Yuuko had wandered into Maple Town after accepting the mission to do some volunteer work at the postal office. She saw many people walking around and having fun, and she had wished she could have this much fun. As a shinobi she had to say screw anything fun and become super serious, especially as a Genin to the Leaf. As she stood right in front of the post office entrance, she had let out a soft sigh.
"Well...here goes nothing I guess...." Yuuko whispered to no one in particular and stepped right inside. On the inside you could see only a few employees working, and some customers waiting to be helped by them. Sheesh, this place sure is understaffed like the mission assignment had said. A much older gentleman, presumably the big boss man came out of the back and eyed Yuuko.
"Aah! You must be the girl who is here to help out at the post office!" The man had said, his voice quite raspy sounding. "Well, we're more than happy to accept your help! We can use helpful and young people like you." He let out a gentle laugh. Yuuko nodded her head, acknowleding that she had in fact been sent here due to the mission board request posted by him.
"Well, follow me then." the man said, guiding her behind the counter and walking her to the backroom to get suited up. He handed Yuuko a postal office worker outfit and directed her to go and change into it. As she went to do so, she saw it got even busier since she last came out when she was changed. The guy then got her all set up and just had her sort mail for now and such for the time being. The employees manning the counter were finally about done with everybody inside sending off mail or asking questions about things.
"Hey, kid, can ya deliver the mail now?" A different voice spoke, not the same man as before. He must be the assistant manager or something...right?
"Yeah, sure!" Yuuko responded to him and took the bag of mail with her around her shoulder. Reading the many addresses and such, she dropped the mail off as quickly as she could. Wow, Maple Town sure had tons of mail! Yuuko wondered why they didn't hire more employees, but guesses it is a good experience for her and other ninja.
Yuuko had been done now, and walked right on back inside the post office and laid the bag the mail was in by the managers door. The place was about to close for the night, and the manager came out.
"Maan, good work! I will inform them you did your part of the job!" He responded, letting out a big smile on his face and allowing her to leave.
"All in a day's work, I guess." Yuuko spoke out toward the guy and walked right on out. She did her job, and was ready to move onto the next job now.
