Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was raining that night, the pattering of the rain masking the sound of footsteps as a lone figure wandered through the woods like a phantom in the dark. Soon enough, the village gates came into view, and he waved a hand just as two guards were about to ask questions. Then…silence. The guards stopped, almost as if dazed by some kind of mind trick. And Izura continued on his merry way, pulling the hood over his face more, concealing it from onlookers.

Ever since his fight at the gates, Kenshin has been patrolling the area. His gauntlets were ready and his senses were on point.

It was happenstance that he saw the guards seem to freeze.

The rain was heavy that night but he was here. In the shadows he saw a flicker of movement.

"You there. Stop." Kenshin would yell and in a flurry of movement was standing in front of the person.

"Passport please." Kenshin would say his face sterm water peling his bare head. The short grey hair slick with the rain stuck to his head but Kenshin continued to stare at the would be intruder.

The hooded figure pulled a crystal out from behind his cloak, before showing it to Kenshin.

“Katsura, mercenary from Tsukigakure. My apologies- I was under the impression that you used a crystal passport system like Sunagakure. They...automatically detect those things.”

The hood, along with the lower face mask concealed the courtly smile he gave to the Leaf Sennin.

“I have…..things of interest to sell to Konoha.”

The rain picked up in intensity as the sound of thunder loomed overhead.

Of course he kept watch. He was growing less patient at the fact that his sister was still missing. No news, no information was shared with him. He was growing tired of the situation, but he still tried to keep a low profile. He gained a greater capability in his stealthiness, now employing an invisibility type technique. He was now able to stand on the walls that guarded this village, and keep a closer eye then ever before.

A face he knew, one he had seen more and more often here at the gates was on patrol tonight, yet again. Perhaps it was from that situation not long ago, where someone died. Or perhaps he had a concern considering he was the one that tasked himself to share the where about of his sister. Was she due soon? It sparked some hope, yet anger as well. She might be back soon, but he seemed agitated. More so then he was at the construction site. Something was amiss.

He looked to where the man spoke, seeing a familiar face. It was the man from the bird, he came back. It seems he left the village. Maybe he would get a second chance at asking him about that bird thing of his. Though he would have to be careful. Yuu wasn't one he wanted to cross paths with while wearing this mask of his.

Kenshin would look at the crystal and squint hard. He did try to enter rather hastily. And with it being a dark and stormy night, the guards could have been confused by something they saw.

"Very well. You may enter. In the future you should have paper documentation. And maybe pick a less auspicious time to enter the village if you can help it." Kenshin would say his eyes watching the man very closely.

“Thank you sir.”

And with that, the hooded Izura entered the village, wrapping his cloak more tightly around him to counter the wind that was coming in. The weather was getting worse, making visibility more difficult. He’d find an inn for shelter, and then he’d be able to meet potential clients later.
