Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was a cold dark night as the seasons began to change. Even in the desert the harsh sands respected the turn of the earth away from the sun, though the only real change felt by everyone was the slightly colder nights. That didn’t prevent Tama from building a heater into his shack though.

It had taken him some finagling with the local merchants but he had somehow managed to talk down a lot of the materials he needed to create a place to work on his inventions outside of his cramped room in the apartment; all on a simple allowance. It took him a few weeks to figure out how to create the shack, also as well a place to place it, but after solving the problems through his local library (aka, books), the cunning child managed to talk a man out of a street ally beside his bar. With the knowledge about carpeting he quickly absorbed the large shack that, though narrow, took up the entire ally way. For the hell of it Tama built a brick wall in front of the entrance with a special cliché loose brick that opened up the entire thing for him. In the time it took him to build the secret laboratory the boy had taken up a part time job to help push towards his funding for lab materials. It wasn’t much of a job but he did appreciate the hard work it took to keep the rundown watering hole up to shape. Lately his eyes had begun to stare at the architecture of the whole thing…

Though despite the hard work and time he had placed into the shack another problem had arisen that would draw his attentions away from the outside world. The power that his master had tapped was beginning to flow outwards through his system without his control and only a strong force of his will had managed to keep it back in place. The strength inside Tama had awakened hungry and eager for more, as if pushing him towards a victim to deprive them of a soul; if ever a time he needed Mikaboshi it was now. Yet unlike the pawn that the creature had hoped to create the highly intelligent boy decided to turn towards science and his own mind to solve the problem. It issued him a true challenge for he feared his life was hanging on to the answer to his problem. Eating only from the kitchens in the bar Tama had sequestered himself inside the laboratory otherwise, working towards a scientific cure to his ailments.

It had been nearly two weeks.

The steady hand of a child whose mind was far beyond his age lifted a beaker filled with a strange green substance. The thick liquid inside held a slight sparkle in it as the glass passed by a few over used candles that the boy used as lighting to keep the electric use minimal. Gently he placed the beaker over an iron burner and with the strike of a match set fire to the small gathering of wood beneath it. Quickly turning away his steady hand shot out and grabbed a vial of something of a thinner substance but held the color of a vivid red – his own blood. With extra care he uncorked the fresh specimen and held it close to the glass beaker as he waited patiently for the heat to activate the formula inside. The moment came quick as the fire licked under the green fluid causing the color to slowly change into a teal, then blue, then light blue in color. His practiced hand slowly began to tip his life fluids into the heated chemical substance and mix into it naturally. The liquid quickly drew to a boil once Tama’s blood entered the formula, causing the color to shift into a deep dangerous purple color.

“Oh bother,” Tama said as he quickly dropped the vial of his fluids and snatched the beaker with a dash towards the door. Kicking the bricks with a shot of his chakra to enhance the attack the fake wall exploded outwards as the young scientist threw the bottle out of his shack and into the street. Fast as possible he pulled against the wall his spare hand was still holding onto and threw himself around the corner as an explosion rocked the deep, less popular, area of Suna. Smoke and debris rolled into his laboratory as he stood up coughing, attempting to persuade the viscous fog to move along with the continuous wave of his hand. The snow blonde child walked out into the streets to survey his latest disaster of mixing his blood with foreign materials. He was dressed in unwashed, ragged looking, baggy pants and a leather vest with only a dingy shirt beneath it. Over it all he wore a singed and banged up looking lab coat and a pair of thick black goggles upon his head, scrunching up his hair and causing part of his face to look a different color than the rest.

With his ever-waving hand the boy walked up into the small crater in the street and bent down as he cleared the smoke away to search for…well anything productive. This had been his thirteenth failure in combining chemicals with his blood in the attempt to find a cure to repress his chakra some. The boy had come close in the tenth experiment when it didn’t actually explode, but the liquid when added onto a small crystal that held chakra showed that it only further enhanced the strength, and unpredictability, of his own chakra.
A door slammed open queuing the boy to look up and see his ill-tempered boss storming outside to see what the hell had just exploded outside of his bar this time; finding Tama kneeling near the crater waving away smoke and dust did not do well for this rising fury.
“Tama!” He screamed as he stomped towards the boy who had decided to turn his head back to his original curiosity, “I told you we can’t be having these damn explosions nearly every day for the past bloody week! I don’t care what the hell your doing in that damn eyesore next to my bar, I’m tired of it! Hell business was bad enough when people weren’t scared they’d get hit with some freaking bomb! Are you even paying attention?!”
Of course he wasn’t, and when the owner of the bar decided to grab the boy by his lab coat he was met with a swift chakra fueled jab to the chin that knocked him back nearly to his door; all while his eyes remained focused on his new street hole. Cursing to himself the man decided best to leave the little ninja alone and possibly talk to some authorities about his problems. Meanwhile Tama had managed to hand shuffle away enough smoke and dust to reveal a small purple crystal buried within the center. His careful hand reached into a pocket on his coat and removed a pair of tweezers and a vial. Uncorking the glass tube he picked up the crystal and placed it inside of container before rolling the cork in his hand back over the hole and smashing it down with his thumb. Satisfied with the results so far he turned and walked back into his dark work area.

'Cotton Candy' was quite the odd flavor. It was sweet, very sweet actually, but it wasnt bad. It made her tongue tingle, so used to the taste of meat and blood was she. The difference was new, and inspiring! What was odd, Okibi thought, was that what she had in her mouth was not actual cotton candy, but a flavored sucker made to taste like cotton candy. If this was so, she had to wonder just what the real thing was like...

Her pondering and aimless wandering brought her to a part of the Sietch that she had not yet visited. There were people mingling outside of a building, and when she sniffed at the air, she figure out it was one of those places people went to drink alkahall, or whatever it was called. A Bar, she recalled learning. At least that word was easy to remember.

Walking by the front door to the establishment, Okibi picked up a scent underneath the alkahall that she thought she recognized. It was there, at the back of her mind - the memory that is. It just didnt want to come to the forefront, no matter how hard she tried. Crouching down near the pavement, Okibi sniffed some more, and found herself a trail. It lead her passed the bar, and to an out of place looking brick wall between it and the establishment next door. Looking around, Okibi saw that none of the other building had such walls built beside it. How curious. Taking another whiff, Okibi followed the trail with her nose, up the wall. The scent massed around a single brick, even more curious. Rolling the lolipop around in her mouth, Okibi reached up to touch the brick, when suddenly there came a noise from behind the wall. She put her ear up to it, listening closer. It sounded like... feet... someone running?

