Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The tales from escapades to the surface always had flair to them. Some fought giants that were nearly 3 metres tall, others spoke of creatures with no eyes that could smell their prey from nearly 5 kilometres away. In the Mednin’s experience, magnetism had never been the cause of injury before. Sitting on a stool, she looked through the observation window into the plastic room where the subject was being held. Back to back with his puppet, they had been laid on their side to avoid fatigue and were regularly turned to avoid getting bed sores. Her teeth chipped away at the end of a pen as she chewed, anxiously trying to figure out the best course of action. They could always dismantle the puppet but that would entail bringing metallic tools near the patient which could potentially gain magnetism and cause further harm. No, their best option was to demagnetize them; which is what had brought them to the experimental imaging laboratory in Keystone Prime. Creating images using magnetism in a way similar to x-rays had been in the research stages for a few months now but had the fatal flaw of attracting ferrous objects to the source. Now they waited for the scientists involved to make the proper adjustments to the machine in order to produce just enjoy of a polar opposite current to demagnetize her patients.

Everyone in the room sat up as a semi-cylindrical looking machine was wheeled into the chamber and over the patient. With everything secured into place, they cleared the room and joined Yume in the observation chamber. Through the thick barrier a low hum could be heard as the machine was powered on and began to proceed through its warm up cycles. She almost wished that Sousuke could have been here to witness this; the conjunction of machinery and medicine to further the cause of science… but he would have to suffice in hearing about it from her report. Taking a few calming breaths she smiles over to the man who was behind the controls.

Well, this is it. It’ll either work, or it won’t. Good luck!

Or it’ll rip the man to pieces…

WHAT?

The blood drained from her face as she watched the man push the button to start the process before she could stop him. Whirring sounds and the occasional clunk would resonate around the nearly empty room as her green eyes focused on the subject, almost willing the process to work and him to come out alive. The fingers of her right-hand would draw a line down the middle of her forehead and cross over her heart in a plea to Mother Suna. It would seem that her prayer would be answered almost immediately as first one, and then another part of the puppet would fall away from the shinobi. After thirty seconds the legs would show signs of coming free and after a full minute they began to power down the machine again. It seemed like an eternity before the scientists declared the room safe and the Mednin was allowed entrance.

Rushing to her patient’s side, she began her physical at once; checking blood pressure, temperature, iris dilation, noting the fractures that has occurred when the man had struggled before receiving medical aide, and discussing the experience of being inside the machine. Her gnawed pen scribbled furiously across her note pad, unwilling to rely on a tape recorder when it would be potentially exposed to residual magnetism. Once she had the notes required to give to the powers that be, she would perform one more check of all of the patient’s vitals before ordering an immediate transfer to Omni-Prime where a medical team would be waiting to mend his bones and put him on IV hydration.

As for her… she had a report to write and, if she was lucky, deliver to the Steward personally.
