a young age. He was a nomad in his mind, only waiting for the next step in his life... Maybe he would make this place his home one day. Who knew but, he was called from his room, and guided to the middle of the village to the Torre as he heard it to be called.

"This is quite the building...", he'd state as they entered and made their way to meeting areas and awaited the Raikage. Kiri joined them, and Suyashi had hoped to gain and earn a bit of trust from all of this. He would try to recall everything he'd heard from this and wanted to move his body with ability to help the cause he was here to help. He knew this was going to be the stepping stone mission that would move him into greater positions in his own village, with his people. This was a chance, and he would have the put on the front of utmost respect even more so than he already felt.

"Oh..Well, my mission notes as I've read...", pausing for a moment to gather his thoughts, "The cells mutate and cause the hosts to become enraged, their physical prowess to double and their structure to alter as well. From what it seems it might be a reaction to Cursed Seal Manipulation, or some sort of that is reacting and spreading. That... Or maybe some Scooby Doo Experiment gone wrong...", nodding he would look over to Kiri and then Junko once again doing his best to seem versed in the situation, but he was merely quoting and adlibbing to the situation, maybe he was right? But if he were to be wrong that would surmise why he was here in the first place. This was his chance to gain respect, and learn more as time would be going on. Alas... now they would be playing the waiting game.

Accepting the visitor into Kumogakure was part of the plan. Aside from it, Kiri was to act as his personal bodyguard, or babysitter. Now while Suyashi was allowed to be in the village and perhaps find an inn to rent, Kiri wasn’t adverse if Junko deemed it more appropriate and convenient if their esteemed guest would be given a place in the Tsuyoshi Estate for the time he was in Kumogakure. Part of it, of course was to keep an eye on him. Sure, they trusted him, but they also need to make sure he wouldn’t get into trouble or it might stain international relations with Leaf. And the other part of it was so that communication for this task would be swifter and limited to the necessary personages. That being said, Kiri would always adhere to whatever decision would be made.

As they entered the Torre, guided by the Sennin’s secretary into a conference room, Kiri would follow behind them and take a seat just next to their guest. It wouldn’t be long before the meeting would begin and already he saw that numerous reports had been compiled through folders all across the table. And when Junko began to ask Suyashi about the said outbreak, Kiri couldn’t help but think there was more to this than what the Leafie had spoken.

“It’s almost as if you, yourself, aren’t entirely sure,” said Kiri, not really accusing though his choice of words may come out a bit cold, “Which means that this problem could lead to further potential danger. If it is a curse…” he remained silent for a bit as he caught Junko’s side glance at him. Was this the reason he was brought along? Because his chakra nature was about curses, thus making the suitable investigator for such? “Curses have sources. Even if the source is miles away, it will always leave traces on the curse. If we can know more about the said curse, then we can figure out the nature and origin. But are there any live examples that we can further investigate for this?”

So there was to be a meeting about a medical emergency in one of the conference rooms. Ayumu had been studying in the medical branch for the past couple of months to expand his skillset, however he expected that he hadn't been called in for his medical expertise. No, his being called in could only be attributed to his rank as the Raikage and only spoke to the gravity of the situation. Given the details he had heard so far, he'd had a pretty strong hunch about the subject of the meeting and it harkened back to a conversation he and Kahako had recently. It seemed that the timeline was moving forward quickly whether they were ready or not. Knowing Kahako's involvement, her knowledge of the subject and given that she, as his significant other, was the medical professional he trusted most in the village, Ayumu had asked her to attend the meeting as well.

It was a quick elevator ride down from his office to reach the level with the conference rooms. He was directed to the conference room in which the medical shinobi awaited. He instructed his guard to remain outside the room and then entered, immediately taking note of who was present. Junko was there, of course, as he had called the meeting. Kiri was there as well. Perhaps Ayumu would find out why shortly. He could only hope this wasn't another incident he had caused. Finally, a younger blonde boy was seated beside Kiri. This one Ayumu did not recognize, but he had been informed ahead of time that a shinobi from Leaf was to be in attendance.

"I'm here," Ayumu announced as he stopped in the entrance to the room. He nodded to Junko and Kiri as a quick greeting. "Kahako should be here momentarily as well. I asked her to come. I have a feeling this involves her,"<i></i> he said, breathing out a quiet sigh as he rubbed the back of his head, his other hand on his hip. He didn't like the direction this day was already headed.

The walk to this conference was exhausting. Sleep was not graced to him in some time. With the nightmares plaguing him, and with the current events. since he joined Junko in attempting to solve the growing issue. The physical changes were becoming more pronounced to him when he got into public. His nostrils were burning with the smell of blood all around him. Yet being in a jacket that sap all his strength, all he could afford to do was walk in line behind Junko all the way to Torre Celeste. His head of golden hair hiding his face along with the faded blue sweater hoodie.

The wounds he suffered by the creatures he encountered were sore but almost fully healed, yet he wasn't healed by a jutsu or medically attended to. His wounds were closing slowly on their own still. Smaller cuts healed into small lines on his skin, and even now they look to vanish and his skin looked unscathed. His throat, ears and nose itched and he had overwhelming urges to scratch at the skin that was healing in hours.

When they arrived at the building, entered the lobby and headed down corridors. Keiji paused Junko's Secretary. Kireina. "Um, Kireina-San. Could you help remove the Jacket? I gotta go use the washroom." He gave a weak laugh. "All that coffee, forgot to use the washroom before throwing this thing on." He gave an awkward laugh.

After getting the jacket off and being allowed a few moments of privacy, he took the moment to collect himself and his thoughts. More so to just relieve himself and then scratch and pick at his wounds. They were still in process of scabbing over, the skin was healing nicely, no bruising was left. He could move his arms and legs easily without strain. He was glad fighting a giant mutated dog didn't end in him debilitated.

He stopped moving, looking up in the mirror of the washroom. It was there behind him. The tall shadow in black clean suit. It's insidious dark purple slimy skin glistened in the dim light of the bathroom. It's glowing red eyes peering at Keiji. Unnerving him for a moment. Then to breath and look at himself, ignoring the form stalking his vision.

Keiji was checking his mercury colored eyes that had unnatural glow in dim light. He wondered if this altered his vision in the dark, it was unusually brighter now that he noticed. His dry tongue ran along his fangs. he had filed them down repeated times, yet in an hour or two they always grew back sharp enough that he had to be cautious running his tongue along them. His nails were sharp and pointed, he tried filing them as well every morning, but they would grow back just as the fangs, sharp and strong enough to tare through soft flesh.

The though caused a rush of heat to run along his body which made him tense. He needed to clear his head. Maybe some cold water splashed to the face would refresh him. "Had enough coffee already." He laughed as he turned the tap but froze solid as what poured out wasn't water, but a small stream of blood spitting out and filling the sink. His hands coated in it as he pulled away.

Blinking and breathing in panic. His chest pounding as the water soaked his arm and sleeves. He calmed as he peered quietly at the water trickling off his hand, then back at the sink collecting water. He quickly washed himself, drank as much of the medication he had left. Vacating the bathroom to join the secretary.

The jacket back over his body gave him some relief, He just wanted to find somewhere quiet to sit. But it seemed like people were already in the room and discussing. He went about quietly joining by Junko's side. Saying nothing to anyone till his part in the talk was needed.

Those in the room would see a teen dressed in a blue hoodie that was stained with blood and torn as if some rabid creature tried devouring it, his jeans were slashed and also looked dried of blood. His hair a long mess of gold and eyes that held pools of mercury when he glanced up silently from under his hood. A restraining jacket wrapped around him binding his upper body.
