Takeshi would sigh before allowing a grin emerge on his lips as he received a congratulations from Kazuki due to his promotion to Konohagakure’s ANBU Sennin position. ”Well that is the question worth a million yen isn’t it at this point, but I want to say that there are two reasons and the bottom of both is my primary goal as should be with any team that is sent out.” the Uchiha would note before looking again to the pictures that depicted the two hidden villages that were held more dear to the Senju Overlord than the rest of them. Reaper’s former pupil would resume eye to eye contact and he would begin explaining his motives, but only after clearing his throat. ”Kazuki, Leaf comes here in the hopes of a peace treaty being formed between the two great villages to help and develop a natural respect and treaty that will be beneficial to both countries and a trade agreement that will see prosperity be raised between two nations. That is why I am the one that offers a non-aggressive pact. Until a meeting time can be arranged and the paperwork decided and signed by both villages, Leaf and Sand will help each other and build that trust until that point. Also with the assistance of both countries, this offers new doors to open to us. Is this an agreement that your Kazekage can get behind and understand? This non-aggressive pact will last as long as the foundation for everyone to work with.”
Takeshi would pause momentarily while leaning back his chair. He was probably collecting his thoughts. It wouldn’t take much time before he continued sharing that idea. ”The initial peace treaty will involve medical agreement between Leaf and Sand for aid when the other nation requires it. A transfer program for those that wish to spend time in the villages without risk of prosecution and the ability to share the cultures and learn. Finally, a shinobi military alliance, the two villages will offer aid when required to help each other out. I presume merchant shipping and trade agreements are not of a surprise on this matter but will generate income between the two villages.”
The White Wolf would raise his hand to prevent the Sennin from Leaf to continue his explanation. He wanted to say something before the other guy could continue. ”Takahashi Sousuke, the Kazekage, offered me and my clan shelter. I know he is a man of peace, which is why he allowed me to settle in this village. I cannot speak for him, but I am positively certain he would not be against signing such a treaty. However, you must be aware that Sunagakure is in a state of war against the Wind Daimyo, a man vying to conquer the entire Wind Country and possibly the entire world. By allying yourself with us, you could be gaining a very powerful enemy in him. Another Daimyo after the Fire one.”[glow] the Shadow Sword would alert him. He and the Hokage needed to be aware of the implications an alliance with Sand could mean for Leaf. Was it beneficial for both villages to become partners? Certainly so, but it would work both ways and, in the long run, it could harm Konoha as well. ”I need to understand one other thing as well. Leaf will never be an enemy to me, I will always be a friend and ally to it, but the same cannot be said of this village. I do not run nor own it. I have made it abundantly clear to the Kazekage, when I first joined Sunagakure, that I would never move against Konoha, unless I was first attacked by them. My stance still stands and will be until I am forced to change it.”[glow] the Suna Sennin would clarify. He was trying to pass the point that he was a former Leaf shinobi and his ties with Konoha were still strong, even if he no longer wore their banner and was, instead, wearing a different one. As a Leaf born Senju, he would be forever tied to that village, regardless of his current allegiances.
Takeshi would bring a black book from inside his vest. The Death Court Lord immediately recognized it for what it was. A bingo book, a collection of files from ninjas that had gone rogue. He fondly remembered when he had one himself, his days as a Leaf ANBU had happened a long time ago. He would watch as the Sennin of Leaf would flick pages until he reached the one he was after. Offering the book, which was swiftly accepted, the Uchiha began explaining the other reason for his presence there, while the Deep Court Hybrid read the file on Baba. ”Second reason, Baba a missing ninja from leaf, I am ordered to bring him in one way or another. Now, we came here to see if you have any information on this man. If he had entered inside of the gates of been spotted around the land. I would appreciate your support in this matter on this one. If he has not come to this land Kazuki. I would like to inform you that as of now, a warrant for his death it out from Leaf. Help build this relationship if you find him, stop him from plaguing this land and make sure he doesn’t run. We both know we have seen this done before or been the one doing it, I request the same treatment for Baba. An example must be made for those that have been going missing lately. Those are two orders Lord Umashi has given me.”
Kazuki would shake his head. ”There have been no sightings of such individual inside the borders of the Wind Country nor he has tried to enter Sunagakure. Of that I can assure you. I will issue a warning to all shinobi on gate duty to stop this man if he tries to enter our village, but any other action, or punishment in your words, will not be executed until the Kazekage makes a decision on how to proceed with it. At least until the agreement between Leaf and Sand is formed or not.” the Senju Overlord would tell him. Two pieces of information also stood out. And Reaper was going to pick up them separately. He would lean back on his chair while intertwining his fingers. ”Umashi is Kage then. It seems my decision before the exodus of Leaf still stands. I do not think people are aware, but Umashi is only Kage because I made him so. I was the last Sennin Konohagakure had when it was invaded by the Fire Daimyo. I could have been Kage but made him it instead.” he would declare, sharing an information that few people possessed before addressing the other interesting part from his former pupil’s speech. ”You have spoken about making an example out of missing nins. I agree with that, but what am I to Leaf, if not a missing nin? Are you here to make an example out of me Takeshi? I can assure you, it will not go well for you, your companions or Konoha as a whole.” That was a warning as direct as it could be. The Uchiha’s answer would bring light into a murky subject. Kazuki had never returned to Leaf, in theory he would have to be considered a rogue shinobi, but the current ANBU Sennin certainly had an answer for that question.
