Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Prologue

The winds of winter pushed the sun through the day very quickly, bringing the night ever sooner each day. The curse of the northern hemisphere around this time as the nights began to last much longer, and the days seemed to no longer offer the warmth they once did. This of course made the plans of hiding out in the poorer areas of Kumogakure very difficult because the thought of a warm home with a bed was even more tempting now that the samurai had spent a long time avoiding home.

He had hid himself from Konoha as they arrived for a visit to the village, and despite managing to hide in plain sight against the Hokage he still felt like he needed to get out of there. He didn’t want Yuii’s rank compromised because he was here, or even worse: him being brough out and executed. No both of those were bad endings so he knew he had to hide away.

For months he had hid himself in the slums, meditating away to work on his mental prowess. The fight had left him feeling fragile against genjutsu so he knew he had to work on that. And for months he would practice at genjutsu himself until he knew what he was fighting against. Books had taught him all the genjutsu he needed during his time away, and books also taught him how to channel his attacks so they appeared to attack the mind rather than the body.

The months flew by and the village was mostly rid of Leaf shinobi, leaving the hermit to come out of his shell home. It would be abandoned, just like he found it, and would proceed to return to where his sister was. Boy did he have some explaining to do to her…

The same ol’ apartment seemed to never change from the outside. It didn’t really seem to stand out from the rest of them besides the trinkets and decorations that each laid out in front of them. Though Sunuke knew it off by heart by now.

He remembered the key he had been given by Yuii for the apartment, in case he was coming home from a busy day of sitting on the couch. Or drinking. Or a combination of the two somehow. Either way it was good that he had a key to her place or it would be a very embarrassing knock on the door…

Maybe it would be better to knock… since it has been a while. He thought about this for a short while before knocking on the door of her apartment.

He had never been so nervous. Not even climbing up to the gates made him feel this way. The butterflies inside felt like they were going to burst from his stomach and become a new Aburame host inside of him. He’d have to change his name to Aburame Sunuke due to all the butterflies inside of him. But they dissipated after a while due to the fact there was no answer.

Using the key, Sunuke would turn the lock and open the door to find the place completely empty and tidy… Completely unlike Yuii who wasn’t unkempt per say but… not clean to the point of OCD.

”What the fu-“ were the sounds that the missing-nin would mouth as he stepped inside his sister’s apartment that seemed as empty as the obvious ruse they must have been playing on him. He knew of the game shows that people watched on the telebox.

”Where is everyone?”