Boom! Went the brick wall, exploding out towards her. With a small shriek, Okibi ducked down as whole bricks and broken bits came raining down on her head. One actually nicked her in the temple, and she blacked out for a second.

When she came to, she pulled herself out of the wall rubble with a groan. Her lolipop was still intact, but its white stick had been bent. Growling, Okibi looked around for the culprit of the wall explosion, and the person who caused her head to now throb. She turned just in time to see a familiar white haired boy make his way beyond the hole in the wall with something held in his hand. With an angry sneer, Okibi climbed out of the debris and stomped after the boy.

"Hey!" She yelled, talking around her lolipop. The magnitude of her own voice made her head hurt even worse, so she toned it down with a grimace, clutching the offended area. "Why you not watch what you do? You hurt Okibi's head!"

Now that she could get a closer look at him, Okibi realized why it was that his hair and scent was familiar. He was that chatter box boy from Sousuke's shy-ants talkathon at the Place of Many Books. Her anger lessening just sightly, she approached the boy and his table covered in beakers and vials. "You the talky boy." She mumbled around her sucker, looking over his shoulder at the oddities on his table top.

(I hope you dont mind how I time warped it so that it takes place after Sousuke's lecture. :p)

Such a strange occurrence to happen once started to walk back from the street crater; a girl accused him of being the cause of her injuries. Now he knew for a fact that while he was such a person that would have probably done such a thing purely in the of research he had no memories of the wild child that before him told him of his wrong doings. As such he simply blew her off and began to walk back into his lab. Progress was afoot here!
The tiny purple gem was of something unique once he entered the lab and dropped it onto a Petri dish. For one, for something that was part of an explosion the gem was cut perfectly into a small smooth ball shape, but the weight was closer to a precious metal than a gem; yet it was obviously a gem. There was still much research to be done but curiosity got the better of Tama and he reached down to touch the gem with his bare flesh. Instantly he felt the crazy raw energy that he was constantly subconsciously fighting get sucked out of him causing an acute spell of dizziness followed by a wave of nausea. The youth's knees buckled and he felt himself drop down, only able to keep himself from falling completely by reflexively removing his finger away from the purple ball and grasp the counter. A rush of power flowed back into his body as the wildly powerful chakra coil refueled itself and the feeling akin to a cool breeze on a hot day rushed his nerves. Panting a little he looked back at the gem to see it glowing softly for a few seconds before it gently released the light into the air.
Freaking Eureka. He had combined a number of chemicals with the base being his own blood and through a number of volatile explosions he had finally created something solid, extraordinarily, that would absorb his powers. Now all he had to do was find a way to set a frequency so that it would drain him so completely...perhaps he could place it in a ring and set the ring with runes and seals that could be tuned via free moving metal that locked in place with chakra...
Tama went further back into his lab to begin diving into notes on that subject, still ignoring the girl and not even stopping to think that he knew her from the class held by the Steward.

When minutes began to pass, Okibi's anger returned in quick succession as it became quite apparent that the white haired boy was ignoring her. He blew that wall out - she was pretty sure anyway - and made one of the bricks hit her in the head. And he wasnt even going to say sorry!? Of all the nerve... why she had a right mind to-

Okibi had been about ready to march back to the gaping hole in the brick wall and snatch up a piece to lob at the boys head, when he suddenly seemed to grow weak in the knees. She watched with raised eyebrows, rooted to her spot, as he crumpled, but just as quickly pulled himself back up. She noticed the way he removed his hand from something just before he was able to right himself, and saw that there was a pretty stone sitting in a dish on his table. The girls mouth formed a small 'o' around her lolipop stick and she leaned forward to try to get a better look. However, the boy snatched the dish with the stone in it and promptly walked further into the little hovel beyond the brick wall. Frowning, Okibi watched him go, ire simmering just below the surface.

Something bad might have happened, had she not then been distracted by all the beakers and vials of liquids that were left on the table. Some of them were colored brightly, and were actually rather pretty to look at. Okibi was particularly captivated by a slim glass vial that housed a shimmering red substance. Red was her favorite. Picking the glass bit up between her fingers, Okibi examined it, and sniffed at the opening on top. A harsh scent nearly put her nose on fire, and without being careful, Okibi tossed the vial back at the table, where it landed with a 'plunk' in a larger beaker that was set over a small flame. The liquid in that didnt look nearly as pretty, but with the addition of the red stinky stuff, it soon turned into a bubbling pink stew.

Rubbing at her nose, Okibi stepped closer to the table to see just what she had done. Cocking her head curiously, she lowered her head and took a very dainty whiff off the bubbling pink stuff. Her eyes widened when she learned she couldnt smell anything. The red stuff must have clogged up her nose some how. Okibi tried taking a bigger sniff, but no smells could breach the clutter in her nose. Growing a little frantic, Okibi didnt notice how closer one of her hands was getting to the flame under the pink bubbling beaker until the stinging pain hit her.

Her mouth opened wide for a yelp and out popped her purple and pink swirled sucker. She watched and held her burned hand to her chest as the lollipop fell, almost in slow motion, into the bubbling pink stuff. For a moment, all was silent.

And then the pink goo started to bubble more. Without realizing it, Okibi had hit the lever that controlled the strength of the flame, turning it on high. The goo started to swirl with purple, and it looked as though its consistency was quickly changing. Okibi took a step back as the beaker began to shake. This entire scenario was reminding her very much of her cooking attempt that left the kitchen of the Kazekage Tower in shambles not long ago. Sousuke was still mad at her about that...

BOOM! went the concoction, shattering the glass beaker and sending shards flying everywhere. Some pieces lodged in her skin, and she didnt have time to close her eyes before she was hit in the face with a cloud of dark purple smoke, littered with pretty sparkles. She coughed and hacked as the cloud got into her lungs. The smoke slowly started to clear out, and one thought was on Okibi's mind.

Why did she have such a knack for blowing things up?

Seals, silver linings, the properties of demonic runes and their influences…books with names and scrolls with notes all flew off the shelf as Tama reached up one-by-one to grab, scan, and discard as he looked for the proper writings he had made a week ago concerning the use of runes in metals. It was one of the ancient arts of craftsmanship that had long been discontinued due to the amount of chakra it was required to activate the runes translations into steel, but still held quite a great potential if the young scientist could ever fully tap into his odd powers. A deft hand reached up and grabbed a book that was marked with a silver piece of cloth hanging over the edge of the spine and brought it down to his face as he opened it with his thumb and adjusted his glasses to scan the words for key phrases.

