Ziren found himself once again in Ancient Forest. It was night outside. He figured this would be a good time to train. Just as much as anytime. But he heard there were certain monsters here. The Chigokai wonders if these things are as bad as the creatures he fought in Water.

He was fighting the very man that had killed his parents. And then the radios happened. Music came from them. And hordes of monster had came out. A temporary truce between both combatants to just survive for the moment. He has killed so much monsters, that he was basically covered in their strange blood.

Back to the present, the Chigokai grabbed his own head as a headache ensued. The next thing he knows, there was a blood flow near him. Instinctively he drawn forth blood from his right hand, which turned into a very sharp red sword, Crimson, and turned to face his aggressor, only to find a very surprised bear. The bear backed up, kept it's distance, but stayed in the area.

Ziren turned away, keep listening to the bear's blood flow, and listening for other blood flows. He kept his blood sword out. Today, he wore his normal clothing, left arm, metal arm. Permanently bloodified eyes, with blood swirling, with no irises.

Tezuka was wondering around the Forest so he could get ingredients to make a very good steak for her daughter Yuuna. As he was wondering in his normal clothes wearing a Black blazer and white shirt while wearing his gloves to save his hands from getting dirty of blood. As Tezuka was walking to get out of the forest, he saw a person standing there with his guard up. When Tezuka saw his face, he found his face similar to one of his comrades. He was holding a Crimson blood sword in his hand.

As Tezuka was started walking towards him and said, "Hello there buddy, you can let your guard down, also put that sword down, I'm just here to hunt a bear so I can make a good dish for my daughter. So what are you doing here." Tezuka noticed that his eyes are all bloodied and his one arm is of metal. now Tezuka know that he isn't one of his comrades in arms but someone else as he takes the initiative and introduces himself "I'm name is Tezuka, nice to meet ya! so what is your name buddy." As Tezuka waits for him to respond to him.

Maru placed a sealing Talisman on one of the trees, his Youkai Jeez was holding a stack of the flimsy paper that were personally blessed by the friendly neighborhood monks of the village to ward off evil Youkai with a special seal that Maru placed on the Talisman that made it so any Youkai that had his natural energy would be able to leave the forest while any Youkai without his energy would be trapped until he came to either free them for accidentally trapping some academy student or banish the ones he considered evil. Since Maru had learned the sage art he was able to transform into a full Youkai due to the demonic blood and the cursed natural energy from Lord Ena. He was even able to mock other youkai animal species, one that he learned from old man Umashi was a turtle which he was actually able to transform into a Kappa. Though he could pretty much transform into a full demon, to a Kappa, to succubus, to his regular self he still considered himself a monster hunter.

Jeez, The Candy Youkai​

As night fell Maru ended up having to turn on the mask flashlight he had installed in his mask so he could see Jeez looked up at the masked rogue then began jumping trying to get her mother's attention despite Maru still not being able to make heads or tails of what the creature was saying. 'KIKKY! KIKKY!” the youkai yelled in a high pitched voice, Maru tried ignoring the thing but jeez was pretty instant on getting him to notice her so she puffed out her white cheeks, taking in as much air that she could then let a loud as hell earsplitting yell loose. ’KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIKKY! KIKKYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!” Maru seemed calm as he placed another tag on the tree, he turned around to look at the youkai a vein popping on his forehead. “What. The. Actual FUCK! Do you want you useless, short ass, cavity carrying, sugar munching parasite!” Maru yelled at the pink youkai even though it didn't really understand his human tongue neither, all it knew was that it got Maru's attention. ’Ehh! Ehhhhh!’ she stuck out her blue tongue in the direction two chakra pressures that she felt and with Maru being very attuned with his sage abilities he could sense it too. There could be two things.. a critter or some people who are out here again with the monsters.

“Common jeez let's go check it out.” He said setting another stack of Talismans in the Youkai's arms that was stacked so high that it covered her face as she held it. Maru began to run to where he was sensing the chakra, it wasn't hot and dark so he assumed that it was just a couple of shinobi out here. When he came to the clearing instead of finding a couple of kids or that run away adopted kid he found a couple of guys. Both he didn't recognize. Maru's youkai waddled her way to Maru then accidentally bumped into his leg due to her not being able to see because the huge stack of papers in her small hands. It kinda looked like a toddler carrying a huge stack of paperwork, Maru didn't really like people in the ancient forest especially at night because of the monsters and these guys look like they were about to battle. Maru worked pretty hard putting those sealing tags up and a battle could end up having a blind spot in his anti youkai barrier. “Aye!” Maru walked to the men flashing his light at both the men. “You guys aren't supposed to be out here, time to go dudes.” Maru clapped his hands to assert his point.

