Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Hoshitsu made his way through the entertainment district at a nice pace, enjoying the sights and smells of the local area. He was never much fond of the place during the day time, but in the evening everything held a pleasant atmosphere. Making his way past one of the diners, he stopped in for a bit of sushi before continuing. ' with the yen the academy gives me for training, I can finally afford to indulge'. After a small order of crab rolls he made his way back out into the quiet street. His cravings satisfied, Hoshitsu walked down the familiar path he took after a stressful day.

" I'm not used to all this advanced fighting" He said to himself. "Dad always used taijutsu in our training, and sure the punches and kicks hurt like hell, but I've never been electrocuted before". Hoshitsu paused and thought back to his class earlier that day. He remembered the flash of light, and the pain of being struck in the arm with such desperate force. " Shinobi are not a thing to take lightly I suppose. And every fights a lot more ferociously when backed against a wall".

The air was cool and there was a soft breeze flowing through the back ally he always took. The sun was about halfway set, and the sky had a calming dull orange glow against the dark of the night sky. Though the sun was still visible, Hoshitsu made out stars against the eastern sky. The ally lead to a small opening where an abandoned house sat. There was still a rough patch of grass where a pseudo front lawn once lay. The house was made of a sturdy but terribly rusted metal. The door was solid and very much unwelcoming for a house, it had remained firmly locked for as long as he could remember. Hoshitsu climbed a small side ladder up to the roof of the old house. He sat down against the brick chimney and looked out at the village. ' It's almost the perfect time of night'. He smiled to himself as the sun crept down the horizon. ' Its a shame nobody comes here, the view is wonderful. But then again, its nice knowing that this place is empty. No body will bother me here'.

Hoshitsu stared reached in his robes and pulled out a small container. It was an old flip out cigarette holder his grandpa had left him after his passing. From it he produced a cigarette he had gotten from his fathers pack while he was drunk a few nights back. It was one of many he had swiped during his fathers drunken evenings. He rolled it between his fingers for a moment before smelling of the sweet tobacco inside. As he did, the sun made its was past the horizon and night finally took the sky. He lit his smoke and inhaled the sickly sweet leaves and held them for a moment before exhaling. He watched as the smoke drifted up and over the lights of the entertainment district. It trailed its way out and up with the gentle gusts that swept though and dissipated as they drifted up into the wind. Hoshitsu looked up at where the smoke had gone and looked at the stars past it in the night sky.

"perfect" he whispered to himself.

He had never thought he'd be 13 and smoking as much as he did. But leading the kind of home life, with all the lessons and beatings and drunken debacles he faced on a daily basis, he had grown to enjoy them. There was something about the buzz and the night air that just let all the stress melt away.

"after getting zapped, and learning how to climb a wall, I think i deserve a nice smoke".

and with that, he hunkered down to enjoy his cigarette and watch the lights in the city.

Kioku happened upon the young man inhaling the substance into his lungs with a curious stare. He was called there by a power not many understood, but it was the very wind that took away the smoke that directed the large man to climb the ladder as well. He stood in a pair of sandals, his feet rather rugged looking, and a robe of his own. It was his attire these days, as comfort was just as important as practicality. He thought for a moment, whether the young man noticed him or not, just why his Goddess had brought him there that evening. Perhaps this young one was in need of help, or maybe he was an abomination that needed to be eradicated from the face of the earth. When it came to his faith, he did all in her name.

"Young man, why do you inhale poison into the body that Konohana was most graciously given to you?" he began in a very calm and almost reverent tone. "It pains her so for you to be harming such a perfect being as yourself."

***

Lastly, far away in the forest of Kumogakure, Gekido is banging his wife because they have a healthy relationship. It's a good thing they are no where near to this conversation.

[Kio is a dNPC to Gekido. So Kido needed to be mentioned in order for Kio to converse with Hoshitsu]

Hoshitsu exhaled his hit and calmly looked over to the strange man. 'Never even heard him approach, but in a village of shinobi, should that really surprise me?'. He turned to the man and addressed his question.

"Poison? yes, I suppose that's accurate. Well mister, we all have our vices, some of them just happen to send us to the grave sooner in exchange for relief."

Hoshitsu looked at the cigarette, now almost burned down to the filter. He had never really focused on the long term effects of smoking, but at the same time, leading the lives they all did, would anyone in the village really worry about such things? It was far more likely that everyone would meet their end in combat, rather than as a result of the substances they consumed.

