Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Sara was now standing at the partially recreated gates that lead to the outer stretches of the Stone Country. Watching the people hard at work to regain the fortifications that once existed. The village was still in a slight amount of turmoil, but things were gaining steam. Perhaps a pun in such a thought, though that would be left to be seen in the near future. The young girl, though invigorated at all that was being accomplished from the ground up, was still feeling a need herself to grow. Things were turning up for her at the very least. She had gained a companion within the village, that would hopefully stem to a greater role as time went on. She looked out for a man she had trained under not long before the recent happenings that, in the end, went well. She had partially forgotten some of the turbulent moments of that training, but had gained some knowledge form the lesson as a whole, which of course was the important meaning behind that training. She was trying to remember the specifics of that academy lesson this very moment, only remembering that the lesson involved the use of stealth and reading a situation for such. She remembered that she had fought a woman, though the reasons at the moment eluded her, just remembering that she was in disguise and the woman attacked her, and she responded with force that turned the situation into a positive, though that she remembered as a horrible moment at the time. Perhaps it was the current situation that had turned her judgement of that situation into one of nonchalant mediocrity. She remembered how she felt sorry for what she had done, and a wish to forfeit or rather endanger the mission and lesson by doing such. Perhaps it was a good thing that she went through that event. A lesson unintended learned, and one that stayed with her.

But she couldn't remember the why. Why had she attacked the woman, and why was the situation so bad. She looked out over the village, hoping to see him soon enough roll on up. She was just so much happier to be given the opportunity to stretch her legs and see things outside of the village. Things were getting better in the village, yes, but it was still quite the drain on her. The sights, smells, and overall dreary feeling at the end of most days were starting to wear her thin. She still didn't have a home at the time, living day to day unsure where she was going to sleep or what she was going to eat. Outside, things were a little different she felt. Sara had money saved up from missions prior to what had happened, finding it in the ruins of her home. But money was of little importance for the majority of the village. What importance it did play were for those that wished to take advantage of the dire situation towards an end game that was against the growth and rebounding of the village. And seeing that day to day was adding to her ill contempt feelings. This venture was much needed, and would be toughly enjoyed by her. Where ever it was that she was going to exactly.

All she knew about the venture she was going on was that it was going to leave the Stone Country, a first for her. She had gone to many places that most would never visit within the country, but it was still within the country. To see what lied outside of the borders of what she knew as her home country was an exciting prospect to her. It was the main reason she wanted to become a shinobi for. The knowledge of being a shinobi, and that leaving to see other countries which had there own ninja villages, was quite dangerous was beyond her understanding, or perhaps her cares. The wish to see the world, and that which occurred and lived within, outside, and beyond her home was boundlessly enticing to the young, energetic, and adventurous girl. This was plainly obvious to anyone whom cast a gaze at the girl, an occasional bounding boundless look and movement exploding from her tiny body. She couldn't wait to leave the village behind.

Re: An Attempt to Regain That Which Was Lost[Exiting Village

The sun was already high and he knew he told her he’d make it to the port sooner, but there was no such thing as being prepared enough for a journey such as this. As Sara stood in waiting from her traveling partner to arrive, she would soon hear the sound of feet racing towards her, and her familiar comrade appeared on the horizon. It was Jomei, who was looking a little bit differently than the ninja Sara was expecting. “Hey, Sara” he said with a heavy breath. “Sorry I’m late, I didn’t expect it to take so long for me to get here.” Anxiously, Jomei offered a rushed apology. Adapting to his recent change meant taking easy on the web-slinging, which meant a terrible session of making his way from the heights of Maruishi all to the way to the keep on foot. Any common man could waste a full day attempting such a hike. Newly-promoted to Chuunin, Jomei had also grown into a new uniform, and a sleek flack jacket that set the style. He wore a pale gray color scheme, with a hint of clay red. While his new costume update seemed appealing, it wouldn’t take long to notice a subtle return to his two-armed form. The spider-ninja had become a bit less spidery, all of a sudden. But he wasn’t entirely out his true form, as he eagerly wore his camera strapped around his neck, ready to observe and document the many wonders they were destined to encounter.

“Are you ready to do this? I can’t believe the day has finally come, and we’re the ones to do it. Then again, I suppose the village doesn’t have many ninja to spare for missions like this.” As the two earth-kin began their trek to the docks where they’d find a sea-worthy vessel, Jomei speculated. “I bet we can find a freighter or one of the Stone Armada frigates that can drop us off in Kumo, and from there, borrow a ship use it to sail down the coast.” The mission these young ninja were chosen for was one with a major stake in the future of their people. A geological survey operation, where Jomei has been tasked with cataloging any significant geological shifts that could have provoked the Basilisk disaster.

Re: An Attempt to Regain That Which Was Lost[Exiting Village

She had been waiting around for a while, seeing Jomei's figure in every person in the distance. Eventually Sara waded to a nearby shop for refreshments, keeping an eye on every person passing by. Eventually Jomei made it to the port, packed to the brim with stuff for the trip. She saw him looking around and exited the shop as he turned, then called out. They headed towards each other as Jomei apologized. "No problem, no rush. I just can't wait to take off." She looked him over, seeing what looked to be rather new dudes for the event. She was still in the similar clothing that she was always in. They were quite traditional, yet fitting properly enough to allow plenty of movement. Her clothing served many purposes, as it could be seen swaying with each of her movements almost seeming to hide them partially. She looked over the rest of his stuff, thinking he might be over packed a little for the event. She packed quite a bit as well, being warned to pack for very cold temperatures, and also for warm temps as well. Sara wasn't entirely sure where they were going to be heading, leaving it to her imagination along the trip.

Jomei seemed to have all the information about what was going to be happening, spilling the beans. They were going to take a ship to Kumo, and travel around quite a bit. "Kumo? As in the Lightning country? Wow!" Jomei was leading the way as they started to ask a few captains about any ships heading to Kumogakure. It didn't take that long before someone lead them to a Stone frigate that was escorting a freighter. Stone, though in the disrepair it was, still had to keep appearances up. And lucky for them at that.
