Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Another day in Death's Darling. Standing by at the counter, Megumi was fiddling with her new technique. Attaching her chakra strings on the counter, as she plucked them with her free hand sending out dull tune as she look towards an empty store. It was the usual seen at Death's Darling, making the name apt as all those who are close to death are forever alone.

While the may not be the center of attention, the shop was not in the read as most of it's income was from custom and special orders. While it sold death in bulk The Darling specialized in the finer methods of dealing death for all of her friends.

Plucking away at her strings, and listening to her headset. Megumi would focus her chakra into them as she practice transmuting genjutsu through them. It  was very different from simply form the correct high sighs and connecting the flow of chakra through her body and then it her target. Instead she was using the strings as a catalyst and skipping the hands sighs.

Plucking along to the music she was listening to. Megumi would try to put herself under a genjutsu to place herself in the front of a U<3ME. A bouncy tune came off of her strings and echoed back to her, sending her into a private concert just for her. Getting lost in the lights of the stage and the back up dancers as they followed along to their lead. Megumi would be enwrapped with the sounds of Yume's voice and the music guiding her song along. Megumi would be lost in her own mind as her finger played as if the had a mind of their own. Trapping her inside of a never ending purgatory of sound.

A sharp chime rang out, intercepting the young girl's musical imprisonment. Megumi would quickly turn off her headset and hide her copy of a U<3ME album, and acted as if she was just practicing her new technique. Light hopeful spets echoed towards her as the unkept and shameless owner of the establishment approached Megumi with a gleeful smile as he held a maid outfit.

" No" Megumi would not even give the man time to speak before she shot his idea down. The owners already hunched over posture dipped and if one could possibly see past his mop of brown hair that conceal most of the upper  part of his patsy skin, his eyes would no doubt show disappointment and sorrow from his plans shattering under Megumi's disapproval.

Falling on his feet as he held up the frilly outfit to her desperately. " Come on, Megumi-chan, do it for our darling child"! Megumi would ignore him and play a harsh and dreadful tune, from her strings. She would put desire to put the man in a dreadful nightmare. " It's not ours you are the owner i just work here". Letting off one final ping to end her coreus of madness she would stare at her perverted employer, trying to send her musical chorus of madness at him.

Even if he was batter and broken, the man would not give up on his dream. Pushing her desire up higher he would try to pierce and blow through the malice and hate forcing his dream down from his greatest employee.

Their clash of wills would continue, as the air around the shop felt electrified from their undying and unrelenting spirits fighting for superiority.

And that’s when the door open and Izura walked into the shop rather quietly. His pale red eyes scanning over Megumi and the pervy shopkeeper holding the maid outfit, Izura sighed and reached behind his back, drawing his kusarigama and placing it on the counter with a dull clunk, followed by the patter of the weapon’s signature chain as it was rested upon the shop counter’s surface.

The weapon was rather old looking- at least a decade old. Bandages covered the blade, hiding the heavily nicked and worn blade beneath. Still plenty sharp to use in combat, but it was clear that the weapon had seen more than it’s fair share of use. The handle and chain were also just as worn, covered in nicks and scratches from collisions with other weapons, used as a deflecting or blocking tool.

Izura got straight to the point, his voice purely professional and to the point.

“I’d like to get this weapon repaired. What would be the price quote on a full restoration?”

He ignored the fact that the girl was playing a tune that was quite obviously meant to induce some sort of genjutsu. Given his years as a shinobi, and a veteran Uchiha at that, it wasn’t hard for him to shrug off the attempt to inadvertently capture him in an illusion. Instead, there was only a polite request.

“And could you please stop trying to cast genjutsu on me, ojou-san?” he’d state rather plainly, without any malice or real concern, as he looked at Megumi.

The sharp cry of the chime rang out as the Megumi and her creep of a boss still continued on with their battle of wills. The owner would turn to see the customer and quickly hide the outfit behind his back as he spoke with a awkwardly polite tone. “ Welcome valued custom how could we help you kill you enemies better”? As he spoke he would eye Megumi and jerks with eyes to the customer as if to get her to join into the ridiculous greeting.

Ignoring her fool of a boss, Megumi looked at the man that entered and approached. He was fairly tall, with fair skin, but his most predominant feature was his pale red eyes, that made he think of an Uchiha. As he quietly reached behind his back and pulled out a battle worn Kusarigama. Megumi would look at him with a plain expression as she did not know why he came here for a restoration. There were plenty of smiths around that could do the job for a fair price, but here it would cost more.

Getting straight to the point, he asked how much it would cost to restore the well used weapon and for her to stop casting her genjutsu around the shop. Looking at him blankly as he asked her. She would think on his words and dissipate the strings, “ Was not meant for you anyway”.  Looking to the weapon she would pick it up. Examining all the nicks and dents all over the weapon and the handled that would need to be replaced. Placing it down then looking back to the man. “ one thousand two hundred at a basic restoration”.

As she waited for him to accept or decline his offer, she would ignore her boss failed attempts at giving subtle hints about customer service. Thinking about how to man seemed knowledgeable about genjutsu and that he could confidently defend against it, he most likely was a shinobi. She could see no head band or village marking on his very casual clothes. Perhaps he was off duty and getting a few chores done before his vacation was over. However the fact that he came here bothered her, as a leaf shinobi would no where to go for a simple repair. She wondered if he was from another village and why he would be in the leaf.