The entire time he was doing this the girl who had all but nearly ruined the Steward’s lecture was fiddling around with the dangerous chemicals behind him, attracted to colors rather than the viscidity and temperament that Tama was. He would later find himself not surprised that the colorful red vial that she picked up was a mix of his blood and ‘pixie dust’ harvested from a cave mushroom known as a pixus that were known for lighting deeper parts that were uninhabited by the electricity the general populace used. The chemical reaction between the two was…interesting to say the least but it never lead to anything beneficial other than turning his blood into something sparkly and explosive.

Tama’s eyes were so focused into the book that he never heard the girl start to accidentally mix the chemicals laying around. The boy had found the book he was looking for and was intently reading on the nature of oppressive runes when he felt that…’sense’ that something bad was about to happen. For the briefest of moments he lifted his head and turned around to look at the horror of chemicals over-cooking before glancing back down at his book as if unphased; of course he did a double take when something in his mind snapped. His golden amber eyes went big for a moment as he tossed the book aside and attempted to move forward to knock the formula off the fire but were too late as the mass reached critical levels with the massive amounts of heat and exploded.
Now mind you this explosion was nothing in comparison to the one that was create outside but a few moments ago but it did produce a cloud of smoke that was probably very toxic to breathe in. Wasting no time Tama started to run out of his lab when his foot caught on the body of the girl who had been terrorizing his lab and fell. In a panic he turned, grabbed her shoulders, and began to drag her away from the smoke not caring at the time why he did it just that he got them both away from the smog before something terrible happened to their lungs.

Okibi didnt start when she was grabbed by the shoulders and quickly dragged out of the smoke. She was too occupied with trying to rub the sting out of her eyes. It had been so quick that she hadnt realized, but when the gooey concoction exploded, some of it had gotten into her eyes along with the smoke. She growled with pain and frustration when she was brought to a stop outside the ruined brick wall, but it quickly turned into a whimper when the stinging in her eyes wouldnt stop. She started to scratch at the outsides of them with her claws, feeling the purple and pink goo starting to congeal there.

This could go one of either two ways, she could either panic... or stay cool and try to get the stuff off her face so she could go wash her eyes or something. Now, Okibi was much more prone to impulses, and her first impulse when she couldnt free her eyes was to panic. However, this time she stamped down that urge, and continued to slowly scratch at the hardening substance. At least it wasnt covering her mouth and nose. She was already having a hard enough time breathing after inhaling that purple smoke.

Okibi hissed when one of her claws accidentally nicked the skin of her brow, slicing it open. A small trickle of blood dripped onto her sealed eyes, frustrating her as it only made the stuff slippery. Becoming well and truly vexed, and less fueled by urgency since the stinging was beginning to ebb into a dull ache, Okibi flopped down on the ground with a growl. She sniffed the air, coughing softly a few more times, and reached in the direction she smelled the white haired boy in. A part of her mind realized he was the one who pulled her out of the smoke, and was thankful, though she didnt voice it. He had, after all, been the cause of that brick smacking her in the head.

"Hey..." Okibi said, sounding reluctant as she pinched at one of his pant legs. Her mouth twisted up as if she was tasting something sour, and she might as well have been. Asking for help was not something she liked doing. "You help... please?" The last part came out so quietly, she wouldnt have been surprised if the boy hadnt heard it at all. Asking for help was hard enough, but asking nicely? Forget about it. She let go of his pants and felt around on her arms and shoulders, hissing when she came in contact with the larger shards of glass that were lodged there. She pulled at the big ones, being a little too hasty and getting her fingers cut. With a yelp, she popped the bleeding fingers into her mouth. That was just great.

Giving up, Okibi just sat there and waited for the white haired boy to do something. She hoped he would help her... because she really didnt want to sniff her way home to ask Sousuke.

All while this was happening, Okibi's fire red hair was slowly changing color. From the roots there eeked out a calm purple, sluggishly devouring the hot flames.

(EDIT: BTW! If Tama does end up helping her, dont do any magical healing things! She needs to look beat up. :9)

Tama hacked and coughed for a moment as he sat there trying to get the smoke out of his eyes. The strange color of it had yet to occur to the young scientist as an odd hue for the man-made smog but it quickly became evident as odd when he turned to look at the girl he had rescued from the explosion of gaseous chemicals. There was a glob of gunk that had managed to get into her eyes and kept them closed shut in a vice of glob engineering. She was scratching at her eyes in the attempt to remove it but was only succeeding in hurting herself, making the young boy feel bad for her until his memory decide to trigger the back flip this girl had done during their somewhat mutual class involving a Steward; also where that leap had landed. In complete reaction Tama covered his manly jewels and scooted away in fear of the only weakness anyone had ever exploited on him before.

It, of course, occurred to him that the entire incident had been but an accident and that she wasn’t attempting to cripple him before he could complete his greatest works like his sleep-deprived, paranoid, mind would have him believe. It was still hard to trust someone who had dropped their weight on your genitals before using them as a launch pad seconds later, but when she actually asked him for help Tama couldn’t help but oblige. If nothing else she would owe him for this and be permanently in his favor until he could find a use for the peanut butter making wild-child; only problem was he wasn’t sure what was in her eyes.
The scientist’s mind slowly went over the chemicals he still had out from the multiple explosions of that week and which ones he had yet to actually use. There was a vial of his blood mixed with that sparkly fungus on the counter that exploded but it wasn’t naturally volatile unless mixed with…wait was that the fluid of wolf shroom he had on constant boil to keep its properties active? It had a naturally strong effect of adrenaline modifying that was going to be part of his previous experiment in tampering with his adrenal glands…when he added just his blood the red cells died almost instantly making it poisonous for humans…

Ah crap.

Without wasting a second’s breath Tama jumped up from his semi-protective form and took a deep breath to brave the smog once more to create a sound of glass vials clinking and shattering as the youth gathered and dropped as much of his chemical set as he could grab with two arms. He waddled out of the smoke letting out his held breath before placing the chemicals as gently on the ground as he could. With gusto the boy begin to lift and hold up certain liquids to the sun light above to check for their viscid contents before finally selecting a green and yellow liquid and pouring them into a wide rimmed beaker. Holding the glass container up high he swirled the contents around for a moment to try and get them to combine with each other before adding a stabilizer; a piece of his own silvery hair. A small explosion went off inside the container but didn’t cause the glass to turn into shrapnel. Quickly moving to Obiki the scientist reached into the beaker to swirl around the contents which had become sludge like with two fingers and pulled out a large amount that he would use to rub across the girl’s eyes over the gunk that was already there.

