Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

"What do you mean I cant go in?" Okibi demanded of the well dressed man standing in front of the ornate golden doors that opened up to the establishment she wanted to venture into. She pointed a half eaten banana at him, the loose material of her outfit swaying with the movement. "Do you know who I am?"

Of course, Okibi didnt actually expect him to know who she was. Dressed up in the ridiculous outfit she had on, she didnt expect anyone would know who she was. But, she'd woken up that morning feeling just a little bit theatrical, so when she'd found the complex costume sitting in her closet, just begging to be worn, she'd decided to adorn herself and head out for a 'night on the town'. Mostly, she wanted to see what kind of . . . trouble . . . she could cause with such an outfit.

When she'd spotted the Diamondback Gentleman's Club, she'd known exactly what kind of trouble she wanted to cause. It was with a coy smile that she'd thought out her plan of attack, and then approached the men in tuxedos guarding the doors.

The man she currently had her banana pointed at looked uncomfortable. He looked at her down the line of her fruit bearing arm, licking his lips which suddenly seemed to be chapped. His arms were raised in a placating fashion, trying to ward off her ire. Inside, Okibi laughed with amusement. He would never know that she was just playing the role of an agitated female.

The other guard however didnt seem as quelled by her. In fact, he looked interested and irritated at the same time as he looked her up and down with a gaze that Okibi practically felt rove over her body.

"This is a Gentleman's Club miss. You are obviously not a gentleman, so we can only assume you do not have a membership here." He crossed his arms and cocked his head to the side, giving her a smile that was much more slimy than it was friendly. "In fact, dressed like that, I thought you were one of the dancers." He laughed at his own joke, and his fellow guardsman joined him, though the other seemed much less enthusiastic.

Okibi glowered at the cocky guard out of the corner of her eye. Usually, people found them to be unsettling because of her red sclera, like the guard she was pointing her banana at, but apparently the cocky one didnt find them so. Within an instant, Okibi went from threatening one man to the other, standing toe to toe with Mr. Smartass and pressing her banana up under his chin as though it were a threatening weapon. She bore her new fangs at him, and the effect that it all created - her stark white hair, her devil red eyes, her sharp claws and teeth and the shifty otherworldly outfit - made her look like quite the demoness.

"Are you insinuating something . . . sir?" She asked, her voice dripping with sugary syrup, though her face expressed only fire.

Tonight was the night to put on the Ritz, make himself the highlight of the night, to prove once and for all that he was brighter than the lights of the town. But to do that required infiltration; basically, he was going clubbin'.

Problem was, he needed to be smooth, slick, casually cool; he already HAD all that (not), but he needed to dress the part. He didn't like the idea of blending in, he wanted to be bright! It took some creative use of jutsu, a few alterations, and a whole lot of screw ups; but one of his usual outfits were...spiced up. He'd taken a sleeved button up shirt that was a touch too small for him and turned it into a vest of blue, having darkened the color a bit with a couple flashes of plasma, loosened the hems of the thing a bit to have it settle better then used a needle of shadow to sew it up faster and more precise than he could have by hand.

His pants got a make over, going from wrinkled to sharp and pressed looking and had a slightly faded color considering he took a bit of wind and "shaved" off a bit of the problem spots with a couple wind jutsu. His green shirt? Well, he cannibalized a couple of them and turned it into a long sleeve with buttons at the cuffs, once again abusing his shadow needle to do the hemming and adjustments. All of it came together great, except for he did it all standing still, using his focus and control to get the effects.

When would the abuse of power stop? NEVAH!

That had taken him most of the day, and put him out on the streets with his bright attire and slicked back pepper hair around evening. He felt dazzling, and he rightly should have! His onyx eyes glittered in the lights, reflecting small stars of different color light; while normally the fact that his eyes had no obvious iris, pupil, or sclera to speak of would have creeped most out, this was a ninja village! It only creeped out the civilians that had no idea what a demon descendent could look like. Besides, they were more paying attention to his outfit and smooth dancing while he shuffled his way happily through the classy district intending to see if he could con his way into a club.