Ziren had heard the blood flow of someone nearing him. Turning, to face this new blood flow, he can see that it is a man. Purple hair, kind of a get up. He let his blood sword be absorbed back into him as he didn't really want to scare the civilian.

"Training. And I go by Ziren. Chigokai Ziren." Not even a second later, he could hear what sounds like screaming. He can't really make out the words, but he was picking up one blood flow coming from that general direction.

Soon, the third blood flow revealed itself. A young man wearing a mask. Along with... Whatever that is. But he can only guess that it is a spirit, a demon, or an angelic entity due to it having no blood flow. But also noticing a small bit of darkness resonating about it, thanks to his dark sage powers, he can assume that it is a demon. It seemed pretty tame though, not really striking him as something to terrorize towns and whatnot.

The young man then said they should not be here. "Because of the monsters here? Don't worry, I'll be able to know if something is near me just by listening to its blood flow. I'll keep my ears open to pick up any threats nearby." Speaking of which, he noticed that the bear that was nearby was slowly making its way away from the trio. He let it go, since it wasn't really threatening any of them.

He then turned back to the masked young man. "What do they call you? Still new around these parts and my wife said it'd be good for me to go around and meet new people."

As that person standing in front of Tezuka introduces himself as Chigako Ziren, then Tezuka heard another person voice coming this way, as he came and said to leave his place while clapping as he stated a reason about it because there are wild creatures and monsters wandering around. After hearing his thoughts or whatsoever he said, Tezuka replied to him, "Well no need for you to get worried about us, we both are retired shinobi's, I guess so and I might ask you about what are you doing here at this place in a time like this kid or man?"

Ziren said the same thing to that person, Tezuka did and then he asked him about his name and told him that he's new here and his wife told him to make friends, Then Tezuka said, "Well that's the same for me to Ziren, my wife said that I should make some new friends."


Then Tezuka sensed a chakra coming towards them, from the entrance of the forest, that chakra was a little bit similar to Tezuka but he didn't clearly remember the chakra pattern, that person was jumping through the forest using tree branches, unlike Tezuka who entered by simply walking around for hunting. As the Trio faced upward to see who was that, but the person already came down and was sitting on a stone near that place, as that person said, "Hey dad, What are you doing here? Mom is worried about you and is calling you back home, also said that you should stop this hunt job at this late time." Tezuka remembered that voice, it was of her daughter Naoki, then he faced towards Ziren and the other guy and said, "Guys, that's my daughter Naoki. well as you can see, she's a Kitsune." Then Tezuka turned his face back to Naoki and told her, "Hey Naoki, can't you see I finally found some friends, so I will be coming late home tonight. Tell your mother about it." Then Naoki replied to Tezuka, "Well no worries dad, I will be waiting here for a while for you to come." as she replied to Tezuka but he wanted her to go back to their house because Tezuka wanted to fetch a drink with his new friends but now he felt that it would be impossible.

He didn't really doubt their ability in protecting themselves from the hell spawns of this forest, but it was his talisman seals he was worried about. The rouge had been a bit on edge since Godzilla came to visit them then killed that poor chubby kid and somehow made Maikeru, his favorite student, along with the brown haired bitch that he still didn't know go nuts and stabbed each other. These seals seemed to be working with keeping monsters inside of the forest but the problem was that people were doing stupid things with his charms. Students were using them for target practice, that Adoption kid had took a lot of his charms down thinking it was litter, and some people were smart then replace a few of his charms with pictures of the foxy nine-tails model pictures to distract him for hours! “Okay not doubting you but you see I have these charms all around the forest and don't want any critters getting out to hunt for people.” Maru explained. “We were having these weird monkey things kidnapping women for sacrifices and the whole dinosaur incident got us monster hunters on edge. These charms make a invisible barrier to keep the critters in the forest and if people (Aka you) go around the forest fighting getting knocked into trees messing with them that's more ground the monsters would cover. Then another woman would be kidnapped or some kid then used as monster patty's.”

The other man asked him what he may be doing here then even called him a kid like he was a child. “Well old guy I'm putting these weird seal on these trees to draw all the monsters to the center of the forest then blow them all up when they get to a certain point.” He shrugged, his Youkai holding all of Maru's charms peeked her candy shaped head from around the stack of talismans to look at the two men that she didn't know before looking up at Maru. ’Kikky, wfs as qiojq di qsd kifs uwjty eiij?” she whined, her stomach rumbled a bit then began drooling rainbow colored saliva. The rogue sighed then pulled out a decent sized bag of sugar out from underneath his mask, he was about to open it to just pour it into the Youkai's mouth but Jeez hopped upon to take the bag into her mouth which Maru quickly let go of before he got bitten. The Youkai with the bag of sugar in her mouth one moment ended up gobbling down the whole thing bag and all. Maru looked at the youkai, realizing he hadn't introduced himself he decided to strike a quick pose.

