It was an odd feeling being in the maternity ward, like, he was seriously completely out of place.
Mind you he looked no different than most doctors there but instead of anything actually medical he was instead sprucing things up so that everything was more comfortable and pleasing for the parents to be. He expected it would be easy…it wasn’t.
Women already terrified the young man as it was given their natural volatile nature for destroying everything that laid in their path…seeing on in labor was a horror beyond anything he could ever imagine.
The screaming profanity, the death threats, the bed rails being pulled from the frame and thrown across the tents to fly out and smack a passing nurse…it was all something that just made Tama that much more terrified of the opposite gender.
Quickly he went about his mission while trying to quell his beating heart.
For starters he decided it would be within everyone’s best interest if he fortified the tents that the mothers were giving birth in by warping the molecular structure of the tents so that they were solid and hard an no more stray pieces of metal could come flying out. Secondly he then solidified the cloth so that it became sound proof, deafening the screams of pain and anguish.
He then began to equip these now solid tents that were hard as rocks with special air conditioning units that were powered with ice chakra crystals that would keep the tents temperature controlled so that the women didn’t suffocate while in the now solid air tight tents.
Once the tents were the birth was occurring were secured and made more comfortable the scientist then entered the part of the ward where there were rows and rows of little cots that held the infants sleeping inside of them.
His heart almost exploded with ‘awww’ when he stepped inside and saw the sleeping children. Upon seeing the cute faces of the children of Suna to be his fear of women let up just enough for him to realize that relations with those beasts at least produced something good.
Quickly and quietly he went about solidifying the tent but in a way so that sound could still be heard from the outside but kept any stray wind from being swept up inside. The thirtieth conditioning unit was installed there and turned on a much lower setting than that for the mothers so that their brood didn’t freeze to death.
With his work done and the maternity ward far more quiet than it had been in years Tama scooted out of the tent with the infants and went about towards the office to get paid for this week.