On his way through, he eyed a fancily dressed woman with a banana holding up a man in a suit. He stopped his dancing and his normal grin widened to the point where it took up most of his face, the genuine smile adding a touch of creepiness to the solid black eyes while he sauntered on up, his dancing looking a touch like he was swaggering about. "Gyahahah! Sorry I missed the party, hope ya weren't waiting too long? Gentlemen, if you would please?" The young man sounded quite happy, his hair being salt and peppered like a man in his forties, his wide smile and solid black eyes; he hardly LOOKED fifteen; especially with that eccentric outfit on.

He rolled his hands around to the sides, a motion for them to let them into the club. "Of course, if you intend to hold up my first date then...well...I might take offense to a good night ruined." Their shadows all pooled together and large red eyes and a gaping, mandibled maw started to rise up from between all four of them, issuing a deep, guttural bellow that sounded as though it were coming from a massive war horn. Naturally, it would turn back into inert shadow should they step aside; but if they kept their shadows right where they stood a massive black nightmarish beetle would come roaring up and start to go out of control. All of it done while the young ninja had a delightful smile on his face.

There was so much wrong with this kid.

Okibi was about to shove her banana down the cocky guards throat when a burst of laughter startled her from behind. She looked over her shoulder and raised an eyebrow at the short boy wearing a flashy outfit. Her banana arm lowered and she turned to look at the boy completely, thrown for just a second. What was this kid trying to do?

And then he mentioned a 'first date' and Okibi caught on quickly enough. She turned back around, smiling smugly at the two men in tuxedos. "You heard my honey bear. Let us in or your manager is going to hear about this." She said as she flipped her hair and placed a clawed hand on her hip. As she shifted, her skin became more visible in the light, showcasing the many scars littered across the expanse of her body from the neck down. The light bounced off her right arm in an odd way, and if someone looked close enough, they would realize the skin of that arm was not like the rest of her body; it didnt fold or crease like normal skin would.

The two men looked at Okibi and the boy with differing expressions. The one still looked uncomfortable, like he wanted to be anywhere else just then. But the cocky guard looked like he didnt believe a word they said. He snarled at them audibly as he reached behind him and pulled out twin swords that Okibi was almost certain hadnt been there before. "Get outta here you brats before I call the head of security to come deal with you. And believe me, he's not a nice guy like me."

That made Okibi scoff. Nice guy, him? Yah right.

Just then, the shadows between the three of them suddenly seemed to coalesce into something that was certainly not a mere shadow. A gaping maw snapped at them, and they all jumped back in surprise (and fear). Thankfully, their moving seemed to dispel whatever that had been. Okibi landed next to the flashy kid, and gave him a look out of the corner of her eye. Had he done that?

Not giving the guards a moment to try to lay blame or accusations, Okibi slipped her arm into the crook of the boys and whirled, dragging him off - because that what Okibi did, she dragged people. "Your managers will hear about this!" She shouted back. "I intend to write a very strongly worded letter!"

And then she ducked into a (surprisingly clean) alley, pulling the boy with her. She pressed up against the wall and peeked around the corner. The guards no longer seemed concerned with what just happened, good.

She turned to the boy and looked him over. He seemed young; how he thought he was going to get into the club that way, she didnt know. But, he was a shinobi, that she knew; she saw it in the way he held himself and the smell that came off his person. She looked past him, down the alley and watched as a young man in a pristine waiters outfit tossed a small bag into a nearby dumpster. A grin eased onto her face as she watched him go back into the door he came from.

"You're a ninja, arent you Shorty? Transform into a girl! I have an idea." There wasnt even any need for talk about what she was about to do. She wanted to see what was in that club, and she was pretty sure the boy felt the same way. Now if he just did what she said, they could get things underway.

Holy crap, this girl was smooth! After just a second she caught onto the ploy; granted Mr. McGrouch wasn't buying it even still. The guy was imposing sure, but he spent most of his life being knocked around by his sister who could put him through walls; the hell could a guy with swords really do when there was already a nightmare rising out of all of their shadows?