"I couldn't tell you who SHE is, but I doubt I've ever met the person you speak of".
he stared at the strange man sharing space on Hoshitsus' smoke spot.
"And if I ever did, I'm sure she wouldn't think of me as a [perfect being]"

He stood and approached the man. Holding out his hand in a form of greeting he spoke.

"my name is Hoshitsu," he stated " no need to make more enemies in such a dangerous time."

he awaited the strangers response in a tense silence.

"Vices."

Kioku smiled and the teenager spoke. It was a bittersweet statement that he had made. Relief now, for a shorter life later, potentially. Kioku couldn't help but frown a little in thought. "When one so young is so troubled by the world, there is something truly wrong that needs remedy. I must find out what it is." he resolved as Hoshitsu continued to speak.

The poor young thing didn't believe he was perfect, but he was so far from wrong. Well almost, with the current state of his lungs, he was not perfect. But Konohana was understanding. It was Kioku's job to find out why the young man smoked and take care of it. This evening wouldn't end until that was settled.

While Kioku had been thinking, Hoshitsu stood up and placed a hand out for a hand shake. His words were peculiar and somewhat troubling. "Why would we be enemies?" wondered the giant man. His large hand reached out to shake his hand with a smile.

"I've no intention of becoming your enemy tonight. I seek peace with all that I meet." began Kioku, and then he gestured for the boy to take a seat once again. He took the time to sit as well, cross legged. "My name is Kioku, of the Ishikawa clan. Hoshitsu, I was wondering if you would perhaps grace me with a story. Why is it you began smoking? And, don't worry. I'm not going to try and get you to cease smoking. I'm just wondering is all."

The man shook Hoshitsus' hand and and told him his name. 'Kioku, now there's a name you dont hear too often'. Hoshitsu took his seat back against the wall of the chimney. Kioku sat as well and asked Hoshitsu for the origin of his bad, soon-to-be habit. He sat back and stared up at the stars for a moment. He was new to the feel, and a moderate buzz had settled over him from the nicotine.

He sighed briefly before speaking "I suppose it goes back a few weeks ago. My father is a taijutsu specialist, and since I'm a ninjutsu user, my father has been anything but happy about it. He's got a bad tendency to dip into the sake a bit too much, and smokes far more than anyone else I know. He's always training me to become better in my tai, but the stress, it gets to me y'know?"

Hoshitsu looked back up to the sky as he continued " One night he decided to train me while drunk off his ass, He took it too far and i got pretty hurt. Instead of apologizing, he downed the rest of his sake and passed out. a just lit cigarette still burning by his hand. I picked it up and thought about it for a moment. He always seemed happy while drinking and smoking. As if this stick held all the answers to the questions he could never ask. So I took a drag. then another. Eventually I charred the filter and had a coughing fit".

He looked back down and focused on Kioku. " The feeling was perfect. the exact mix of morbid pleasure and disorienting relief. "

Hoshitsus' eyes unfocused after he said that, thinking back to the conversations he had with his grandpa before his disappearance. "It was the same feeling I got when I thought about life and death. It was akin to a mercy killing, like crushing the head of a fly that has lost its wings".

"Even though the damage has been done, and there was no cure, its as if that little roll of leaf and cotton sympathized with me, and if only for a moment, I had someone to understand"

Hoshitsu finished and let the silence waft over them. He didn't smoke for a happy reason, but then, who really did?

' guess that's the problem with the world today, no one gives a damn about the kids, so they have to find their own bliss. Too bad we dont know any better. ' He let that thought hang for a moment before looking to Kioku for a response.

A small Irregular noise of steps could faintly be heard, not anywhere on the street.. but somewhere along the direction..
If one looked closer.. a shadow atop the darkened rooftops, was running.. only noticeable by the faint glow of untrained chakra from hands and feet as the person traversed the obstacles on the way...
at some point the person skidded to a stop at a rooftop just across the street.
Yukiko had caught the whiff of smoke... and shortly after seen the glow from one atop worn Down Building..
as she stood there she was lit up by the light on the street..
'I Wonder whose up there' she thought..
but I just learned its not nice to spy on people..

[OOC: if noticed I'l post on]

[If not noticed]
she thought: 'Oh well.. might as well continue home'
she turned around.. and slowly vanished in the shadows.

