Suzume is rather tiny - similar to her father, Maru. Her well maintained black hair is long enough to almost entirely hide her whole 3 and a half foot (104 cm) tall body. It often hangs in front of her face, hiding what is usually an innocent expression. Her periwinkle eyes are just a hue away from matching her father’s purple. She resembles a doll more than a human - with skin that's soft and fair as porcelain. Maybe if she could sit still long enough on a shelf of a doll shop someone would try to buy her! But, if that were to actually happen, the customer would be a bit surprised that the doll weighs 45 pounds (20 kg). The clothes she usually wears are simple yet fashionable. Enough to cover up, but never so drastic it becomes a problem for training or battle.
Personality
With a natural curiosity to what surrounds her, Suzume is typically one to take the quiet and cautious approach (It takes a lot for her to be loud or obnoxious). She’ll ask many questions, and at times too many, before making a decision. She won’t realize when she says something insensitive, but after all Suzume is only a child. Her favorite pastime is to play harmless pranks on others, especially her father. She looks up to him tons, and her ultimate goal is to make him proud. Stubbornness should be expected from her, but if you ask her about why she won’t change her mind it’s because she’s ambitious. If there's an obstacle, she won't stop trying to find a way around it until something works - and with that, sometimes her head gets stuck in the clouds.
History
It had been difficult for her mother to keep up with how active Suzume was. Even as an infant, it's just how the girl was born. A village elder one time found her crawling on the other side of the village - her mother had no idea where she dashed off to! Fortunately, once she grew out of the toddler phase, she learned better than to just take off. The girl had formed a good sense of discipline, although she'd break it where she knows she could get away with it - just as some mischief to keep things interesting. Still, she'd spend day and night in the training fields. Sometimes she'd make her mother worried that she wasn't returning because of how much time she'd spend there. However, once she came across her father during another training session, the option to join the academy and live with him was opened up to her - and so, she took it.
