Isamu's time in Sand has been great so far. On his first day he met Miroku who offered him his first job as a mercenary. Unfortunately, Miroku's offer has been just that, an offer so far. Isamu trusted that he would make good on it eventually, After all, he was backed by Akuma, a monstrous person, if you could call him a person. Still his ideology was hard to pass up. Not to mention Isamu stayed under their roof and slept with one of their clan members. Needless to say, Isamu was going to accept the job offer whenever it came.
For now, Isamu had been coming outside the village and enjoying the sun. Being stuck underground in a cavern messed with Isamu's nerves. He has yet come to cope with the unique surrounding that was the Sand village. He was originally from Mist, and although he may not be able to gain the climate and weather in Sunagakure he once had in Kirigakure, he can at least enjoy some fresh air. Rather, just air, as most of the time the sand polluted the air on the surface and was from fresh. Isamu would constantly have to utilize his sand manipulation to make the sand part ways in the sky so Isamu could see and breath clearly.
Today, Isamu had hiked several miles from the village gates to enjoy his new personal sport Sand Surfing. Unfortunately, he was alone as it has yet to take a solid hold in Sunagakure, regardless of Isamu's efforts to push it into the spotlight. In reality all Isamu had ever did was run up to strangers all day asking them if they would like to go sand surfing. Then explaining the rules, details, and finer points of the art to anyone who would listen. It was very seldom that any one ever did. Still Isamu was determined, and thought more people were be willing to try it if they saw what it really was.
So Isamu "borrowed" an image recorded and set it up five hundred feet away from a large sand dune. Isamu checked it twice to make sure, it would record the best image possible. After messing with it for several moments, Isamu was pleased with it and walked off in the opposite direction. Once on top of the sand dune, he looked down at device to make sure he was at the right angle. Satisfied, he poured chakra into his feet and launched into the air.
He begin his descent by doing a 36o twist while flipping his momentum backwards, which he landed it smoothly but no on the ground where he started. He was now standing on his "surf board" that was launching him down towards the device at the bottom of the sand dune. Isamu's surf board, was in fact just sand that he manipulated into the form of a surf board. Technically, Isamu was simply pushing his self down the sand dune by controlling his chakra, however, to the untrained eye it would resemble regular surfing like back in Kirigakrue. Isamu stood at the end of his board backwards with just his toes hanging onto the board while his body was parallel with the sand below him. His hands brushed through the sand wave on his right side, and he caused a sand geyser to erupt to force him back on his board where he managed to stand upright and facing front again.
Realizing his ride was about to end he decided to do something big for the finale. Isamu grabbed the bottom of his surf board and threw it into the air, while simultaneously riding the sand wave under his feet. He then jumped into the air after his surf board where he does a double front flip grab the board and places it under his feet and then does an inverted 900 twist with a back side heel flip. So how does Isamu end this awesome trick? On his head, no less.
Isamu lands heads first into the sand, he forgot that he done an inverted 900 instead of a regular 900, and where he thought he was plummeting to the ground feet first to land, he was instead landing head first. Isamu managed to free his self from the life ending event and spit out the sand that weaved its way down his wind pipe.
"Gnarly wipe out!" Isamu said to no one. He walked over to the device and found out he forgot to hit the record button. "Bummer..."