Hoshitsu Was wrapped in thought for a moment, reveling in his questionable home life. Until he caught sight of someone up ahead by the entrance to the ally. ' this place sure is busy tonight' Hoshitsu thought to himself. As the person stepped by the dim street light, curiosity caught him by surprise. 'Hey, wait a minuet'. The figure looked familiar, and between the soft haze settling from the night and the dim light of the street lamp, Hoshitsu was struck with Deja Vu.

"Hayabusa? Is that you?" Hoshitsu called to the figure down the ally.

What a strange place for his classmate to be traveling by at such a time. However given that they all ended class fairly late in the day, He supposed it wouldn't be too far fetched for any of them to be around here.

"man, this town has a lot familiar faces, I should really get out more. Hey Kioku, mind if we have one more up here?" He asked, addressing his new found friend.

Sitting upon a rooftop, the skies filled with darkness. Twinkling stars filled the sky with a hint of nicotine filling the air. It was slight, but it's heart warming smell made Junko take a pull on his cigarette even harder. Exhaling a cloud of smoke, Junko was glad to be relaxing. He viewed some intense sparring earlier that replayed through his head. The young children would surely be a great asset to the village or early casualties. Hopefully he wouldn't view their corpse to soon.

A slight breeze could be felt and Junko could hear a discussion on cigarettes. He really didn't like those discussions, it was a choice after all. A life decision that people started for their own reasons. Apparently, the young lads reason was due to his father. "Interesting.." Junko thought standing to his feet, a sudden shift in footsteps had been coming his way. The miniature body had been moving vigorously with chakra concentrated at their hands and feet.

"Someone's in a rush.. Don't you think."

"Indeed..."

The body soon stop, the figure hidden within the nights shadows. With the help of a moving cloud, the moonlight soon illuminated the area, revealing everything Entirely. Junko's eyes glistened in the moonlight as the nights cool breeze flowed through his hair. He wore his usual attire, but in a more relaxing way. His jacket over his shoulder, sleeves rolled to the elbow, tie loosened, and a few buttons undone at the collar. Looking at the individual, it was a young girl. In fact, it was the academy girl with the arrows that shot lightning. With a quick observation of the area, Junko could now see the other young lad and the individual he was conversing with.

"Look at this ... A reunion."

"I see, the same two determined academy students that could've kilt each other."

"you two could've destroyed each other.... Did you guys know that? " Junko said in the mid-point between the two, coming to the edge of the building he stood on. Flicking his cig, Junko awaited their response.

While addressing The newly shown up Hayabusa, A man had emerged from the shadows. One of the people who were overlooking the class earlier that day. The man was also smoking a cigarette. 'you two could've destroyed each other.... Did you guys know that?'
The man flicked his cig at the ground and looked at the two students with what seemed like a demanding glare.

"I held back with my mist justsu, it would take a lot more than my half-assed hits to destroy Yukiko here. And I get roughed up on a regular basis at home. Or are you implying that the shinobi of Kumogakure are fragile little pushovers?"

It was a supervised class. And Hoshitsu had no intent on going all out in a school match. Yet something about the tone in the mans voice reminded Hoshitsu of the fight. He remembered the scream she let out when first hit. He looked down at his hand and clenched it, thinking deeply of his actions. ' There's no way I could have seriously hurt her, is there? I mean, doesn't lightning beat water?' Hoshitsu looked over at Yukiko in the light of the streetlamp. ' She seems fine, besides, her aura seems stronger than my own. In a fair fight she'd could probably mop the floor with me, especially with those lightning bolts.'

He looked back at the man. "who are you anyway?"

She turned around to leave when one of the figures called out
"Hayabusa? Is that you?"

'Hoshitsu?... was that Hoshitsu?'
She did not have time to answer back before another person entered the mix
"you two could've destroyed each other.... Did you guys know that?

As she turned around to face Hoshitsu her eyes followed the direction where the second voice had come.
And she caught the light from a cig flying Down on the street.

"I held back with my mist jutsu, it would take a lot more than my half-assed hits to destroy Yukiko here. And I get roughed up on a regular basis at home. Or are you implying that the shinobi of Kumogakure are fragile little pushovers?

Who are you anyway?"

