Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The small redheaded girl woke early that morning, wanting to get a head start on her training before her sensei arrived for their monthly training session. Yawning slightly, she stretched and ventured into the bathroom to take a quick shower so she would be refreshed and awake so her reaction times wouldn't suffer because of the early appointment. Wrapping her slender, but muscular body in a grey towel, she ran a brush through her hair before weaving it quickly into a long plait down her back.

After having brushed her teeth, Amy returned to her bedroom where she dressed in a set of fitted speed shorts and a matching tank, over which she pulled green padded armor to protect her legs, shoulders and chest. While just a few months before the armor set had made her small body seem even smaller, her toned legs, stomach and arms now filled out the armor nicely. Looking in the mirror that hung on her door she smiled a little, turning around to admire how much she had grown since starting the academy. She was still much shorter than most kids her age, she had quite a bit more muscle definition due to her rigorous training each month, as well as the work she did in her shop and the twice-a-week training she made sure to get in between work and classes at the academy.

Once again leaving her small bedroom, she moved very quietly across the house, taking extra care in front of the door to her father's study where three male voices spoke in hushed tones. Stopping at this door, she knocked lightly three times to alert her father and uncles that she was there before speaking politely through the door. "I'll be outside, Otosan, if you need me. I have training this morning." Her father simply said, "Alright," before returning to his monthly clan meeting that almost always fell on the same day as her training,. It was better this way, both members of the household could do their own things without getting in the other's way. Smiling a little, Amy sprinted the rest of the way to the kitchen to down a bit of breakfast before heading to the entry where she sat down on the small step to put her speed shoes on before heading outside and around to the side of the house where she had three rubber training dummies set up and a tall, slender basket that held a few blunted swords she used for training - all of them she had made so that they felt very similar to her own 'Ember Edge.'

Before pulling a blade from the basket, she did a few stretches and breathing exercises to warm up her muscles, as well as working with her chakra coil a bit. First, she focused her chakra into her feet so that she ran a few steps before jumping high into the air, doing a little flip, and coming down - not so gracefully - onto the head of the center dummy, wobbling just a little, she stuck her arms out to balance herself before hopping back down onto the grass with a tumble. She did this a few times before she could stick a landing square on the dummy's head. Smiling once she had achieved this, she began to work on the few ninjutsu she had learned.

Focusing her chakra again, she traded places with a chair on the porch, then traded back again, a wide grin now plastered on her face, her emerald green eyes sparkling in the early-morning sun. Her next, and newest ninjutsu technique was one she had only worked with a little bit, but she was getting quite good at it. Her grin turning into a mischievous little smirk as she knew her sensei would be arriving soon, she concentrated on Uzumoreu Toushin's appearance and formed a few simple sand-seals before her small body sprouted upward and outward, her hair lost its pigment and her irises changed from green to amber, the whites darkening to black. Even Uzu's scars were clear on her face, and her mischievous grin shrank into the small smirk that was all he could manage most of the time.

"Hehe!" The alto-toned voice sounded very strange coming from the mouth of the intimidating looking assassin, and Amy clapped her - no, Uzu's hand over her mouth before she coughed and tried to make her voice sound like her sensei's did. It was took a little work before she had the depth and mystery of his voice down, but she couldn't help but smirk as she looked at her reflection in the windows. It was a strange sight, seeing the daunting figure standing where a small girl with red hair should have been.

Entering Thread as iNPC Uzumoreru Toushin

Part of that meeting was about Uzu, but that was for another time.

It was that time of the month again when Toushin went about outside of his castle and did his rounds and collect on his business tabs. The money he was getting from his last endeavor that was a three year mission was already starting to turn the clan around as Toushin selflessly pumped all of his earned money into the repairs for the clan. He updated the building structure, recently added some water and air chakra crystals to the newly built ventilation shafts in order to give the out of date building much needed air conditioning. After the last heat wave threatened to roast everyone alive that had been the first thing on his list right after repairs that were absolutely needed such as guard rails on the bridges spanning the giant chasms between the buildings of the castle. They may be highly trained agile killers, but that was no excuse for no safety measures taken; most deaths came from home accidents.
Now that he had collected all the yen for the day Uzu decided that it was high time he get to the final agenda for that morning list and that was to go train his protégé.

