Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Tick. Tick. Tick.

A metronome burrowed into the ears of the lone figure sitting atop a small house. He was crouched over his knees, completely still from movement as if he was a gargoyle sewn into the structure of the middle class section of town.

Tick. Tick. Tick.

The sound that resonated was loud throughout the villages area to civilians and shinobi alike of the area. A large clock tower sat high, stopping just short of the cave ceiling that sheltered an entire village, hidden beneath the sand. To anyone else that walked around below the large clock, it would seem that every time the larger of the two clock hands moved, a minute had passed by. But to the being sitting atop the house, each " Tick " was just a short second.

Beneath Darasu, the world was passing by at lightning speeds while civilians and shinobi alike bustled across the streets below. He was in a zen like state, where his sole intention was observation. It was the young anbu's first mission as his new position. And they had entrusted him to alot.

Nusumu Kyohi, or " Hax " as the village had dubbed him. Darasu had become a scout for the village anbu, and was being relied on to locate and return this low level missing nin to the obsidian palace. Surely the higher level ANBU would have no problem locating this guy, but they wanted a younger member to test themselves.

And it had been a test. This guy was a well known technological guru among the village, and had been screwing the village over for some time without getting caught. He had access to camera's, accounts and information from every source and location in the village. Apparently he had spent his last few days helping a group of thugs bust into a bank, by disabling the security. But when the main branch shinobi of the village arrived to police the hacker, he vanished.

This guy was well networked, and well connected among all areas and districts. No doubt he had cameras at all times on every inch of the village.

Which was why Darasu had the advantage. Unless someone had a high level doujutsu, or was an expert at sensing chakra signatures he was as good as a ghost. The young haku didn't have alot of experience with genjutsu, but one thing he had been well trained on due to his friend Mugen, was camouflage. As long as he remained perfectly still there was no way he could be noticed.

It was amassed that the last time this Hax was seen, it was in the area of leaving this house. It had taken a few bribes to find this information, but Darasu had gotten his toes wet plenty of times. Rumor had it that Nusumu was working for an underground client who liked the dirtier side of life, crime sluts and what not. That type of stuff didn't matter. What did was the information this kid had.

And so, after thirteen hours of sentinel work, the Hax finally exited a small house, guarded by two samurai.

"Fools.."

The three targets walked down the street in a triangle formation. In the hand of Hax was a small remote object. Taking in note of this, when the criminals thumb moved over the object, there seemed to be a strange essence in the area of where he walked...

To follow in path, Darasu performed a single hand seal with his left hand while concentrating a mild amount of chakra around his body. This was a bit difficult for him, as he had only recently begun training his body and mind to perform two jutsu at once; a feat that was impressive for his rank.
Shortly after, there would be an eerie fog that would begin naturally forming, slowly of course. It wasn't completely unheard of for fog to be created due to the moisture in the underground cave. Although it was rare, it wasn't impossible.

This would give Darasu a small window to release his Chameleon jutsu and slip into the shadows and follow the trio with the stealth he had at hand. Nearly a dozen minutes passed of the three walking down winding paths and alleyways, and nobody seemed to notice that the man in center was a missing nin. Darasu followed at a good twenty meter distance, making sure to stay in blind spots or dark areas. This Hax guy didn't even seem cautious, he only looked forward and never around him. No paranoia for someone considered a criminal was never a good thing.

Suddenly, the center leader stopped mid step, and took a turn right into a building. Odd that he acted as if he could enter any where he wanted. One of the guards followed him in, the other waited outside the door.

Taking a moment to scan the building, the Haku ANBU noted that there was only one entrance, no windows and nothing but hard concrete walls in a village that was mostly constructed of clay or wood. This was odd, because few people or business' cared to spend the money on concrete when they can use more organic and natural materials. The shinobi stared at the building for some time before deciding a course of action.

Perhaps his ANBU superiors would expect him to come into a cross roads like this. Where he would need to use critical thinking to make a large decision that would effect the performance of his mission. Lame.
