Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Yuki was waiting in the training ground, it had been while since she had see the two boys that she was going to train today, and it would be the first time that they would be training with her when she wasn't wearing her ANBU gear. It has been a whole and she was eager to see what they had learnt in their time training without her.

Yuki was wearing her training clothes, the fabric from her long sleeves caught the wind and it blow through the flat area. They hung loosely off her shoulders showing the black body glove that covered the test if her body, she kept her crimson hair tied back in a braid that hung over her shoulder. It was strange that she was training them and not wearing her usual ANBU gear, it was strange but a pleasant change nonetheless.

The light of the sun was casting deep orange on the dusk sky, the cool of the evening was setting it going the air a little chill. Not enough for it to be cold, but enough for you to know that the heat of the summer was passing and succumbing to the harsh grasp if winter. She looked into the sky enjoying the view as she waited for the boys. She wasn't sure if that was even the right thing to call them anymore, she shrugged she guessed to her they would always be kid's.

Megu arrived in the training ground to meet their mysterious trainer. The day was almost over and the dusk sun filtered through the trees of the training ground. Megu pulled his hoodie around him slightly, his hands shoved in the front pocket to keep warm.He noticed a woman stood alone, looking up at the sky. She was wearing a black training garb that held tightly to her body like a glove, making Megu's heard beat that little bit faster. Although he wasn't exactly sure who she was, the crimson hair pulled back combined with her clothes certainly made her look like an assassin. If pushed Megu would guess it was the same Anbu who he'd been trained by before. The same Anbu who insisted on bringing clones to a sword fight. He walked over to her and couldn't really think of what to say. Instead he just stood next to her, enjoying the serenity and the colours of the setting sun.

Megu stared up at the setting sun, realising stupidly that although the sun was going down it was still far too bright. He shielded his eyes with a hand and instead looked over towards the horizon. Evening had always been his favourite part of the day by far, something about the how the setting sun bathed everything with an orange glow. Ever since he'd realised that his chakra seemed attuned to fire he'd been experimenting with heat. At first he was happy to create fire bals the size of his head, but soon he changed tact and instead made small, yet furocious globes that left a burning afterimage in his gaze if he ever dared to look even out of the corner of his eye at them. He'd then moved onto focusing the flames into a spout, adding air until the flames almost threatened to push him back a little. He'd even tried it on a lamb shank once but all that happened was a layer of charcoal with the meat still tender underneath. After that he just stuck to grills, ovens and frying pans.

Time passed and the two stood, a comfortable silence passing between them.

Is this part of the lesson? Am I supposed to be saying something? Doing something?

He furrowed his brows slightly as he looked over at his tutor.

"Excuse me, Miss? Are we starting soon?"

He stretched his arms, pulling his sleeves up as he moved on to stretching his legs. It wasn't that he was impatient, but it looked like no others would be joining them and he had a shift to go to. Balancing work and ninja-life had taken its toll on the young boy slightly.

If I can finally graduate I may even be able to support myself one day, give up serving once and for all.

As much as he wished with all his heart he could run real missions he knew that he would never leave Suo until he'd be able to support their whole family. Until that point sacrificing a little sleep was worth the chance to chase his dreams.

He once more turned to look up at the sky, warmth spreading through him as he activated his chakra, awaiting his sensei's response.