Amy was coming along really well with her training having already mastered all the techniques he could teach with the Snapdragon style. Her reactionary times whispered of the hidden genius that was laying in wait underneath the cute redhead. It was one thing for a blacksmith taking to a sword like a fish to water, it as whole different thing when that same blacksmith could use that sword like she had always known how. He found it somewhat exciting to be training someone who was going to be able to someday surpass him.
Without a sound Toushin landed on the rooftop of the Amy’s home and snuck around until he saw the yard in which they would be training. It was also there that he saw himself…but wait. That wasn’t right, he was on the roof. Quickly the only thing that came to mind was that this was someone using the transformation technique in order to attack Amy.
Now while this was a foolish notion on at least ten different levels, the assassin wasn’t going to let this get out of hand any further than it had to. With the grace of a panther the killer leaped off the roof and landed his feet square into the transformations back to knock it to the ground, flicked his wrist to great a black blade of blood and placed the edge up to the stranger’s neck,
You got two seconds to tell me why you’re at this house disguised with my image…

Amy still stood looking at her handiwork in the mirror that was created by the windows on the side of the house, Uzu's little smirk still on her face as she turned this way and that, checking to be sure she had completed the transformation when she felt two feet hit her square in the back. The air was knocked out of her as she fell to the ground and landed face first in the grass. A moment later a hand was in the long white hair that was hers for the moment and a blade was pressed to her neck. Then a familiar deep voice rang out close to her ear and she shivered slightly. The voice of her trainer wasn't as warm as she was used to, now it had a cold air to it that made her freeze. She couldn't speak, she couldn't even mold her chakra well enough to release the offending jutsu and shrink back into her normal body.

Taking a few deep breaths she choked out the words, “No, no...I'm Amy!” But the voice clearly wasn't hers, and she knew that he wouldn't believe her while she still had his voice and appearance, so she tried to take another deep breath to calm herself and concentrate enough to morph back into her body. It worked, and after a few moments the white hair on her head began to grow out more and darken until it was a bright shade of red, the tall and muscular build shrank down until it was her petite but muscular frame, her irises returned to emerald green, and the whites, which were currently black, lightened again.

Once she had returned to her own appearance she relaxed a little, tears beginning to pool in her eyes. “I'm sorry, Sensei! I wasn't thinking straight, I thought it might be funny....”

With a sigh Uzu stood back up and released the chakra in the blade to make the blood simply splatter against the ground and disappear.

Of course it was a transformation jutsu, and it was a little ashamed that he had not seen through it immediately. However with his recent rise to power there was going to be possible complications involving those he had attachments to and Amy was one of them.
Not only was he breaking at least three different clan laws by training her, he was working with the Suchiru clan rather than against it in his grand scheme to take over the Suna Market. It went against several codes he had followed his life by but for the first time he actually felt elevated that he was doing so.
Toushin was trying so desperately to change his draconian clan.

Weapon up,” Toushin said as he drew one of his actual blades from his hip and swished it through the air a few times to loosen his wrist. He was going to dive right into the lesson today as he still had a few more things he wanted to accomplish before he called it a night. Bracing his left foot into the ground he rushed Amy as soon as he weapon was drawn and began to strike at her as if the battle was real. He knew that her weapon smith work was far beyond anything the Uzumoreru had accomplished so he had no fear of striking her blade with his own. However if he was to ever use the blood blade it would probably still snap her weapon in half; after all he could change the shape of his blood blade readily.
His short sword stabbed at her face and slashed twice at her gut trying to draw her into using the counter attack technique from the Snapdragon style and see if she had mastered the double block and the footwork to counter his attack. Of course he still knew how to dodge her counter depending on how fast she had become and was thrilled to know the base of her mastery.
After her success or failure on landing a counter attack Toushin would spin his body to the left and quickly stab once and then twice at her armor in a high-low strike followed by him tucking his body down to sweep his leg at her feet to knock her down and roll into a ‘deathblow’ where she would either have to maneuver out of or prove his theory that she was a secret genius.