'Roughed up on a regular basis.. Hoshitsu must not have had it easy.. just as herself.' and probably many others she thought
Yukiko decided not to answer the newcomer, as she had learned. keep quiet if your not asked and her past experiences told her - this was not a question.
If her past experiences were any good, she did not know yet.. so far they had not been enough.
But she did remind her self not to let her anger take control like that.. most of all she had only been surprised,
Hot steam would hurt anyone not trained or ready for it.
And as it was the first time she had experienced anything the like. she had no defence for it or known that it would hurt.
It was different now.. because now she knew that it would hurt. she would not be surprised by that Again.
She turned her attention to the man at the midpoint between Hoshitsu, the second person who had yet to speak, and her.

His story was sad. It was true that in a military state such as Kumogakure, children were not a main aspect of family life in most families. It wasn't so for the Ishikawa, but Kioku wasn't going to let himself be blinded by personal experience. It too was a shame that one so young had to start inhaling smoke for relief, but they were in the business of putting their life on the line as soldiers so it was understood.

Soon thereafter, Hoshitsu seemed to have realized that a friend of his was below and asked for permission for her to come up and join them. Kioku chuckled. "I am not your master. Do as you wish, only the world has the right to stop you."

The arrival of the newcomer was not sudden to Kioku. He immediately took a guarded stance against the abomination that stood in front of them. They talked amongst each other while the giant of a man assessed the threat. Kinjutsu were forbidden for a reason, and the Ishikawa could sense a demon within this man. "Be careful you two," he said, towards Hoshitsu and Yukiko. "The one who stands before us is an abomination that shouldn't even be alive. There is a creature within him who seeks to harm Konohana's creation." he spoke in a rather religious tone. In time, Kioku had side stepped himself between the young teens and his opponent. "Leave these students be and go your way demon." he directed firmly.

Who are you anyway?"

Looking at the young lads tone, it was obvious the mood had taken a sudden shift. He was something else, courage and determination burned brightly within the young one. Focusing on the girl, Junko could see that she had nothing to add. "Silence Is Golden." Junko thought with a sigh, noticing the demeanor of kioku, the giant.

"push overs? Fragile? I'm simply stating what you could've done. With You being so young, you lack control." Junko said, but stopped, noticing Kioku's religious tone.

"The one who stands before us is an abomination that shouldn't even be alive. There is a creature within him who seeks to harm Konohana's creation."

"See what kind of trouble you bring Mazoku?""

"Fuck trouble, who's he calling an abomination? I would love to harm his creative ass right now. What's with this pitiful human?"

"Hmm lets see, oh I got it! Maybe you're a demon inside a fellow shinobi. That could be his problem."

"Ugh, whatever."

"Really don't feel like the bull shit though."

"Leave these students be and go your way demon."

Junko pinched at the bridge of his nose. He could picture things going over board if the guy was a hot head. With another sigh, Junko sat at the edge of the near building where he was, letting his feet dangle as he looked at kioku. "I have no intentions to harm anyone and my friend doesn't neither. If I did, we would be in battle and not conversation. So please, remain calm. I just find these young ones interesting. Their determination and courage raised a brow." Junko said, his eyes analyzing the group.

"My name is Tsuyoshi Junko, One of kumogakures fellow MiT. How's the injuries?" Junko said awaiting their reactions, his voice calm and a bit nonchalant. Possibly, kioku would realize Junko was the medical Sennins pupil.

"Friend?......" Mazoku said calming down a bit.

As Kioku moved between The students and Junko, Hoshitsu grew even more uneasy than he had previously felt. Once Kioku called the man a demon, Hoshitsus' uneasy feeling grew even more. ' So more than just one demon was watching that fight. Damn, this isn't good'. He began to bring up his guard in case a fight broke out. Though the man was clearly stronger than him, Hoshitsu was pleased by the thought of socking him. ' I may be young, But we'd see who lacks control when I swell those condescending eyes of yours'. Hoshitsu was disarmed at the mans next statement however.

"I have no intentions to harm anyone and my friend doesn't neither. If I did, we would be in battle and not conversation. So please, remain calm. I just find these young ones interesting. Their determination and courage raised a brow."

'Raised a brow? Now I'm pissed he doesn't want a fight, I'd raise that brow all right'. Hoshitsu had a serious issue with being spoken down to. Especially by those with authority. ' People like you really make my blood boil. we get it, you're tough, you dont have to get off on it'. But just as his temper flared up, it was doused again.

"My name is Tsuyoshi Junko, One of kumogakures fellow MiT. How's the injuries?"