At first nothing came of it except for a fairly terrible stink but Tama wasn’t finished either. Since the original formula that was sticking to her eyes was partly his own blood it was going to take a burst of his power to act as a second catalyst to fuse the two chemicals that now shared the space of Obiki’s face. The scientist gently raised the palm of his hand to cover her eyes and closed his own to attempt to release a bit of the constant willpower he was always using to control the raging energy inside of him subconsciously. He commanded a bit of it to reach into his palm and release into the air, causing calm and soothing warmth to caress the girl’s gunked eyes – unless of course she was part demon, then it would burn like hell. Tama wasn’t aware of it yet but the power he wielded was the rare Holy Element in its purest form, but like all elements in pure forms it was next to impossible to control unless the user was an Ancient and had that kind of strength anyways; such as his master who wielded the purest form of the Shadow Element.

The power would fuse with the two chemicals though, causing them to shrivel up and become moist that was something akin to that of eye-boogers and far easier to remove. With a shuddering release of his breath Tama opened his eyes and slowly scooted away as he felt the neglected power inside of him beginning to roll at its use. A rebellion of his energy would start soon…but now he had the Steward’s ward in his debt, so he’d call it a win.

(I am so sorry for these late replies, but the State Inspection is going on at my work and it has been HELL. ._. )

Okibi couldnt see anything as the white haired boy hurried back into his smoke filled hovel, though she could clearly hear him running. He came back out, and now it sounded like he was bringing things with him. Clinking glass sounded around her as he set them down and went about doing something that she couldnt see. She could, however, smell it. At first, it wasnt so bad. The smells were strong, but bearable. However, as time went by and the boy mixed this and that, a horrid stink suddenly assaulted her nostrils. Things were only made worse when the boy then smeared the disgusting stuff across her eyes, getting some of it very close to her nose. The smell damn near knocked her out right there. It was only by sheer will alone that she didnt fall over.

Bearing with the smell (although she did cover her nose and tried to breathe through her mouth - the smell even affected her taste buds!) Okibi was perplexed by what happened next. The boy placed his hand over her eyes, and for a moment, she thought he was putting more of that smelly stuff on her. She was about to protest angrily when a wave of soothing warmth came over her, emanating from his palm. Without her permission, the muscles in her shoulders began to relax, and her hands fell away from her nose as her mouth fell open laxly. She couldnt remember ever feeling quite so... calm.

The moment passed (perhaps too soon) and the boy was removing his hand from her face. Okibi tried to open her eyes, and found that the hardened goo had become much softer, and reached up to wipe it away. It was still gooey, but not nearly as sticky and hard as before. Slowly, she removed it bit of it, carefully scarping with her claws when she had to. When most of it was gone, only small bits remaining around her brow, she blinked and tried to correct her vision. At first, everything was blurry, and it still hurt a little. Most of the pain had disappeared when the boy did the warm thing with his hand, but there were still lingering pinpricks. She couldnt see it, but the rims and white of her eyes were red, irritated by the foreign substance that tried to make home there. In time that would fade, however, the other color that was there wouldnt.

Where once her eyes had been a brilliant shade of emerald, they were now more like tourmaline. Of the pink variety.

By now, most of the girls hair had also changed color, more than half of it in fact. The tips were still their natural red, but it was quickly being overtaken by the purple. For the moment, Okibi didnt seem to notice as she looked to the boy. His shape was blurry, and she squinted as though that would help her see him better.

"What that was?" Was all she could bring herself to ask. Exactly what she was talking about, who could be certain. Perhaps she was talking about the goo that had gotten in her eyes, or the sparkly purple smoke. Maybe she was talking about the warmth that came from his hand.

She didnt specify.

(No worries! I already knew going into this that your schedule can be bleh sometimes. Even so, Im enjoying myself. And btw, its OKIBI, not Obiki. Getitright! Lol :{P)

It was truly a scientific wonder to watch the girl’s colors change. The hair had started first but it wasn’t until the recent emergency had been abated that Tama noticed its candy colors absorbing into the red. He had never personally really looked at her eyes but assumed that since the color in them was somewhat close to the hair, they too had changed. What the hell was keeping him alive that could so drastically change someone by mixing random ingredients in a heated tube? The boy was even asked what exactly going on, though he wasn’t sure which thing that happened he should explain first.

Of course he wouldn’t get much of a chance as the blood inside of him began to boil with the leaking holy power surging up from his inner core. He could feel the fury of the sleeping strength awoken by its use, something Tama hadn’t really done since he first awakened it. Whatever strength the absorbed soul wakened and kept in check was raging in hunger, its presence most likely completely absorbed by the rolling power. It was truly a think to be marveled at if anyone who actually knew anything about these powers knew what was going on. The energy that was coursing through the boy’s mortal shell was being welled up from something other than his chakra, and only Ancients would be able to see that the golden energy starting to pour away from his body like a mist wasn’t all his.
A shock sent the boy doubled over in pain as his hands instinctively went to his stomach. His breath quickened as he tried to hold the strength down in his core but found that the will he had kept so tightly locked was starting to disappear with the small opening given to it.

“Please…try…to get away from me. Power…can’t control anymore…pur-purple gem…”

The sound of a thunder cracking right over the two children boomed into the alleyway as Tama was suddenly bent backwards with the fury of his own strength and a beam of sheer holy energy erupted out from his body straight to the sky. It radiated a force of warmth, not quite the heat of fire, but with all the sting of it and the beam slowly began to expand out into a pillar. His body was lifted from the ground as if something had taken a hold of his chest and was slowly dragging him upwards. Markings began to appear on his flesh that was exposed through the lack of chest clothing and burn holes throughout his outfit. They were black and snake-like, all ending at different points of his body that would show the head of a dragon trying to swallow a symbol of a dragon chasing its own tail; this marking was of his clan.

