Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Izura stood at the base of the kage tower, his arms crossed and a leg propped up as he leaned against the wall of an adjacent building, waiting for Sabaku. The bandages and hospital robes were gone- replaced by his black shinobi attire. It was night time again, this time the clouds blocking any source of moonlight and casting an even darker shadow on the village below. Setting up the meeting was harder than he thought- Sabaku was an anbu operative after all. But he had already seen the anbu’s chakra signature at the beach, making it possible to eventually find the anbu while he was off duty. Part of it was luck too- the village was a vast place, it was only by chance that the Uchiha had managed to find him at a nearby restaurant. He subtly placed a message next to the dinner tab, which indicated to the young anbu to meet him near the base of the kage tower the following night.

Izura hoped that Sabaku had thought things through at the beach. But that was just a glimpse of the true darkness of the world. The truth of the darkness of the village reached deeper than that, and Izura had confirmed it only within days of entering the village at all. His investigation had led him to the base of the kage tower- a hint that it could be the root of operations for a large scale jashinist cult that was kidnapping people to be used as sacrifices. Izura knew that a head-on fight without numbers on his side was akin to suicide. There had to be more planning and preparation. A strike force would likely be needed, if Izura’s speculations proved to be true. In any case, hopefully Sabaku would be willing to listen. Just in case though, he transformed, disguising himself as a member of the stone anbu. There was no point in risking things after all.

The not that was left for him was incredibly cryptic. It included nothing but a few scribbled lines, indicating that someone wanted to meet... Why did these things always happen to Sabaku? "Meet at the base of the Kage's tower at nightfall." It read. The thing that bothered him most was not the how, but the why. Why would someone seek him deliberately out of all the other anbu members... In any matter, Sabaku would wait for night to set upon the quiet village of Stone and he would set off towards his destination.

It seemed this mystery friend picked a rather unsavory place to meet at that, the Obsidian Ring. The scent of blood was strong in this area and the overwhelming feeling that you were always being watched was heavily present. Sabaku would tread lightly here... In time, he reached the location. What was waiting for him was quite unusual. From what Sabaku could gather, it was another member of the anbu, one he had not seen before... Though the majority of that faction masquerades themselves within the shadows, so it wouldn't be unheard of. From this distance he couldn't make out the coloring on his mask, he would need to inspect it further and see just what rank this guy was. Once he arrived, he would make himself known and press further in hopes of shedding some light as to the reasoning behind this "meeting".

I believe you are waiting for me? Why have you summoned me to this place?