Hoshitsu was taken aback. ' Medical nin? OH! so thats why he was overlooking the fight. And I guess we really didn't have much chance to get checked out after we all dipped out like that after Yuuto sensei told us to book it'. Hoshitsu eased up. ' Come to think of it, my shoulder is pretty stiff. Nothing a good nap cant fix, but why not fix it up now? I hear those med nin have pretty sweet healing jutsus'. Hoshitsu stepped forward a bit and responded

"My shoulder's still kinda wonkey, but I'm sure its nothing an Mit can't hand-" Hoshitsu stopped for a moment. Something wasn't right. He quickly changed his demeanor and returned his guard. " Wait a second. What the hell kind of Med nin has a demon inside him? "

He had a bad feeling about Junko. And he was mad that he'd allowed himself to slip up and state his weakness. Though Junko had obviously seen the fight, it wouldn't have been too hard to figure out Hoshitsus' injured areas. But he had almost fallen for it. Almost allowed himself to get too close to a demon. Hoshitsu wouldn't allow himself to consort with those who used forbidden techniques. The irony of which was not lost on him. But Hoshitsu considered himself different. He was determined to make the Chigokai an ability that would no longer be looked down upon as forbidden. He reasoned that using blood was no different than using chakra. That if it's the life source of a person, using it as a tool shouldn't be a sin. But demons, there was something that was black and white. No good could come of a union like that.

" While you say you're intentions are good, understand that I can't exactly trust you alright? With that said I'll tend to my own wounds, and ask that you keep your distance from me. I dont much like to be approached by users of the dark, and frankly, it's happened too many times since I've joined the academy."

And with that statement Hoshitsu turned and walked back down the ally to the old house. He wasn't too afraid, Kioku seemed like a more than capable fighter, and if someone attacked a student, the Anbu would show no mercy. But hoshitsu couldn't help but wonder if his dream was getting him too mixed up with the wrong kind of crowd.

This was escalating quick..
Well at least Junko did what he could to calm it.. not that neither Hoshitsu or the man he was talking to seemed to let the situation calm Down..
To Yukiko neither a demon or anything else was a problem, as long as it served your will. and helped you to get stronger, to protect and to serve.
something that Yukiko held dear. to get stronger.. and to protect those who could not protect themselves.

The man that introduced himself as Junko had observed their fight, and probably had tips to become stronger.. so for now.. she would remain where she was
letting her feet dangle out from the rooftop that she was on.. in the hope that this demeanour would show a pacifistic stance to this conflict that the religious sounding man and Junko were opposite people to..

Yukiko pulled out a glitter stone, one that she had found earlier in the forest.. it was already loosing its edge from her curling it around in her hands.. but she did oh so love the glitter. and this night sky and light from the streets, did change the glitter in interesting ways..! and at the same time.. it was a good way to train chakra control, holding the stone with a flat palm and controlling its sliding up and Down the vertical hand.

As she played with the stone she kept a Sharp eye on the others. making sure that she could move her self to aid, to defend, to escape or to attack if needed be.
For now she kept silent

Looking at Hoshitsus eyes, it could tell it all. As Junko said, he lacked control. From observation, it was In mind, and in body. His bad temper was visible, so was his thrill for battle. Junko was reckless when he was that age, didn't care about anything. He only wanted to get stronger and fight when ever possible. It was as if battle filled the void of his pain throughout the years. Being an orphan brung a lot of suffering, pain, and tears. Junko had to deal with his problems some how.

Everyone's guard was up, except for the young girl, she seemed a bit more at ease, but that could easily change. Letting his feet still dangle, Junko tapped his feet upon the building, still relaxing despite the others frustration.

"My shoulder's still kinda wonkey, but I'm sure its nothing an Mit can't hand-"

" Wait a second. What the hell kind of Med nin has a demon inside him? "</COLOR>
<i></i>

Junko was about to speak, but the boy continued on, so he decided to wait, shaking his head a bit as he spoke.

<COLOR color="blue">" While you say you're intentions are good, understand that I can't exactly trust you alright? With that said I'll tend to my own wounds, and ask that you keep your distance from me. I dont much like to be approached by users of the dark, and frankly, it's happened too many times since I've joined the academy."

