The carriage ran at a rather quick pace through the countryside of Fire, but those inside felt nothing of the jolts and bumps due to the impeccable suspension system. Instead Maki was going over their trade agreement made with Sousuke and hoping it would hold firm with the new Kazekage. He had little doubt it would, Sousuke appeared an honorable man and would likely do what he could to make sure it stuck. Natural resources, something Konoha had more than enough of, for manufactured goods. And separate from that entirely was the food and other necessities for refugees the Isaki clan was sending on its own.



”Productive trip. But now the real fun begins explaining to the clan heads what charity means.” He smiles at his wife as the carriage arrives in sight of the gates. It was time to be home.

Passing from the fast brown and tan landscape of Suna into the lush greenery of Fire Country was like a balm to her soul. She smiled as grasslands gave way to wooded areas on their trip. When Maki spoke, Hoshirei smiled and nodded in agreement. "It will be interesting, that is for sure. Thankfully, some of the most hard headed aren't as much of a problem any more," she said with a grin. As much as she still got a little twitchy when people attempted to sneak up on her, she was still proud that she was able to defend herself so completely.