So little was known of the origins of the boy’s mysterious clan and he knew even less of it. All was spoken of it was that they had once been a powerful nomadic clan that took up the insane jobs no one could handle. They had taken down many of the legendary beasts that had once roamed a wild and untamed world, and they held many legendary abilities that have since dwindled into nothing more than just stories – this display of energy was one of the original seven Ryuu Arts.
Blessed by the creators long ago the original make up of the clan was seven members that had been charged with keeping an evil blade sealed away, a weapon that had been responsible for at least two of the apocalyptic scenarios the world had been victim too. They were tasked to wander the land and put down the creatures that would raise off the sheer evil that weapon pulsated from its rest. The energy of this weapon was so strong that the waves sent out reached the edges of the land and sometimes beyond always trying to get free. In order to battle this evil and the spawn it created the seven Ryuu Lords were all blessed with the purest forms of the elements – fire, water, wind, earth, thunder, shadow, and holy. The last of the list was considered by all to be the leader of this group due to her natural ability to turn it into a healing aid and the natural destructive nature that kept her from being defenseless.
It was never said why they became spread throughout the world and why only the legends of their powers survived within the clan. In the time they existed they had only seen two members inherit those arts; Tama would be a third. It was madness to consider it, but there was the definite possibly that the boy would have a direct link to the blood of the most powerful member of the Seven; men and women who were later worshipped as deities. It was surely something to consider as the holy energy from Tama pulsed through the alley, knocking over trash and debris with its sheer force.

Somehow the genius child was able to retain his conscious and slowly opened his eyes which had changed from the amber shade and into a two tones; blue on the right, and green on the left. The left eye began to pulsate a power of its own as the energy that threatened to destroy the boy awakened the link of power hidden deep in his blood. A reptilian slit replaced the pupil of the green eye then split in the middle to form an “X” over that slit. He could feel the unending strength of this power coursing through his every nerve and knew that just even the simplest control over an inch of this would make him a forced to be reckoned with; however it was taking everything he had just to stay conscious.
Tama slowly started to breathe again, slow deep inhales and long exhales as he floated in the center of his magnitude. With every ounce of his being he fought back against the raging strength that was but moments from destroying him. He could feel just the slightest control over a tiny bit of it, his actual strength, and forced all of his willpower to focus on that tiny fraction of hold. With it he did the only thing he could think of – force it all towards his left eye. He knew that the unleash of his powers brought about acute accuracy and that the left eye had some kind of special property though it remained unknown.

By a sheer guess he saved his own life.

The energy around Tama began to recede back into him as the golden energy was slowly absorbed into this left eye. His floating form found its footing back on the ground again which caused him to simply stand there as holy energy swirled and swept past him in a twisting motion heading towards that eye.
The most peculiar thing did occur once all the energy was gone, Tama snapped his head up to show that his eyes were just pure burning orbs of light, and he opened his mouth to speak in a voice not of his own and in a dialect unheard for millennia.

Non es adhuc paratum…”

The thing that was Tama turned his glowing eyes towards the destruction of the lab and raised a hand to it, flicking the wrist a few times to cause a sudden gust of wind to swirl in and take away the purple smog and reveal a rather destroyed lab. Another crack of thunder shook the alleyway as the lights in the scientist’s eyes shut themselves closed and caused a small wave of sound to burst through like a sonic boom. A sudden pain assaulted the mind of the estranged child as he dropped down to his knees, griping his temple. He could still feel the energy roaring through him but it was at a level that could be tamed given the right steps were taken.

Closing his left eye where the headache seemed to be stemming from he looked back up at Okibi with a blue right eye and said only,
“Tiny shiny purple ball on table…please go get that for me and I’ll explain anything you want to…erg…know…”

Sweat beaded off the scientist’s brow as a hard breathe raged through his lungs. That experience hadn’t been normal and he was sure to have got the attention of something, he just hoped that it would his master to explain what the hell just happened there.

[Damn selective dyslexia! Also that weird mumbo-jumbo Tama spoke was latin for "You are not yet ready."]

Okibi blinked as her vision came into focus on the boy, doubled over with pain. Her newly changed eyes widened slightly and she made to get up to offer some help. She stopped herself when the sting from glass shard wounds reminded her that she had something to take care of herself. Quickly, she pinched the pieces of glass one by one and pulled them out of her flesh. Most of them were fairly shallow and would clot soon enough, but there was one on her left shoulder that started to bleed profusely after pulling the large shard out. She hissed and ripped off a piece of her shirt to tie around it, hoping it would slow the flow down.

With that taken care of, she turned her attention back to the boy and was about to reach out to him when he told her to stay away. He mentioned a purple gem too, but Okibi didnt understand what he meant. The sudden crack of thunder above their heads dashed any thoughts of gems from her mind and Okibi looked up quickly. How could there be thunder under ground? There werent any clouds, no sign of a storm, so where did that sound come from?

Suddenly, there was a pillar of light right in front of her. Okibi stumbled back and covered her face the subtle heat that emanated from it stung her face. She peeked through her fingers and saw that the white haired boy was stuck right in the middle of it, and for a second, was going to panic. If just standing near that thing made her face burn, what would it do to someone that was actually in it!? However, she calmed when she saw that his skin wasnt melting off, or charring black. She was a little concerned when markings started to crawl over his skin though. Through the light she couldnt quite make it out, but it almost looked like a snake was slithering over him. Was that normal?

The girl grew antsy as she realized that there was nothing she could do. If she got close again, that light would burn her. He looked like he was in pain, but not dying... What could she do!?

Nothing.

It seemed like forever before the golden energy slowly started to recede, and of all places, into the boys left eye. That could not be healthy for ones sight. Just remembering the way her eyes had burned because of the goop was enough to make her rub them just to make sure they were still in their sockets. When he landed on the ground, she was about to go to him again, when he stopped her in her tracks with some gibberish she had not heard before. It didnt occur to Okibi that maybe whatever was just said had not actually been spoken by the boy himself. Nope, not at all, instead the first that popped into her head was that he was saying something bad about her. Okibi narrowed her eyes, glaring. "What you call Okibi!?" She snapped.

The boy didnt seem to hear her as he lifted and hand and waved it in the direction of the brick wall. A gust of wind suddenly blew through and into the hole, sucking out the remaining smoke from the explosion she caused. There was another crack of thunder, and Okibi couldnt help looking up again. What the SANDS was going on? The sound of knees hitting the ground drew Okibi's attention back to the boy, and turned to see him holding his head. The image brought back the memory of the bump she had on her head, caused by the same boy that sat in front of her. For a moment, she felt a little petty, and played with the idea of leaving him there in the street. He had never apologized for that after all, which was rather rude!

But then a throb in her eyes reminded her of what had happened moments prior to the golden light. She made a mess and he helped her. Breathing a loud sigh Okibi decided she couldnt just leave him. She had to be the bigger person, obviously.

