It was a fine day, the trees hung low, their branches cast shadows on the small estate of the Santaru that lay nestled within the various clan districts. Soku was proud of it as she stood in front of the main structure, two statues of men wielding spears adorned on either side of the doors. The estate composed of only 3 buildings at the moment. A living quarters, an audience room and a armory. She would expand it in the near future but for now, there were more pressing matters to attend to. She was expecting someone, a student in fact. In order to prevent from going astray like the others she had witnessed, Soku was willing to take him on if he was as well. But first..he would have to endure a little test. She stepped out of her room, her hair pinned up in a bun, she wore a flowing blue kimono with the Santaru symbol emblazoned on the back. Walking towards the audience hall, she handed a envelope to the guard who was on duty."Deliver this to Inuzuka Kiramaru. It is a summons. Tell him he is to meet with Santaru Soku at the clan estate at once. Inform him he has 10 minutes to make it to the destination from the time he recieves this note." The guard bowed once to the female before scurrying off to find the Inuzuka.
Soku took her seat in the hall drumming her fingers on the desk before her. On it lay a assortment of items, three cups filled with clear liquid and a headband. If all went well, Kiramaru would have a thing to look up to after this. The lesson was simple but also required a great sense of awareness. Something a student from the Inuzuka clan should be capable of. If he failed here, there would be no turning back. Soku reached under the desk and brought out a fourth cup filled with a purplish liquid. Slowly, she put some drops of it into the three cups which bubbled a bit before going badk to their normal state. Replacing the cup of poison under the desk, the Santaru smiled. The chemical wasn't essentialy deadly but he would be in for a very bad day if he miscalculated.
When he arrived, he would be greeted by Nibachi, the Santaru elder and Soku's guardian of sorts. The man was usually found mulling about at the gates. He was itching for a fight or some drinks but knew sometimes, he had to grow up and act like a adult for once. Kiramaru would be escorted to the auidence hall by Nibachi who would promptly leave him telling the Inuzuka to knock thrice upon the door before entering. It was time to see just exactly what this boy was capable of doing.