"What type of med-nin, has a demon inside of him? Good question. Well, one that saved the Susukino District. The very district your in as we speak kid. There were only two options when stopping the demon’s rampage. One, send them back through the rift into the demon world or two, seal them away somewhere." Junko said pointing in the direction of where the destruction took place. Upon close observation, one would see the destroyed club still under reconstruction along with the scenery still battle torn in the distance.

"Sensei Daisuke, the medical sennin and myself only had one option and two demons to take care of. We did what was necessary for the village." Junko said, slightly annoyed.

"What made you come here anyways? Wouldn't have been here in this shit if you would've just taken your ass home.....or just have kept your mouth closed."

"I came to these rooftops Tonight to see how the Susukino District was doing. The havoc put upon the village that night was treacherous Mazoku. I took you in, not because of your power, but for my sensei and the village."

"Is this pitiful village really worth that much to you? Look at how they judge you! Look at the disgust that fills their eyes. Is it really worth it?"

"This villages streets and people gave me a home when I had no where else to go. Taking you in, was the perfect way to repay the village. This village is my home and playground, but outside these gates is my birth place."

"People don't look at you as a fellow shinobi, but as one of hells demons puppets."

"At the end of the day though, it doesn't matter how people look at me. I'm me at the end of the day. You are apart of me. I'm my own man, you don't make me Mazoku. Upon gaining your power, I felt satisfied. I gained what I wanted, power and even knowledge. But, without wisdom, all of its useless."

Junko closed his eyes for a brief moment and sighed. Being a Jinchuuriki was a handful, dealing with the villagers was an even bigger handful. It was a surprise that Junko hadn't gotten pissed. His control and aspect on life had changed greatly. Shaking his head a bit, Junko slightly smiled to himself. Speaking once more, but this time, directed to the young girl.

"Interesting, what do you have their? Never seen it before." Junko said, asking about the magnificent rock in her hand.

"Sensei Daisuke, the medical sennin and myself only had one option and two demons to take care of. We did what was necessary for the village.
"

There was an audible tone of annoyance in his words. And yet, Hoshitsu heard something else in there. A crestfallen note, like a sigh of sorrow that slipped the tongue. He had heard this note before, out of his own mouth even. The demon man held pain inside him. With anger Hoshitsu thought 'yeah, it really must suck to have a demon in you, but its nolike you're gonna get my pitty, Frea-' he couldn't finish his thought. What was once anger had turned to empathy. ' What the hell kind of right does someone like me have to judge someone for being a freak? Not like I'm much better'.

Hoshitsu thought back to the mans words. ' Only two options huh? Well I think I would have remembered a gate to the demon world being torn open, and that pile of rubble doesn't have a seal'. ' So where did he?' It was in that moment that Hoshitsu realized why that sad tone had been in the demon mans voice. This man sacrificed part of his soul to seal away a demon, and to save the village. He took that responsibility on, and Hoshitsu had looked down on him. ' I've got this all wrong.'

"You say you had to seal it away? Then forgive my anger. I had no idea that you took on a curse to help this village. And for that I apologize. I can only imagine what it must be like to be looked down on by the very people you helped save. And I dont want to be a part of that kind of hate. Not where there's plenty of other legitimate things to focus my rage on."

Hoshitsu walked over to the man and offered his hand " Junko was it? Again I'm sorry for my outburst, it's been a crazy time since I joined the academy. Still dont know what to make of things." As he spoke, his hand faltered and drooped for a moment before hoshitsu reacted and straightened it again. The nerve damage from the bolt of lightning had apparently set in. It wasn't too great, but it was enough to have him unsure of his right arms stability.

' maybe I should have let him look at my arm'
(Ooc: hey, i cant find the correct grey that junko uses for speaking. sorry for the way it looks when i quote things you've said

"Interesting, what do you have their? Never seen it before" Junko Said about Yukiko's stone
she would have to agree, the light tonight really enhanced the glitter from the stone.
she looked up at the man "well its just a stone.. a pretty one but still just a stone I like it though."

Yukiko changed her practise from locking the stone to her hand to expelling the stone..
making it float up and Down from her now horizontal hand.
this Little change in concentration naturally invited to further talk and Hoshitsu took the initiative, speaking to Junko

Still dont know what to make of things."