The boy was saying something, and Okibi knelt so she could hear him better. Shiny purple ball on table... he wanted her to go get a shiny purple ball for him. The sudden memory of when the boy nearly fell to the floor in his lab came to her, and she did indeed remember seeing him with something shiny and purple. Okibi took a quick look around, and noticed that people were gathering on the sides of the street. That wasnt so surprising, everything that just happened had indeed caused a ruckus. However, neither she nor the boy needed nosy humans poking their noses into their business.

Resolute, Okibi reached out and grabbed one of the boys wrists and tugged, attempting to drag him onto her shoulder. If he was too weak to go in and grab the shiny purple ball himself, then perhaps she would just have to carry him. Whether he struggled against her or not, somehow, she would drag the boy back into his laboratory.

Once inside, Okibi would set him down where he could rest and go about looking for his shiny purple ball. If she remembered right, she saw him taking to the back of the room when she'd first walked in to reprimand him. Walking back there, Okibi had to tiptoe around the mess of glass and goo she'd made, and felt a twinge of guilt. Somehow, she always made of mess of things wherever she went, even when she wasnt really trying to.

Sniffing, Okibi sifted through the scents that lingered in the room. There was still the smell of the smoke, although it had all been vacuumed out, but under that she could just make out the boys scent trail. She followed it to another table and found the glass dish with the purple gem in it. She was about to pick it up when she remembered what it did to the boy... Would it do the same thing to her. Reaching out warily, she placed just the tip of one finger on the gems surface... and breathed a sigh of relief when nothing happened. Picking up the little ball, she walked back over to the boy and offered it to him.

Once the gem left her hand, she would sit in front of him and give him a hard stare. "First, you tell Okibi your name. Tired of thinking 'White Hair Boy'." She would wait for him to do so, and then continue. "Now explain." Once again, she didnt specify what she wanted him to explain. So, he would just have to explain everything wouldnt he?

Tama couldn’t help the rocketing pain in his mind, could not ignore the throbbing behind his eye that made him feel like he was going to explode, but yet through it all he had somehow managed to tell Okibi what he needed as the remaining energy inside of him continued to roll around inside of his pit. Apparently a small group was starting to gather and through the faded light of his right eye he could see blurred images in the distance; briefly he wondered if they were ANBU. It wouldn’t be such a surprise to him considering everything that had just happened, things he wasn’t quite too sure of himself.

It wasn’t until he felt Okibi helping him to his feet did he manage to snap his conscious back into himself once again and remember that there were things that had to be done. Mikaboshi had all but disappeared in this last month and Tama had been forced to take the matter of his maddening power into his own hands, this was but just another step in keeping it controlled. Once placed onto a stool deep inside the comfortable dark the scientist quickly went to working on forming a new net of sheer will to prepare to lock out the power once again. He wouldn’t be able to do it until the wild child brought him back the purple gem that would null down his powers enough to do so, but in theory the effects would allow him to be in full control of those abilities for at least a week before they began to roll and build again. By that time Tama had planned to place the gem in a silver ring with moveable runes to help control the amount it absorbed from him into a manageable setting. With that he would be able to completely focus on his work and only worry about his latent strength when his master was training him.

It took her a moment but faithfully the girl returned with the gem and offered it to him. Quite smart not to drop it in his open palm cause that would make him black out and he was thankful for that. With a shaky hand Tama but merely grazed the gem with the tip of his index finger and felt the remaining rebellious bit of the holy powers leave him and enter the purple gem which caused it to glow briefly. As soon as this happened the boy placed up his mental barriers of will which would keep the rest of down in his stomach for the time being. This very act brought about beads of sweat on his brow but his eyes had a bit more clarity to them…though the amber didn’t return to the one open eye. Stubbornly it remained blue as if the experience of the past events had scarred it that color.

Please…place the gem on the table if you would kindly,” he said first after a chuckle to the nickname she called him her head, “My name is Ryuu Tama, which roughly translate into the Jewel Dragon in my native tongue. I am a scientist much like your…father I suppose I could call him? The Steward. Anyways despite my age I was blessed with a strong mind and before I had ever entered this village I traveled the world with a strong tutor who daily drilled all kinds of information in my head. Due to this I have a natural curiosity for things that are by nature that of a higher education. Sadly this curiosity has inadvertently caused the problem you just witnessed.
About a month ago I was in the process of making a metal table that could be turned into a small portable box when I was attacked by some homeless man that had the training of a genin. After nearly being beat to death my life was saved by some strange demon creature then I was healed by…well I guess my best description of him would be a shadow. Because of the nature of his healing an inner well of power was tapped inside of me and it has been absolutely hard to control. Hence the lab, the explosions, and the odd chemicals I have everywhere. I’ve been looking for away to keep that power inside of my from destroying my body since and you just happened upon one of my many explosive failures. I apologize if you were injured by the rocks, it was not my intention to cause you harm.”

Slowly Tama could feel the strength returning to his limbs and began to sit up on the stool a little better as he ran a hand through his greasy hair. He would be needing a shower after all of this mess.
As for that stuff in your eyes…well long story short it’s a mix of my blood, a sparkly fungus, and whatever you dropped into the chemicals to make it explode.”

Although the boy asked her to put the jewel back on the table, Okibi decided to hold onto it, just in case he needed it again by some chance. Her decision was proving to be the right one as he started to talk, not because she thought he would need it, but that she would. Not in the same way that the boy - Tama - did, but she was quickly needing something to focus on as her attention to the boy started to wane. Long winded stories and speeches always made her lose interest, no matter the content. However, Okibi tried her best to pay attention, and just focused on the little rock in her palm. Sousuke was trying to drill it into her that she needed to be more attentive when people talked to her, so she tried. But... it was just so hard when he was rambling!

Okibi started to toss the gem up and down in her palm, hearing only half of what Tama was saying really. She understood that he was a scientist, that much was obvious, but that he was like her 'father'? Okibi didnt see much of a similarity, as Sousuke was much more inclined toward mechanical things, as far as she knew anyway. When he started to lose himself in his shy-antsy stuff, she tended to avoid him.

She didnt hardly hear Tama's story about he hobo beating him up, but was able to understand that because of meeting a 'shadow man' he was now housing a power he couldnt control. Simple enough. However, she stopped tossing the purple rock into the air when something he said registered clearly, and she looked at him with wide eyes. He apologized for causing that blow to her head. Finally!