Well, they could get the crap scared outta them! "Gyahahahah~ You should see you faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaieeee!" Being dragged away suddenly wasn't...precisely the plan of action but it worked! Getting tossed against the wall roughly, albeit not as rough as being man handled by his hardass older sibling. "Gyahah! That was fun, should do that again some time." His jet black eyes stared at the sharply dressed partner in crime, though where he was looking was really not possible to tell but still the feeling of him looking at her was still there. "I'm not shorty, I'm Ashura. Suna's most dazzling light." No ego, nah, not at all. And wait, what? "Uh, hey didn't know you were into that kinda thing..." Chuckling nervously, the young ninja rubbed the back of his head wondering if this lady really was that kinda person.

Not really wanting to argue considering the mess they just got out of thanks to both of their slightly premeditated antics, Ashura figured why the hell not go along for another gag?!

Slapping his hands together with blinding speed, there was a blast of multi-colored sparks that rained down and fizzled upon the ground before flickering out, leaving Ashura standing there looking...well...like his sister.

He/she was closer to six feet at this point, lean with great muscular tone on her/his arms and shoulders, instead of his original classy outfit he wore something that he remembered seeing on a woman he'd met before and escorted to her place after he'd crashed her coach. The black dress showed off a toned leg, lots of his/her meager bust, shoulder, and some of the back; the high heels made her/his calf muscles tight and ripple with each slight turn of the hips. Long black hair with meager silvery streaks mixed in, her skin was darker than her younger brother's the slight green tint to it just a little more obvious than his as well; and only her irises were jet black and reflecting motes of light. "How's this?" Puffing his/her chest, and setting the well kept hands on her hips. The question was: now what?

Okibi peeked around the corner again as the boy introduced himself. His cockyness - much more adorable than that guard's was - made her grin. Until he made a comment about her being 'into that kinda thing'. She turned and gave him a raised eyebrow look, but said nothing as he did what she sort-of-asked and transformed into a girl. She did, however, note the nervousness in his chuckle.

A tall - a couple inches taller than herself - lean and, unfortunately, not very well endowed. Oh well, she was still pretty at least! Still believable. Okibi put a hand to her chin as she walked a circle around the boy turned woman, giving him/her a critical once over with her eyes. "Not bad." She murmured, her voice sounding husky as a smile creeped up onto her face. She stopped just next to the boy/woman and ran her left clawed hand down his/her back, stopping just above his/her rear end. She stood up on her tip toes and whispered in his/her ear. "Not ideal, but not bad." Then she gave his/her backside a sharp swat before backing away, guffawing like it was absolutely the funniest joke ever.

After regaining her self control, Okibi stood back and let out a deep and satisfied sigh, wiping away tears of mirth that'd pooled at the corners of her red and pink eyes. "Don't worry Shorty, Im not into that kinda thing. But you really shouldnt set yourself up like that. I'm Okibi, nice to meet you. Neat eyes and skin by the way." She said with a grin, clapping him on the shoulder in a friendly manner before turning away and marching down the alley towards the door she'd seen the waiter vanish into earlier.

"I assumed you wanted to see the inside of this club as much as I did. If youre up for it, I have a plan for getting us inside." She stopped at the door and looked over her shoulder at the boy/woman. Her grin turned catty, the light of a ploy in her eyes. "You game?"

It was a supremely strange feeling being in, well, his sister's skin. The young ninja looked down at himself and felt as though he'd captured her decently well; but yet at the same time it was weird as hell having lumps of extra tissue on his chest! His sister was strong despite how he felt transformed into her; it gave him no extra insight as to how the hell he always managed to send him on a line drive down the road or out the window with the swing of her practice blade. He was distracted enough with his own thoughts that he didn't quite notice that he was being circled until the claw ran down the revealed bit of back. "Wh-hoa!" The whisper and slap to the backside made him jump and stagger slightly in the heels the transformed youth was wearing. "My sister would kill me if she saw this right now, so...Yeah I'm game!" Letting out a throaty laugh, he strode towards Okibi with as much confidence as possible while trying not to fall considering how much his hips swung in this form, accentuated all the more with the heels. He was glad this was a transformation else it would be extremely uncomfortable. "Thanks, by the way, they run in the family." Grinning just as widely as he normally did made her eyes sparkle, pretty well literally, as though there were black facets in her iris that brightened up with the natural smile. Not something that was commonly seen on the REAL sister's face.