Once Again Yukiko was impressed Hoshitsu really had the knowledge to notice when he was wrong, and the guts to admit it.
it had been the same at the class earlier...
Yukiko thought about the lightning she had sent through him..
'I hope it was not too bad, but as he said before he knew to handle a few bumps and bruises' she thought
and without knowing her free hand had reached up to her face to one of the areas she had been hit with the steam.
the stone landed on her hand, and she woke back up from her thought strain, and begun to accelerate the push on the stone making it fly higher,
small glitters fell from the stone into her hand and Down to the street.
and a somewhat distorted smile found its way to her face.

Looking at Yukiko, it was something about her, something that seemed familiar. Junko couldn't place an exact finger on it though.

"What's with you?"

"It's something about her, like I seen her before!"

"Yea, you seen her earlier."

"Yea, but, but, Dammit! But, it's as if.."

"Hehehe.."

"Ugh, why do I even talk to you?"

"She looks like that Keiji thing."

"That's it! She does look like that Keiji thing! Wait Dumbass, Keiji is a person! Damn."

"Clearly, I gives no fucks."

"Ugh, whatever."

Watching as Yukiko displayed her chakra control, Junko could clearly see the resemblance. Within moments, Hoshitsu spoke.

"You say you had to seal it away? Then forgive my anger. I had no idea that you took on a curse to help this village. And for that I apologize. The young lad seemed sincere as he offered his hand. His arm twitched, it was obvious the injury had taken a toll on his nervous system. <B>"It's alright, I'm a big boy. I took on the situation knowing the risk of being looked at differently. In the end, I'm happy, that's all that matters. I balance myself between the light and dark, constantly through meditation." Junko said before jumping down, landing on his two feet with a thud. Shaking Hoshitsu's hand, Junko nodded.

"Now, how about that shoulder of yours?" Junko said, waving a few hand signs. Within moments, his left hand would set a blazing green illumination, brightening the entire alley way. Still aware of kioku, Junko made sure he wouldn't move too fast, he probably still had his doubts. "How about you Yukiko? How's the injuries? And I must say, you remind me of a fellow med-nin I know. Keiji-San." Junko said, awaiting the response of the youngsters.

"Now, how about that shoulder of yours
?"
Junkos' hand burst to life with a familiar looking green glow. 'Thats that med nin hand thing. Mom used to use it whenever The old man kicked me too hard'. He relaxed and moved his shoulder towards Junkos touch. A warm feeling spread from the point where the bolt had hit and moved down the anterior portion of Hoshitsus' arm. The dull stinging pain that he had been trying to hide away subsided. ' I dont know why I never bothered to look into this technique. It's such a handy jutsu'. He moved away and worked his shoulder out in attempt to test his movement. Not only was the pain and loss of motion gone, but he felt just a tad stronger than usual.

" Wow, you're pretty skilled at that. My arm feels great!"

"How about you Yukiko? How's the injuries? And I must say, you remind me of a fellow med-nin I know. Keiji-San." Hoshitsu wondered who this Keiji person was. The way Junko said it, this person must be someone important. His thoughts were quickly lost as he noticed Yukiko in the fading light of Junko's glowing hand. As The med-nin moved from Hoshitsu, The boy saw the reddened skin on the side of Yukikos' face. ' Did I really Get her that bad? Damn... I really need to restrain myself sometimes'. He let his eyes fall to the ground below the roof he was sitting on. It was hard for him to control his temper, and even harder to restrain the power that anger bestowed. ' I've gotten too used to fighting with the old man, and training with targets. Neither of those things seem to feel any pain, so I usually dont hold back'. He reached for another cigarette, but decided against it. It seemed that present company might not approve of it. He felt alienated once more, remembering that these people were essentially strangers. He was overcome for a moment. ' This life had made me so callous and angry. I cant keep going like this. But do I really know any other way?' He paused for a moment before speaking up.

" It's getting pretty late, I should probably head back towards my house. Thanks for the company everyone, and Junko, Yukiko, "Hoshitsu said, looking in their general direction, " I'm sorry" With that he bowed slightly and calmly made his way down the ally towards the main road. He walked slowly, and halfway down, he pulled out a cigarette.

" Maybe I'll have better luck with people tomorrow" He said quietly to himself as he lit up his smoke and took a drag. Playing well with others wasn't exactly Hoshitsus' strong point. Though his odd demeanor and strange sense of respect would lead one to believe otherwise for a moment. But sadly, these moments were fleeting. " Last thing I needed to do was stick around for my part of the Q and A " he muttered " No sense in bringing up my story".