“Who am I you ask.” Maru said, then put is hands on his hips and began his introduction. “I am the watcher in the shades. From the stars we came, to the stars we shall conquer. Alone I shall stand, alone I shall prosper. Out of darkness I bring light, and always in for a glorious fight. Yamaru… otherwise known as Maru Princess of Heart and Protector of Love. Owner of the ultimate weapon Kawaii, Musket of Heart and Guide of Light.“ Maru stuck a pose before finishing his awesome sounding introduction. “Kashima! Our golden rule is to remain defiant and free! With the fire of our hearts, we shall always succeed!” He exclaimed. Finally getting through with his introduction he heard another person, then groaned. It's bad enough that two strangers were in the forest, but now there was a little girl too! What's with these people and coming to this death trap! They really need to change this Forest name to something more scary, something like The Forest Of Death or The Woods Of Doom. Something to let people know there's critters out here.

Maru was again about to tell the people to get lost but when he saw what the man's daughter was the rouge became a whole different person. Now women were his weakness but girls with animal ears he just couldn't resist. Call it some weird floof fetish. “Well hellllooooooo cutie!~♥” Maru said to the woman, instinctively getting on one knee like he was about to propose then placed his hand on his chest. “Why, do you need an escort around the lovely forest, I have plenty of sealing charms to keep monsters away and I know some pretty nice areas around here too! Also if you don't mind can I touch your ears?... Pretty please?... Lots of sugar on top.” the rogue bowed while being on his knees. His Kensei spirit told him powerful beautiful women like when men bow before them and beg so that's exactly what he did. The rouge seemly didn't know that one of the men, Ziren, he actually knew! Poor guy must've forgotten about the man.

The other man said to not worry about them, that they are both retired shinobi. A small chuckle came from Ziren. "I'm not really retired. Just more like taking a break. To spend more time with family."

He listened as the other man then shifted the question back to the young man, like I'm older than you, so why are you in here, kind of thing. And the young man replied with explaining the reason as to why he was here. Putting seals everywhere in the forest to try and isolate these monsters to one spot. A pretty good idea, Ziren thought to himself. He would have definitely needed that when he was in Water. Though there would be no preparation in Water for such a caliber of a whole country infested with monsters.

The Chigokai looked at the creature by the young man's side, drooling rainbows? The young man brought out a bag of sugar, which got swallowed whole by the rainbow drooling... Thing.

And then the young man introduced himself. After he was done talking, Maru would realize there was a certain silence. Not a dangerous one, more like a person is angry but they choose to stay silent.

After a minute has passed, Ziren finally said, "Heh. Dokuso Maru. The only one that I knew to make an introduction like that. Well, he only did the princess of heart and protector of light." The Chigokai looked at Maru dead in his eyes. The blood in Ziren's eyes swirled fast. "Maru. Tell me. Have you really changed? You talk about helping people. Getting rid of these, monsters, but I remember some time ago, one of my earliest memories of you. It caused me to have a split personality. One that was feral, and hungry for blood. You have rarely done good the time that I knew you, and even when you did, it was because you were being told to do it. And another thi-" Ziren paused as he realized that Maru's attention was somewhere else. And by somewhere else he means a young Kitsune.

He had heard the girl's blood flow a while back, but ignored it when it came to having his full attention on Maru. He let out a small sigh. "Maru." Ziren simply said. "I also remembered you being a puppet. But yet, I hear your blood flow." What Ziren was getting as was pretty simple. He said was kind of suspicious of the young man now.

As Tezuka heard to Maru praising himself, he's a bit annoyed and he needs to get to his house soon or his wife will be mad on him, then he said to Maru and Ziren, "Well whatever you are Maru, but my wife will sure get angry on me if I got to house before its too long, so goodbye, for now, lets meet again sometime." Then after saying that to them, Tezuka calls Naoki, but Naoki tells him to go ahead she will be back in a little while. Tezuka sighs and starts heading towards his house, without even looking behind.

Then after Tezuka has gone out of the forest, Maru comes closer to Naoki and says hello to her and asks her if he can touch her ears, Naoki smirks a little and response to him "Hello weirdo, sorry but I don't let any stranger touch my ears." as Naoki notices that Ziren know much about this weirdo, as she simply listens to him, as he says something about puppet, then she jumps up of the rock and asks Ziren, "Hey, mister, tell me about that puppet thing you talking about to this weirdo?" as she asks him to tell him, she waits for his response. As that weirdo was stick with her and tells her about some nice places, then Naoki with curious face asks him more about those place because she wanted to visit those places.