The small girl flinched a little as Toushin spoke. She had been expecting much more anger at her mistake, but after looking at her instructor a moment she took the few steps toward the basket full of training swords and pulled one out, holding it in her right hand. Her grip was gentle, but still secure, giving the blade just enough wiggle room to follow through with her strikes without flying from her hand and injuring anyone in the vicinity.

Swinging it a few times, just as her sensei had, the remorseful expression she had worn a few moments before disappeared and was replaced with a look of great concentration. Training time was training time, and no other thoughts were allowed.

As soon as the assassin began to strike at her with his weapon, the redhead began to match his movements with blocks a few times before she really began to fight. His blade made a move for her face, so she brought the blunted blade up in front of her to block it and push the swing to the side. Next, his blade came for her abdomen twice, she swung her weapon down to block both attacks, and as she pushed away the second attack she stepped back twice, then quickly to the side, slashing her blade toward her opponent's ribcage. Had she been fighting a better matched opponent, the tip of her blade would have slashed into his side, however, Toushin was much more skilled, and blocked the attack easily.

As Uzu spun to the side and jabbed his blade first at her chest – she brought her right hand up and blocked the stab blade down – then at her abdomen once again – she rotated the blade in her hand a blocked this stab with the blade up. After blocking both blows here, he dropped, aimed a sweeping kick to her feet – she automatically pushed chakra down into her feet to propel her up off the ground into a front flip. Flipping over him and spinning her body around just before she landed on her feet she swept her weapon around to aim a slash at his upper arm.

Just as he thought.

No one at that age, even if they had been trained literally since birth, would be able to just simply dodge that attack naturally. The quick thinking it took to block both blows and leap over the sudden leg sweep was enough proof to Toushin that she was indeed a weapons genius; apparently creating them added to this.
Toushin winced as he felt the blade strike his shoulder as he attempted to dodge her expertly placed counter attack and, as per the rules of the mock duel, refused to use that arm for the rest of the fight. In a real fight the assassin probably would of simply closed the wound and continued fighting with it until the damn thing fell off, but it was best to show her how normal people fought with swords before he ever went into teaching her what to look out for when fighting ninjas.

Hopping back Uzu created a little distance away from Amy and switched sword hands to hold up the weapon in a defensive stance to let her take on the offensive. Now the second part of her training would begin with him slowly slipping in a second style for her to learn by blocking any and every counter she would try to create when he attacked from his defensive stance. Slowly, blow by blow, he would accept her attack to let her learn the new sword style that would help compliment her defensive technique before he taught her a full offensive style.
This new style was called Sparrow Peck that involved a lot of stabbing maneuvers that should only be possible with thinner, lighter blades but with Uzu’s confidence in his student he was sure she would figure out the trick around using a more weighted weapon.

“Yes!” the young girl cried after her blunted blade made contact with the assassin's arm, jumping up and down a little in the few moments it took him to turn and jump back a few feet, giving the pair a little more space between them. Grinning wildly, the girl widened her stance so that her feet were slightly more than shoulder-width apart and bent her knees to sink down into an offensive position, her left hand free at her side and clenched into a relaxed fist – her thumb carefully outside in case she needed to land a blow with it, while her right hand held her sword out, the point facing in the direction of Toushin's right hip

Round Two....Fight!

As the bout began again, Amy found it much more difficult to find a way through her instructor's defenses and her expression changed from the excitement of a small victory to concentration. Her slashing strikes were just being blocked over and over again, but she could see a few small, likely deliberate, holes in his defense. Understanding now what he wanted her to do, she brought her arm straight back behind her and slid the blade through the air, straight under Uzu's arm to prod him in the armpit with another grin. The stabbing motion felt strange with the slightly heavier blade, but it did the job just the same, and Amy's strong muscles were very familiar with the weight of any sword, much less swords she had made for her own use.
