Toyoko decided that the Commercial District was a safe bet for her run back to the Omni Prime Medical Facility, because surely with the crowded streets, no one would dare try to attack a small girl. There were also a plethora of alleys to hide in, shadows to blend with, and people still milling about to try and lose herself in the crowd. She was worried about Ayame, as her cousin ran off in a different direction, but now wasn't the time to concern herself with that. Something was wrong with the mask, she could just feel it. Almost as if there were something staring into her back, but every time she turned around there was nothing there.
She patted her backpack, ensuring that the mask was still inside, before darting from the alley she was currently hiding in out into the crowded streets. Slowing her walk enough to not arouse suspicion, Toyoko glanced around to make sure that she wasn't being followed. One of the perks of being so small: it was hard to keep track of her amongst a group of taller people. She could see between their legs, though, and hoped that whatever presence she felt behind her would be slowed down or even deterred by the crowds surging around her.