Well he expected as much that she wouldn't allow him to touch her ears, he was fine with just staring at them really hard and think about what he would do when he touched them. He practically ignored Ziren, too swoon by his attraction to the kitsune girl that he forgot that the guy was went around. Jeez looked at Ziren, believing he was some kind of monster from how his eyes looked the Youkai began to tap her head against Maru's let since her hands were full to get his attention but Maru just moved her back with his foot so he could go back to staring at the kitsune girl. Not knowing what else to do, the youkai looked at Ziren then at Maru's leg, tilting her head to the side she nibbled into the rogues calf which caused Maru to jolt back in surprise. “What are you doing. You're not supposed to…” the rouge being snapped out of his love trance heard the part about him being a puppet then scratched his head.

He heard that he was a puppet before, perhaps that's why he didn't mind Kawaii using chakra threads on him. “Well I don't know how you know that since I haven't seen you before, but you see some guy named U- err Musashi helped me out with a new body.” He said, almost forgetting not to use Umashi's real name since he was a former Hokage. A person like that would usually be stopped to get an autograph or a photo at best… With the worst being he would be assassinated by some guy wanting to prove he could beat a former kage or sell his organs on the black market. “Basically he did some sage magic then gave me a fleshy body, but in a way I kinda am a puppet since most of the time my ghost Kawaii moves me to help me out of the way of critical attacks.” He shrugged. Honestly don't know who in the world this guy was, when he thought of the name Ziren the first thing that came to mind was that foxy wife of his walking in telling about the….

The rogue realizing who the guy was, he was the man who got abused by his kage. It's a shame he didn't know him beyond that, he wished he knew who this kage was that everyone seemed to be complaining about. Maru walked over to where Ziren was then gave the man a hug, it almost felt like a bear hug from how hard he was squeezing, probably because of all the taijustu training. “Oh I know you now you poor, red eyed, broken man. If it means anything I would've given that kage of yours a thrashing if I was in the country, plus that scary Anbu Sennin was there and there was noooooo way I was messing with him.” He said, referring to that scary gorilla of a man Sennin who was about to beat up some students in Tea Country, he said he was from leaf and not only that but he was accompanied by some other guy who kinda looked like that white haired guy he had as his Sensei one time. He figured that this guy was probably one of students who missed him that he left behind, not sure which one though but a couple of them he met missed him kind of didn't they?

The Kitsune had asked Ziren about what he meant by puppet. It was a real headache to explain, as he doesn't really know much about how Maru came to be a puppet.

"The last time I have met a Dokuso Maru, was when he was a Human puppet. Basically, of what I can understand of it, is that the only thing human, about these puppets was the fact that it held the person's spirit, or soul, in them. The Maru I knew, was a fanatic when it came to puppets. Even wanted to be one, to be able to exist and stay young forever." Ziren then stopped talking as Maru started, talking about a Musashi, helping him get a new body.

This raised his eyebrows, as he had met the man before. Of a different alias. He only figured out who he was because he had heard of the man's blood flow before. Umashi? He had met the masked Musashi twice since coming to Cloud. And it was no doubt, the blood flow was something he had recognized. And it would be apparent that he wasn't the only one living with a fake name. Could it be possible that Maru had his mind wiped? The guy seems entirely different from how Ziren had thought of Maru in the past.

Some part of Ziren wanted to doubt that this was the same Maru. But even as the younger man was talking, the Chigokai was making a mental check of all the things that hinted that this was once Dokuso Maru.

Made up intro of princess and light? Ziren does remember him doing that the last time he had met the man. Check. Talk of knowing a guy with sage powers. Ziren and Umashi literally once fought together against, none other than Maru, which Ziren has seen the previous Hokage's powers. Check. Talk of Kawaii. He does remember that being a puppet that Maru was fond of back then. Che-

Before he could react, the young man came forward and hugged him. Despite Maru's strength, Ziren was kind of used to crushing blows and whatnot. But the hug did feel a bit uncomfortable. He then started to talk about stuff, things like the Kage and thrashing him.

Ziren poofed into smoke, as Maru was now holding a small log. The Chigokai jumped down from a nearby tree and said, "It seems whatever happened, you must have hit your head hard. Though I find it weird that you know even a little bit of the situation I had with a particular Kage. Though I guess you not knowing all of your past and only knowing some of my own may be a blessing in disguise. That is, if you aren't pulling an act of not knowing a single thing about me. But I suggest if you want to continue this conversation, we should find a more secure place. Until then, call me Amaro."

The Chigokai turned around, faced away from the two. Leaf and Cloud are still allies, and it'd be best to keep his thoughts and growing resentment to the current Hokage to himself. That, and who he is entirely. Turning his face slightly to the girl, Ziren said, "I also suggest you keep this conversation to yourself. And make sure your father also knows to keep quiet. There are some people who don't understand the situation that others are in, and because of that, they might get angry, they might do things that might turn out bad in the end, even if their intentions are good. And with that, Ziren walked off, to get out of the Forest.
