Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Meka stayed behind Shindo a little hiding from others even though kitsune said that she did not have to hide or be scared but this was new to her so she did not want to, she wanted to stay close to shindo. She listened to everyone else's introduction. then she looks up at shindo and shrugs "I don't know shindo..." She was still scared of the other students but she did want to be their friends.

Ro sat back down, loudly, with an audible huff. The usage of Chan didn't even bother him, as his young crossdressing ways were not that far behind him. But... How could he be wrong in his answer? Taking away the fact that Ro had never put a bandaid on someone other than himself and the books he tended to read dealt more with how to get the gore than how to fix it- Ro still thought he should have been correct. "Hmph, Know-it all's," he mumbled. "I said it better."

But his response was too quiet for anyone but those near him like the forest girl and Cina-chan to hear and as the teacher moved on and asked the next question. Everyone seemed tense and unsure, while Ro just grinned. Perfect. He totally knew this one, just like he'd known the last one. Ro had read books with people dying in them and it always went: 1) dramatically cry for the loved one and assume they will not make it. 2) tell them to wake up preferably by shouting and banging on their chest- which was also the first step of step three. 3) perform CPR until they revive or until they reveal they were just pretending to be unconscious so the rescuer would try to 'kiss' them. Yeah that had to be it, always do CPR. Ro was so smart he surprised himself sometimes. These were definitely the deductive skills even intelligence ninja were jealous of.

"CPR!" Ro yelled after everyone else remained quiet. though he didn't stand up again he did shoot his hand into the air with the same sure-of-himself grin and thumbs-up. "You give them CPR anyways to be safe. And 'cause it's the best time to sneak in a kiss."

Hyo felt a sudden thug on his arm. And before he could say 'position compromised', he was forcefully lassoed into the classroom. With lifted eye brows, his face indicated slight intimidation as he gazed at the proctor, all while on spaghetti legs! She seemed nice enough, but her flamboyant red hair and apparel was a facade that the young kid knew all too well. Or maybe he was just paranoid...

Mastering himself, he requipped his observational mentality and pocketed his arms. On his way to a random seat-- in the middle of the class, his eyes flicked curiously at the other kids. Normally, he would analyze them like a scientist does with a newfound specimen-- but right now, all he could think about was filling the void that took up residence in his gut. For when hunger strikes, the faculties go to a land far away, inaccessible to the most conscious and lucid and sentient of us all.

He sat down. His silver hair was a mess, half covering an eye-- he blew a small stream of air to correct the annoyance. He looked at the talking ones, what the hell were they saying?! maybe the class was having a discussion about second order differential equations or something, he read about it in a book. He didn't seem to pay much attention, fiddling with the rocking desk in front of him. One of the legs was evidently shorter than the rest. If only he had a piece of paper to fold and reconstitute the space. Wait! There was a piece of wood protruding from his seat-- like a splinter. And whilst the class was talking, he popped himself under the desk, irrespective of everyone, and pried the splinter from his seat. It made a wooden snap kind of sound, and he continued fiddling. It gave off an aromatic lure.

“Mmh, does a splinter by any other name, not smell just as sweet?.... Or was that a rose?”, he mis-quoted, audible, but softly.

It was made from pine, the orange tinge evident of the fresh side of the piece of wood. He broke it in two, and went on to fix the rocking desk. It all sounded like a huge rat was rambling away unsupervised in a kitchen. Hopefully the speech of the other kids could drown out his little adventure, for he seemed like the type that would make quite a scene if given the opportunity. . .

Maiko smiled at the sensei, then turned her gaze to the door as another student, she recognized as Hajime from Manabu`s class, crept into the room. She sighed, then returned her attention to the teacher. She glanced to the others, intent on waiting upon their replies to the new question before answering with her own.

She watched, as Shindo asked the girl next to him what she thought was the answer, then as the loudmouth sitting near her spoke up, saying something about CPR. "CPR wouldn`t be required unless the person was having breathing troubles or had stopped breathing."She comment, directing it more at the loudmouth than at the teacher.

She tilted her head as the kid the sensei had dragged in began making noise. She sighed, and stuck her hand in the air, and did not wait to be called upon. "After checking the persons breathing and your surroundings, check for wounds of injuries on the other person. In other words, assess the damage done."She answered, moved her hand back down, and took her book out to read again, the best she could what with noise being made.

”No, as I said, Maiko had the right answer. Check your surroundings, THEN check your patients airways. If you hear breathing you move on to the next step. Can anyone tell me what that step might be?” The teacher said, and at this point, Sayomi had began to busy herself with other thoughts. She did not care about first aid, or how t perform it for that matter. She was still leaning against the back wall, fiddling with her nails instead of paying attention.

When another kids started making noise, she perked up. Noise was a good thing, lecture was a bad thing, at least in her mind. She kicked her bag over into the corner, then wound her way to the kid who had began the noise. "Oi, whatcha up to?"She said, moving to be level with the kid. She would pay no mind if the teacher reacted.

She could hear the other students announcing their answers to the question, the loudmouth Ro most of all. "CPR! You give them CPR anyways to be safe. And 'cause it's the best time to sneak in a kiss." The kid yelled. She stifled a laugh, and continued upon waiting for a response to her question to the kid, who was, what looked to be trying to fix his desk.

