"Father!? Why?"
Isamu's eyes shot opened to reveal nothing but darkness. He was awake for the first time, for what felt like, a very long time. Yet he has no idea of where he was or how he had gotten there. He could feel no air, nor could he hear anything. In fact, the air itself tasted stale or dull. Isamu's heart began to race as he realized that he must be underground. His hands grasped the edged of his burial mound trying to find an escape. He felt.....sand, hard, chakra infused sand. His chakra infused sand. In his moment of confusion he allowed his self to panic. That panic began to reside as he started to understand that he had surrounded his self in a tomb of sand, but the answer to why and the details behind that are gone from his memory. As Isamu reached out with his hand, as he always does when controlling the element of sand, he noticed that more sand replaced that which he moved out of the way. He continued to do this for awhile, a lot longer than what he at first thought was necessary. How far under the sand was he, and why did he decide that his own sand was not enough protection from what ever or who ever it was that he hid from. There was no doubt in Isamu's mind that is what he had done, it was uncharacteristic for him but it was rational. More so than the alternative possibility, no the alternative was an impossible chance that it could not possibly had been an occurrence at all. Isamu's senses were blasted by the sudden impact as he broke the surface. His ears screamed as the wind swept by him, his face and body was ravished by sand as it collided with him, and his eyes were raped by the sun. It took Isamu only a moment to take control of the situation, well except for the raping that his eyes still had to endure. At least, the wind and sand could be controlled by his powers over the elements. Now to get a heading.
Isamu glared at the sun through squinted eyes, and decided that the village hidden in the Sand was in the direction he was facing. One new found step after another he headed towards the village. Everyone of Isamu's muscles began to ache as he walked. He knew then, that his sleep, must have been a long deep sleep. What he did remember was that Kiri was no longer inhabitable and that he had already been let into Sand once. What he did not know, was anything after that. That, is exactly what Isamu was going to find out.