He could explain later, but for the time being, there were shenanigans to pull! And while he wasn't sure what was in the club they were going to have loads of fun finding out! Ashura had seen flashing lights, it called to him, he wanted to get in there and challenge them, to prove that he could be brighter and more attractive than they were, Okibi was playing a different game but they both had the same goal: fun and excitement. This could be the start of a beautiful partnership~

Grinning, Okibi turned away from Ashura and tried the handle on the door. It jiggled, but was obviously locked from the inside. Now frowning, Okibi got to her knees and closed one eye as she started to use her claws to pick the lock. It took her a few minutes, and more than once she nearly lost her short temper, but her victory cheer made up for it when she finally got the door unlocked. She edged it open and peeked inside, sniffing as she did so. It didnt smell like anyone was in the vicinity; a good thing because it would have sucked to get caught so early in their ploy. Okibi ducked into the door and waved Ashura in, letting the door ease shut behind them.

They were in a long, well lit hallway, carpeted by what looked like a fairly expensive, fairly fancy length of rug. Elaborate sconces decorated the walls, washing the hallway in a soft golden light. The high polish of the dark wood walls practically through their reflections right back at them, and at first Okibi jumped, thinking she was wrong and someone else had been in the hall with them. How often did the employees have to polish all that wood to keep it that shiny, she wondered. High class indeed.

A fixture on a nearby wall caught Okibi's attention. She scurried over to it and worked on getting the small screws off the face plate. It was a bunch of light switches, which was just a little odd because most of the villages establishments used chakra crystals to light their accommodations. Not that it was any skin off her nose; it was one more card in their favor. Once the covering was off and the wires and metal skeleton was exposed, Okibi waved at Ashura, telling him to step back a little, as she did so herself. Now, at this point, Okibi didnt know much of anything about her little partner in crime, but what she did know was that electricity could be dangerous if you didnt know how to handle it. She was playing it safe and assuming he didnt. He laid her right hand over the switches, and pumped a blast of lightning chakra into the wires. The energy zapped the electrical work, frying it all, and in moments they were in complete darkness.

Making a face at the smell of melting plastic-like-stuff, Okibi peeled off the remains of the flesh-sleeve covering her mechanical right arm and let it fall to the floor. Guess those things didnt stand up to electricity very well. "Let's get moving. Someone's bound to notice that the lights are out down here pretty soon."

With that, she followed her nose down the hallway and around a menagerie of twists and turns and corners. Somehow, they'd gotten quite far without running into anybody. She came to a very sudden stop, however, when she happened upon a door that smelled promising. She held a hand out to stop Ashura, sniffing at the door. With a grin, she opened the door and waved Ashura in, "Youth before beauty." She said with mock chivalry, ironic because she was the girl and he was the boy (by nature). Once Ashura would make his way in, she would follow him quietly and shut the door softly.

What greeted them was a long room with racks and racks of outfits and costumes. No one else was inside - she'd checked for any scents - so they had free reign for the moment. Okibi placed her hands on her hips, cocking her head thoughtfully. "That snobby guard did say that I looked like one of the dancers . . ." She turned her gleaming eyes on her cohort. "I say we go give them a show." And with that, she dove into the maze of materials.

(Go ahead and find yourself a costume! Anything will do! And remember, visual aids are a man's best friend. 8D)

While Okibi did the stealthy ninja thing, Ashura kept his/her eye open for anyone that would decide to spot them; they were essentially doing -something- wrong, he just didn't know what rules and regulations they were breaking right now. He wasn't sure if it really mattered since they weren't going to do much harm anyway! His eyes flickered about almost erratically, taking in the entire setting all at once and processing the information as though his brain were just as hyperactive as he normally acted, but since right now he had to act like his sister something about him had to be somewhat spastic or he'd go nuts!

The triumphant squee that his partner let out told him they must be all set to go; apparently finger nails could pick locks, who knew! Stepping in quickly behind Okibi, Ashura closed the door behind him/her and looked around the corridor with a grin, this was a bit easy now wasn't it? Only the front seemed to be the most heavily attended that few security staff had to even patrol through here. ”Now, if you top picking a door with your fingernails, I think you might just be the coolest ever.” His eyes wandered to the polished floor as his partner twitched, lifting an eyebrow at the hazy reflections of them both; he could so totally mess with her but with how twitchy she already seemed to be from their escapade in it would probably be a bad idea to make her, or his own, reflection shadow do something like a salsa dance or some other silly shit.