Shouka breathed a sigh at the teacher's reassurance. A 'close, but no' was okay. It was more than she'd expected out of a reference from a book. To her surprise, Ro's answer had been given a firm 'no' by the redhead teacher- and Shouka could have sworn from the enthusiastic way he'd answered the question that he was right. She was starting to believe him, herself.

At Kitsune-sensei's next question, an unsure silence fell over the quickly growing class. She was glad when Ro shot his hand up, breaking the long silence. For a second she'd been worried she would have to answer first, again. The boy's answer sounded suspiciously like something out of one of her aunt's weird romance books, though. Kissing someone who was about to die?

Are you sure you know about first aid stuff?” she asked quietly, wrinkling her nose. “Because I don't think you should be kissing the patient.

One answer had really seemed to catch the teacher's attention, and Shouka found her eyes gravitating to the source of it- the girl sitting next to her, who'd introduced herself as Aoki Maiko, or, by Ro's estimation, 'Forest-chan'.

She guessed the girl had experience in medicine from her ability to answer so clearly and quickly and correctly. Shouka unconsciously labelled her the class brainiac. Her second answer seemed just as comprehensive, and Shouka felt herself inclined to agree with her. Before she could introduce herself or offer a quick 'hello', though, Aoki took up a book with a cover she couldn't quite make out. Shouka figured she was not, in fact, interested in classroom conversation, and decided to leave her be for the moment. Sure she had nothing to add to the girl's answer, she waited for the next part of the lecture.

Kitsune shook her head at the answers. ”No, the answer is circulation. Check their circulation. This brings us to a mnemonic you can use to remember the steps. ABC. Airways, Breathing, Circulation. In other words. Clear the airways. Check for breathing. Make sure they’ve got a pulse.” she said before turning her attention to the two students that clearly had no interest in participating in the class and throwing two pieces of chalk with pinpoint accuracy at them. One piece was aimed right at Sayomi’s head, and the other was aimed at Hyozanryu’s back. ”Oi, you two. Pay attention or it’s detention for you guys. Don’t think that you’ll get off easily because you’re new students.” she said sternly.

She gave the first aid kit to the nearest student with the instruction to pass it around, so everyone could get a proper look at what was inside it. Then she proceeded to unfurl the second scroll she had brought, and summoned in a standard field ration kit, along with basic cooking gear that was also part of the kit. Kitsune smirked and set it up and hopped behind the desk before unpacking the various ingredients. ”It’s basic stuff you’ll be given when on a multi-day mission. So the sooner you learn how to prepare it in different ways, the better. First up, we’ll make meat buns. A fairly simple task, if you ask me.” she said and gestured to the ingredients: Ground pork, a few veggies, and a flour dough that had been vacuum sealed in a bag to preserve it.

She would never look at her 'ABC's the same way again, Shouka decided. She reached for the first aid kit as it was passed to her, and glanced over the contents. Antiseptic and bandages were among the supplies, as she'd expected, but some more unexpected tools made appearances in the kit. Tweezers (she couldn't imagine what those would be used for), scissors and soap were among them.

She moved to to pass the still open kit to Ro, when the sound of two small objects hitting something gave her a shock, rattling the medical kit and causing a roll of sterile gauze to fall and hit the ground. A quick swing of her arm stopped the other objects from tumbling along with it, but it was too late for the gauze, which had rolled along the floor and landed against Aoki Maiko's shoe.

Shouka decided that this accident was an excellent opportunity to introduce herself to the other, more knowledgeable student. She ducked under the desk, and as she did realised, too late, that she would have to get past Ro's feet to actually get to the rolled bandage. Now stuck between looking like an idiot for crouching under the desk for nothing and looking like an idiot for having to crawl under two sets of students' feet, Shouka chose the latter.

Excuse me,” she muttered, grimacing, as she lightly brushed aside the bombastic boy's legs and moved toward the source of her frustration. Shouka quickly grabbed the gauze, and was about to retreat, when a stroke of impulsive stupidity took over her.
Hey, I'm Shouka, though I guess you already know that. Well, nice to meet you anyway.” She greeted, stuck in a crawling pose that forced her to turn her neck awkwardly to look at the other student. She offered a smile that would probably be lighthearted, if not for her undignified position.

Kitsune sighed at the apparent incompetence of her students. Sure, they were just students, but deliberately not paying attention to their teacher? Not only was it rude, it also meant that they wouldn’t be receiving credit for this class, and as such would still have to do a ton of studying before getting ready for the genin exams. She looked at Shouka, the only one that seemed to be paying attention and nodded. Kitsune had made her choice. She’d end the lesson a bit earlier than intended and only Shouka would receive credit for this class. Kitsune didn’t like doing things like this, but she had to be tough on the kids. Otherwise they’d think everything from here on out would be a piece of cake.

Note to students: Life isn’t a piece of friggin’ cake. It’s tough. It’s hard. It sucks sometimes. But that’s life!

[OOC: Good job flunkies. No class credit for you. I’m not entirely sure if you still get the rewards for doing the class, but this will NOT count towards the 2 classes requirement for a genin exam. The exception to this is Shouka as she actually posted in every round.

Report here for rewards: http://www.ninpocho.com/viewtopic.php?f=80&t=41294 if you qualify.]
