A few days ago, Kiri had arrived at Crater City thanks to the tip of the helpful traveling physician he met. He was given small map to the said city, as well as a warning of how dangerous this place could be, being dubbed the city of thieves. As such, Kiri was very much cautious, knowing some lingering eyes weren’t so subtle. But he would show no signs of being scared, though not as intimidating either. It wouldn’t be helpful for his part if he were to attract unwanted attention from the people in this city. But he did manage to ask for help to find the courier shop.
Inside the old wooden building he would smell the scent of bird poo, among other things. And being showed the way to the aviary, he would no longer be surprised. He would pay both the guide and the shopkeeper their due and made for his small note to be delivered. Not one to compromise his identity, Kiri would simply write:
“I’m sorry, I got lost along the way. Got separated from Junko-sensei and now in Fire Country”
He would address it to the room number of Osu’s tiny office space in the Hospital in Kumogakure, which would make it seem like he was simply an unfortunate lad who got lost and was hoping to hear word from someone in the hospital, perhaps a family member.
The said pigeon, strapped with a tiny leather case along the leg, would contain the small parchment and had since then been on flight. It was, however, for the sake of the safety of the business, trained to make a round towards the village gates of Konoha to get its seal of approval before it would fly off to another country.
