Unfolding the little paper she had tucked away in her pocket, Shizuka read the address that’s been given to her. This place had to be it. No, this wasn’t the Chuunins home, but according to the old toad behind one of the counters at the Annex this would be where she could find Suika today. Hopefully, the older girl wasn’t too busy with her work. Shizuka would hate to interrupt but the afternoon was running out and if she didn’t do it today she might be too busy to poke Suika tomorrow. Besides, if there was a group of younger students still present, she could wait for them to go home. Or Suika could let them leave early, the young Senju could bet that they would love that gesture.
Silently wandering through the hall she found the room that’s been described to her. Well, the door rather than the room. Its location was pretty clear so she hoped that the woman hadn’t messed up. Knocking on it just to find out someone else inside would be slightly weird. Mentally preparing herself for such a situation she spent a couple of long seconds standing in the hall before someone appeared in the distance. Remaining her for a lot longer would come across as odd so she brought up her fist to the door and allowed two clean thuds to echo through the fairly quiet building.
“Senju Shizuka here, do I have the permission to come in?”
Unsure if she was meant to come in or the warning was a fair one, Shizuka carefully opened the door to pop her head inside. Strands of dark chocolate colored hair swung back and forth while she turned a little to see if it was indeed Suika who was inside. When her pair of jade-green eyes found their target, she smiled brightly.
“Hi! I hope that I’m not disturbing you?”
The disarming smile was supposed to save her in case of her approach being too informal. It was unclear, really, if this was her trying to contact a superior or just wanting to talk to Suika like a.. a what? A normal person?
Ranks were always such a bother. And with few guidelines for situations outside of classes and missions, Shizuka found herself slightly lost. That’s why her sliding inside of the room looked more like a cat exploring unknown territory than a student entering a teacher’s office.
“Do you have some time to talk a little? Hmm, I have a couple of questions for you.”