Following her over to a panel that she quickly undid (with her nails again, the hell!) his head was all in a hum. He could feel the electrical current in the wires behind the switches that she revealed and grinned like a loon; which made his sister's face seem a whole lot more creepier than his own face when grinning like that. ”Aw, you're getting to have all the fun with things.” Pouting slightly, he/she stepped away from the panel and let Okibi do her thing (again), except this time she simply overcharged and shorted out the wires; something easily done by most any ninja, except that some would have been shocked or possibly exploded ALL OF THE THINGS. Whistling quietly as the lights around them went kaput, his/her hands flipped through a short couple hand seals before an itty-bitty little flame came to life, kinda like a lighter or a small candle; at least it allowed him to see just a little thanks to the shiny floor! ”Not sure why you'd put out the lights, since it means that someone's gonna come this way. Could've continued on without..eeeh whatevar!” It didn't actually matter at all. There must be some method in her madness that he wasn't picking up on, so no point in trying to debate it. Just go with the flow~!

Of course he suddenly stopped short when her hand was planted into his stomach, almost bowling them both through the door Okibi suddenly stopped at. Giving a slight 'urph!' as he kept himself from falling over due to the high heels and sudden application of stopping force. All he could do was wait until his partner waved him through the door. ”If it's youth before beauty, you should probably go first. My sister is twenty~” With a snicker he just decided they should both just pile through the door and so they did, and Okibi shut the door behind them both regardless.

Holy crap. DOOD there was some really skimpy stuff in here! Where the hell was that cup and tassel supposed to go?! Eying the outfits as his partner dived into them, the young ninja scratched the back of his neck and looked down at the dress he/she was wearing. It was kinda part of the transformation...

”So...ah...Not sure how to go about this!” Plucking through some of the outfits on the rack, honestly some of them were classy like the dress he was wearing, others left almost nothing to imagination when he held them up to his transformed body; only to put them back all the more confused than when they started. ”Also...This dress is part of the transformation.” Which meant that he would have to cancel his jutsu and repeat the process with some other dress, which would STILL be a part of the transformation; or he had to take a stab at female anatomy and put a dress on. Which, he had no flippin' clue how his sister looked under clothing aside from her arms and such like that. Didn't exactly spend much time peeping, had better things to do; like dance about the village or pull hilarious antics. This whole thing was a little out of his field.

Sure, he was up for giving a show, but the young ninja figured that their 'shows' were entirely different. ”Oh! Oh! If you're gonna dance I can do some awesome things! Like...uh...light shows! AND AND! Strategically placed shadow. It's AWESOME!” It sounded totally fricken weird despite coming out of his own mouth since it was his sister's voice, but hey Ashura couldn't help himself. He just had no idea what Okibi was intending with the two of them wearing one of these outfits...

As Okibi rifle through the racks of costumes, she listened with half an ear to Ashura's commentary. Apparently he was having trouble with his transformation. Rolling her eyes slightly, Okibi picked out something that made her eyes light up and started to undress in the back rows. "I did say that the security guy thought I looked like one of the dancers, but I never said anything about doing any dancing." She chimed as she shimmied her way into her outfit.

When she found her way back to Ashura she made a face. The kid hadnt changed yet. "Just undo the transformation, then redo it without the dress so you can pick something out." She said matter of factly as she started to wind her hair up on her head. If she was really going to go under cover, she would have to get rid of her long white hair, it was too recognizable. She then sauntered over to a shelf covered in wigs and picked out a hefty purplish one. She fixed it onto her head and then spun around on her heel, making the skirt of her costume flair out with a flourish. "What do you think? Will I pass for a waitress?" She asked with a grin. She'd picked out a lively orange waitress outfit that fit her almost perfectly.

Okibi then returned to the racks and started to look for something for Ashura to wear. "I figure if Im dressed as the help, I'll draw less attention to myself." A thought occurred to her and she looked over her shoulder with a grin. "Maybe we can mess around with those security guys."