Okibi grinned widely, clenching the gem in her fist as she leaned back on her other hand. She laughed a little when he explained what the stuff in her eyes had been, making his 'long story short'. "Why you no make first story short too? You talk much as Sogay." She joked. She then looked behind her at the mess of purple-pink goo and glass that was a result of what she had done. Sounding a little cowed, she said, "Okibi is sorry too. She not mean to make mess." And turned back to him with a shy smile.

Just then, a draft of wind blew through the hole in the far wall, making some of her hair drift into her face. She made to swipe it away absentmindedly, until the color became noticed. Instead, she grabbed the strands with her hand and stared at them. This... this wasnt her hair! Her hair was red and orange, like fire! Not this grapey jam color! She looked at Tama with a slightly paniced expression, holding her hair out between them. "Tami!" She exclaimed, making his name sound like 'Tommy'. "What happen to Okibi's hair!?"

I truly could not tell you exactly what is going on with your hair,” Tama said as his eyes studied its odd color, “All I know is that it had something to do with whatever you accidentally poured into the beaker I had on an open flame.

Was it permanent? Probably; the entire concoction had only Kami knows what kind of chemicals reacting to each other. If he could get a few samples of her hair the scientist might be able to figure a solution to return her natural color, but it wasn’t likely since he doubt it’d be able to hold his attention long enough. Nope, unless she knew another scientist who had an understanding of chemical reactions of sugars and fungus deeper than his own it would likely continue to stay purple; the same could most likely be said of her eyes.

A small jounce of energy shot through Tama’s frame causing him to slowly begin to sit up properly while bringing a hand up to wipe the weary from his face. It had been a very long week and this day was ending on such a crazy bang that his mind was in a complete fog. Of course that could also be the general lack of sleep he was suffering from among poisoning himself multiple times with different formulas in the attempt to control his power. He was truly lucky that he didn’t get turned into a slow mutating fly-man from the number of things he combined. In the end he could call the experiment a large success since he did manage to create a gem that could act as a external filter if created properly, and got back at Okibi for exposing to him a weakness he was not aware of until her feet came smashing down on it; retrospectively of course.

Wait until you see your eyes,” He said as the energy to cause him to stand finally came. Using the table to help him walk he moved himself back towards where the bookcase and all his precious writing lived. Behind what appeared to be a glass wall was a shelf dedicated to the seemingly endless source of writings that Tama had created. Unlike most scientists he didn’t have his own personal library of information that an adult with his level of intelligence would be able to afford. So to make up for this he turned to writing down everything that caught his interests and then cross referencing it between other books and notes until he uncovered the a basic source of the subject that he could build up in his own words. Some of the scrolls up there contained ancient languages that he was still deciphering and of those he called his most precious. The glass wall was something he had barely had time to activate when the explosion went off and he could only hope that the complete lack of oxygen would cause the formula to shrivel and become infertile in its use. With a burst of will the boy forced himself to walk over to the cramped corner of his laboratory and flick some hidden switch that caused the glass wall to slide back down into the floor; he would have to reset the springs manually at a later time.
Carefully he moved between the books and checked the covers of each one of them to make sure that nothing had gone wrong with them. It wasn’t until he got to the far right end of his back wall did he finally start to notice some damage, and thankfully it was only the book of Chemical Process 1 that was beyond readable – Tama knew that one by heart.

Once pass his shelves he reached one of the other lab tables that were the far end of the one that caused the explosion. In front of the scientist was some strange device that had a gem in surrounded by a bunch of small mirrors. Reaching into his all but destroyed lab coat Tama removed a small screwdriver that he used to dislodge one of the mirrors and hand to Okibi so she could see what he was talking about.

Whatever she poured into the beaker? Okibi backtracked, and remembered tossing the vile of sparkly red stuff into the glass pot that was on the fire, as well as... the candy!? She whipped around, smacking herself with her now amethyst hued hair, and eyed the pink and purple goo mess. She was seeing it in an entirely new light! Science was such a weird thing... how did her one little sucker make her hair change colors?

It really was too bad she didnt have enough interest in shy-ants to find out.

Okibi half listened as Tama started to putter around, checking on his things and whatnot. Okibi stood up as well, took one last look at the mess, and then followed after him. "What Tami mean? What bout Okibi's eyes?" She questioned as she trailed behind the boy. He didnt answer her, and instead went about checking his books, ignoring her. Okibi's narrowed her eyes, which caused them to throb just a little.

The girl was about to burst with anger when Tama made his way to a table and reached into his coat. He pulled something small out and removed something shiny from the table. When he handed it to her, Okibi saw that it was a small mirror. Ah, so she'd be able to see for herself just what he meant when he mentioned her eyes. Feeling a bit of trepidation, Okibi rose the mirror to eye level.

And very nearly dropped it right there.

How in the sands... her eyes were pink! Last she checked, they were as green as the freshly grown grass on the hills that bordered part of the country. Did the goop she made to this too!? Okibi held onto the mirror with one hand as she used the other to pull down the lower lid of her right eye. Thankfully it looked like no other part of her eye was affected, except that the whites of were a little red because of the irritation. She wasnt the biggest fan of the color pink... it just seemed an unusual color, one she rarely saw in nature and it just... it was so girly.

Okibi pulled the mirror away and turned so she could get a better look at herself, eyes, hair and all. Her face twisted as she considered the way she now looked, and vaguely wondered if the colors were going to stay this way.

"Okibi looks like a faerie..." She murmured, still looking at the mirror.

A sudden thought struck the girl and she looked to Tama with a wide eyed expression. "What you think Sogay say? He not like when Okibi make trouble messes!" She quickly set the mirror back on the table and started to pull at her purple tresses nervously. An anxious pacing started up, going from one end of the lab to the other. "He still not happy cause Okibi broke is squishy chair."

Tama couldn’t help but unleash a chuckle when Okibi mentioned looking like a fairy. It was true in so many ways not just due to the color but also length of her hair and the way it tended to frame her face and bring out the eyes. The reason it was so funny, though, was because the girl who was studying herself in the mirror was so far from being that kind of person that the very idea that she looked like one was quite amusing. This was a girl who was known for her wildness and natural destructive ability that came out simply by being alive. Not to mention she didn’t seem to have a grasp on human common sense and something more akin to that of an animal which actually made the scientist interested in her despite having little interest in any gender outside of their brains. The odd color of her hair was also a brought about a strange attraction for Tama because it was so different from everyone else. In fact he doubted he’d ever see anyone else in his entire life that had that same hair color and a part of him told him he needed to perform romantics just so he could have the only girl in the world with that natural hair color; it was a scientist thing.

