Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

#3 - Hired by a local group to cause trouble for an opposing group

Junan had spent a few days in Sand by now and had found himself a place to stay, somewhere shady enough that he wouldn't be checked on, but not so shady that he might be rudely interrupted in the middle of his work. He had killed several people since being here and one of their skins now sat in a tub of liquid infused with chakra. Given enough time the chakra would be inside the cells themselves to such an extent that the skin would act and feel like real skin.

However this time he had been forced to build a puppet skeleton behind it which was different from his normal ones. This one was going to have a tail, and as such it was going to require much more work than he would normally put in.

On his first day he had been able to find out just how the humanoids with animalistic features felt, and so he wanted this one to feel how he assumed the male versions would feel.

Still, having bought the resources he'd needed, spent the last 36 hours preparing them with the help of a few puppets he had ended up not being in as much wealth as he felt he needed to be. Certainly the money he had stolen from the merchant on the first day had paid for the accommodation, but after all his expenses he needed a top up. Especially before he went into the darker realm of this village and started causing trouble like he intended to.

As everything was time sensitive, and he had time to spare, he went into a location which he had found out about while killing whoever he had killed. There was a gang headquarters a few blocks away, in which were several partially shinobi trained, other reasonable ranked shinobi who had retired, and a couple from other areas. Junan didn't really care, he was in Sand, there were no controls on him here.

So he walked in.

The fight that ensued amused him as he played with his opponents as he desired. Forcing some inside a dome while he beat up those outside it, leaving none dead, but many injured as the man who Junan took to be their leader cried out asking what Junan wanted, while pointing at him and ordering his men to take him down.

Junan answered that he wanted work.

And so the fight ended shortly after, an agreement negotiated, and Junan would receive payment if he would go to another headquarters of another gang nearby and do exactly as he had done here, but kill some people.

Walking out of the building Junan had taken half of the payment ahead of time. He walked down the streets, noting that he was being followed by a couple of the groups men, probably to make sure that he didn't double cross them or do something else like effectively do exactly as he had just done but to this group. The thought had occurred to him of course, but he couldn't be bothered, he just needed some money, he didn't need to create ongoing problems.

As he arrived he took a look at the corrugated iron gates, the symbols above it, the keep out sign, the "dog kills" sign, and he realized something. This was a gang of Inuzuka...

Almost excited he kicked the door down. This would give him ample fur, and perhaps a variety of colours to use for his new creation!

Bending over, he clasped his hands before him, Here puppy puppy puppy! he cooed through the now open gate as growling and scampered padded feet made their whereabouts clear. Around the corner came many dogs and Junan didn't give a damn. The first lept at him, only to feel unusual as he threw his arm down the dogs throat, grabbed its heart and squeezed. The convulsion of its death was immediate, and he threw the carcass away.

The other dogs which were at the front also lunged, Junan's other hand swiped across his front and the bottom of his fist slammed into first one, then the other, sending them sprawling back into the dirt. Having thrown away the first dog now he stood there and looked at the other dozen growling beasts which circled him. His smile fixed on his face he saw one with white fur.

Oh you're perfect. I choose you. There was a slight look of confusion in the eyes of the beasts, they couldn't smell him. It wasn't they they couldn't smell him but they couldn't smell human, or fear, or any other emotion. He simply was a mixture of wood and chemicals, some flesh, but no breath, no oils, not the human smell that normally came from humans.

The Inuzuka who owned them showed up at the door, one of them with a terrorfied look on his face, his eyes immediately going to where the dead dog lay, and a gutteral roar issued forth from him. His handseals were obvious and Junan watched as he morphed slightly, his nails getting longer, his teeth visibly sharper. The figure impacted on Junan and then Junan erupted into shadow, only to immediately reappear in the same space his hand now around the mans throat, his feet on the back of the mans legs as Junan faced away from him.

I know someone who would like to learn that ability. He said, his thoughts going back to Komora as he felt the crack of the mans spine breaking.

See I'm fair. He said, still encircled by the dogs and the growing number of Inuzuka

I didn't let him live after killing his spirit animal, or whatever you people call these things~ In that moment chaos erupted, Junan had just made fun of the very foundation of their clan. They were a proud people, and after a solid thirty minutes of fighting Junan's puppets, while Junan sat on a rooftop nearby watching, they were all dead, or mostly dead... Junan didn't care enough to finish them off.

Jumping down Junan took the pelt of the white dog. He'd been very careful to keep it from being damaged during the fight, it'd even cost his puppets some damage with how he'd done that. But it would be worth it.

Walking off the pair who had followed him gave him a small bag of money.

Tell your boss that I'll find him when I need more.

Junan had a puppet to finish.
