Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kamaru sealed the large envelope and handed it to the courier. The man looked at the package unknowing the document inside or the reason for Kamaru’s tired expression. With a sigh Kamaru sipped the cold cup of coffee on his desk. He knew it was mental but it tasted slightly burnt even though it wasn’t. Hopefully that was enough of an initial update to get people to get off his back from another branch. There wasn’t that much to tell and in truth he wondered if it really should be in his branch’s scope even.

Initial analysis of the scene and interviews from the witness let them know on the surface very little for a reason why or who was behind the attack. While the act may not have shown any tactical or strategic placement using it as an example of was to come was a possibility to more valuable targets. Although ensuring the general safety on a day to day basis lay on the Main branch to monitor they didn’t have the man power to watch the entire city waiting for a suspicious person or package to show up. The threat was indeed real but the reasoning behind it currently was inconclusive. From the mining company consultants the method and actual effects of the attack where revealed. It wasn’t based on analyzing chakra or using large computers to do the work like Kamaru imagined use to be done in Leaf City. It was strictly done through math. The initial charge was a parcel probably on the table placed strategically in between the major support inner walls of the building. It was thought under their opinion that the initial charge set off enough heat to ignite secondary charges on multiple load bearing locations, enough to literally blow most of the roof off the building. The second louder sound of explosions from the area were the multiple charges going off in sync from the line of reasoning being stated.

Why the explosions happened in the middle of the day versus at night when no one was around wasn’t something the consultants couldn’t answer really. It was in truth outside the scope of things they knew about. This was why Kamaru had doubts about it being random, but thankfully due to the consultants they had a line on possible suppliers for components to do a job of this size. For the most part it wasn’t really a detailed report since there were a lot of unknowns and possible leads to track. Unfortunately the leads were few so they seemed pretty important. Kamaru didn’t have a lot of faith that they’d find a lot of fruit dropping from shaking trees but considering the situation he’d figure shaking every tree and waiting for something to drop was their best option right now. Kamaru just wished he had better options to act on.
Kamaru was pretty sure whoever wanted the report wouldn’t be satisfied with it but there was a point of contact for him if further information would be requested as they were discovered in the investigation. Realizing the time Kamaru frowned, he had planned on visiting one of the survivors today during his interviews but someone else had gotten to it before him and he hadn’t gotten a chance to ask about her mental state from the interviewer that had talked to her. Tossing out his cold coffee Kamaru made plans to see about stopping in the following day unannounced. Kamaru watched the coffee as it went down the small sink’s drain. It may have been mental the taste of burnt coffee, he wondered how it had affected the young girl with dreams of singing… Had it burned away her dream as well like Kamaru’s taste for coffee?