Then he realized he was twelve and this was something not for him to worry about. As Okibi pointed about her father’s reaction Tama remembered that there were other things in life than collecting rare specimens he would refuse to share. There was the chance that he would get a good deal of blame for this and that alone made him nervous for multiple reasons. The biggest being that falling into disfavor with the most creative mind in Sunagakure would really damper his chances to become a well known inventor cause the Steward could just easily veto any patent he sent in simply because he didn’t like what Tama did to his ward’s hair. So now the question was going to be what was he going to do?

Okay,” Tama said with a level of panic that was near to Okibi’s, “We say it was a random science explosion that you just happened to be caught up in. You had nothing to do with it, we’ll blame it on this guy I know who is very bad at chemistry and I’ll work on a cure to fix your hair/eyes! Then I’ll present the cure, you’ll go back to your regular looks, I get in good with the Steward, everyone wins but that one guy!

The scientist of course had no problem taking down a potential rival while also covering his own mistake. The biggest part of becoming a big-shot inventor in Suna was being a bit cut-throat with the competition. In many ways, if this worked out, he had a lot to thank Okibi for which was so ironic cause she drove him crazy in multiple ways. Her hyperactivity, the way she talked, her general lack of control of her curiosity that bordered on dangerous…it was enough to push any straight thinking man off the edge. Tama had a newfound respect for his leader now that he thought about the fact that he was raising this wild child.

Okibi pulled and tangled her new hair as she stressed over what Sousuke would have to say about her newest mess. She didnt think so much that he would care about her hair changing color, but more so about how it changed color. When he learned it was because she'd caused yet another explosion, she would sure be in for it. Another lecture was coming her way, she could smell it already.

While the girl made knots in her hair, she half listened (as was her bad habit) while Tama spouted off some plan about blaming some guy he knew, and changing her hair and eyes back to normal. Okibi paused in her distress, and blinked. She looked at Tama, blinked some more, and then turned to the mirror that she'd set bad on the table. With slow hands, she picked the mirror back up and looked at herself again. Odd as it was, Okibi didnt hate the new colors... in fact, she rather liked them. Pink wasnt her favorite, but it went with the purple so nicely...

"Okibi not want change back..." She murmured into the mirror. It wasnt like she had been over attached to her old hair and eye color anyway. Before coming to the village she had never seen a proper reflection before. The only thing she worried about, and didnt like, was the long winded speech she knew was waiting for her at home.

As Okibi lowered the mirror again and set it back down, Tama's last words registered in her mind. Get in good with the Steward? What did that mean exactly? Was that some way of saying he wanted to hurt Sousuke? Get in good... as in get in a good hit? Maybe it meant something else. After all, Tama didnt have the habit of talking the way she did, so if he was trying to say something like that he probably would have. He seemed to have the same ability for long windedness as Sousuke, that was for certain.

With a narrow eyed stare, Okibi slowly looked at Tama, eyed him up and down and then settled on his eyes. "What Tami mean, get in good with Sogay?" She asked, full of suspicion.

Tama felt the blood rush up into his face as she caught him in the middle of his plot for domination…of the inventing field. He seriously doubt he could explain to Okibi all the reasons why he wanted to be able to get closer to what was essentially his hero but the big side of it was being able to get his technology noticed faster than anyone else’s by having an in with the Steward; who himself was a known inventor. If he could manage to find a way to get in on this man’s good side he would only need for little else in life.
Well…its, not what you think. Sousuke is kinda…an idol for me. A father figure? I have a lot of respect for the man and I would love nothing more than to be friends with him.

He really hoped that he was able to convey that message to the fairly dangerous girl in front of him. In the short time that the boy knew her he had quickly discovered that she was just naturally destructive, as if it was just destined to happen. The scientist jokingly decided to call the walking natural disaster the Okibi Theory – if there is destruction to be had, she will be in the center of it. So far she had managed to nearly destroy what bit of knowledge he was to gain from the lecture, along with his nads, and pretty much ruined his lab. It was going to take weeks to get the pink crap off the walls and tables not to mention the glass that was stalwartly defending his books.
Speaking of, Tama turned to face the numerous tomes and pulled the glass casing back over them before shuffling towards the middle and scribbling some sort of seal that would react to anyone else’s life energy other than his own. It was a simple paper bomb seal in all actuality that would destroy the thief and all his work should someone be foolish enough to bother it. With that done the boy slowly started to move towards the entrance of his lab in the attempt to try to focus away from the awkward conversation that was being held between the scientist and the wild child.

Well then, I suppose this experiment was a success! I managed to make what I wanted, you ended up liking what you got, so surely there is no need to…speak of whom it was that put you in the danger of a chemical explosion, yes?”

The sight of red flushing Tama's face caused Okibi to tilt her head with curiosity. Was he sick? Okibi sniffed the air. No, he didnt smell of sickness. Then he must had been embarrassed. The thought made Okibi grin, especially when the boy admitted to idolizing her packmate. Indeed, Sousuke was brilliant, much smarter than she, and very well worth admiring.

Okibi sauntered over to the front end of the Laboratory, sidestepping the pink goo on the floor. She felt like she should perhaps help Tama clean up but... well, she had other things she had to go do. Get herself bandaged up was one.

"Maybe Okibi let Sogay know Tami think well of him." She commented lightly, in a manner that might have sounded like she was teasing. With a bark of laughter, she looked back at Tama after he, by no subtle means, told her that he didnt want to be blamed for what happened to her. She didnt blame him. Okibi was sure that if Sousuke found out she'd been put in that kind of danger because of the boy, even if only partially... well, honestly she wasnt sure what would happen. She doubted sousuke would lose his cool... nothing ever seemed to phase him.

She planned to test that theory one day.

"Not worry Tami. This Okibi's fault, not yours." She gestured at her hair and eyes. "Not tell Sogay you have anything do with it."

With a final grin, Okibi waltzed through the hole in the wall, but not without ruffling Tama's hair in passing. He was a few inches shorter than her after all. "Byyye." She said in a sing song voice with a wave, hurrying away from the scene of much wreckage so she could get to doing what she had to do.

Tama breathed a slight sigh of relief as he watched Okibi promise not to tell of his involvement of drawing her into an explosion that could of very well killed her. He turned towards the lab and shook his head upon seeing the purple goo everywhere and wondering exactly where he would start on cleaning this mess up.
One thing was for sure though, he hoped that Okibi never tried to bother him during another experiment ever again. His handwritten book collection had barely survived this encounter, his genitals had barely survived the last one…the next time those two met would probably spell his death.
