Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It had barely been a week since the raven haired female had decided to return to her shinobi training with renewed vigour and goals in her mind. Long gone was the bratty prodigy of old and in stepped the new Torachi, willing to put in the blood, sweat and tears to earn back her eyes, honour and then surpass it all. “Bein’ a prodigy ain’t e-fuckin’-nough! I need to push it to the boundaries and fuckin’ break free!” She said to herself between heavy, panting breaths. Due to the large amount of down time she had forced upon herself the girls body had degraded drastically, for someone so close to achieving the rank of ANBU Captain she had surely fell a canyons depth. She was starting at the bottom and was well aware of the treacherous climb ahead of her but she was past the point of giving away her fucks so easily. “Even if i fuckin’ break, I’ll show ‘em all! I’ll fuckin’ surpass you ALL!” She let out a guttural yell and allowed some of her pent up anger out as her body struggled against the tendril like mud currently binding her in place.

…wait, mud?

That’s right, Torachis current location was clouds very own testing zones dubbed “The Obstacle Course”. She’d very quickly gotten fed up of trying to get back into shape the traditional way, running, sparring practice against lifeless dummies and had decided to for the first time ever, use the facilities at the academy to train. She’d set herself up with what she assumed a simple course to start her rusts recovery though quickly found that she was far more unprepared than she realised. She had tasked herself with defeating four targets, clones able to defend themselves and with her lack of Byakugan she was quickly taken advantage off and bound within the earthy tendrils. Three of the clones approached her as the one performing the bind stood back, she waited for the three to get within melee range, which whilst dangerous was the only way she could think to escape with the upper hand. She inhaled deeply through her nose and forced her body to remember, remember the things she could do and will do. “KAITEN!” She yelled out loud as her body span rapidly, breaking the binds and knocking back the three clones approaching her, but she didn’t stop there, once freed and with her opponents stunned she set about assaulting them the way only she could.

She took her easily recognised Jyuuken stance and advanced upon the first clone with death in her eyes, beginning to strike with only the tips of her index and middle finger. “Temple, Larynx, Cartoid.” She spoke with each of her seemingly gentle strikes, she had already turned for the next target as her hits began to take effect, first the clone was unbalanced, then it would topple over, struggling to take in breath as it writhed in pain before dispersing. “Superior Vena Cava, Left Vena Cava, Aorta, Heart.” The next clone froze as it was hit so precisely with force and chakra directly to the heart and surrounding areas, it coughed up blood before falling to it’s knees and dispersing. “Solar Pluxus, Abdomen, Kidney, Stomach, Liver.” Soothingly the words exited her mouth as she was at the third target like a bolt of lightning, she may have been rusty but her body remembered it all, after losing her eyes she had taken it upon herself to learn more about the human body, it’s vital points, it’s strong points and put them to good use, admittedly she’d began studying so she could find a way to kill herself fast enough to not be saved… the scar across her throat a constant reminder of that. The third clone had now dropped, after evacuating it’s bladder and stomach into its pants. “I’ll never fuckin’ get tired of that shit.” She said with a confident smirk. “But hey, one of you fucks is still alive an it’s ya lucky day, you get to witness a lil something special I’ve been whippin’ up.” The clone clearly wasn’t going to take anything lying down and began to attack franticly, sending more mud tendrils, stone spires and sharp pebbles at the girl, but she just charged head long through it all, her body was cut and bruised as she caught the slower opponent, then with a sadistic smile her form changed and instead of her fingertips she was attacking with the base of her palm, she danced around the opponent somewhat gracefully as she attacked. “Left temple, Right temple, Forehead, Nose, Chin, Throat, Upper Vertebrae, Solar Plexus…” She then pulled back her arm for the final blow, coating her palm in a thick layer of chakra before striking the stunned opponent. “Heart.” She said as her hand remained on the clones chest as she pumped chakra into its heart until it quite literally exploded in a pretty gory fireworks display.

Torachis whole body sank as the workout came to an end; she was covered in blood, sweat and dirt and she could honestly say it was the best she’d felt in her entire life. With a smile on her face she shuffled her way over to the edge of the room where she’d left some of her stuff next, it was the area where people or examiners would sit when people were training or doing exams respectively. She first grabbed a bottle of water and drank several big mouthfuls as she fell into the seat, then proceeded to pour the remainder of the bottle over her head and face. “That right you fucks!” She began to say out loud, not even looking to see if anyone was even around anymore. “I’ll surpass your fuckin’ clan with or without my fuckin’ eyes. Prepare to eat shit!” She announced to seemingly no one as she took a towel and placed it over her face and leant back in the chair, waiting for her muscles to cool off so she could go take a shower without feeling like she was made of lead.

What was it? Something about today made Yoshi overwhelm with energy. Or maybe just extreme boredom as he was given a day off. It was uncommon to have a day off, maybe something was wrong within the ANBU branch.

It didn't matter, he'd use this particular day to hone his skill while others laid and relaxed. Changing up his usual routine, Yoshi decided to choose a new place to practice. A place only a few probably visited often. Especially individuals of his caliber. Entering the obstacle course of the Aurora Eruditio, the sound of chatter could be heard. "Someone's here." Yoshi thought as he sighed. It wasn't a problem, he just didn't expect any company. Making his way through the facility, he already began cracking his knuckles.

As he grew closer, the babbling grew stronger along with colliding blows, frustration, the smell of blood, and Heat. Yeah, Yoshi was definitely in a training area. Tightening his head band, he placed a hand on his face. "Silly me." Yoshi thought shaking his head. The lad was so use to being behind his mask, having it off felt a bit weird. Especially outside the facility. Using the mask summoning technique, Yoshi equipped his mask and became Tensai.

Entering the room, he didn't pay the young lady no mind. He wouldn't want to distract her or get in the way, it was obvious she was blowing off steam. All men knew not to bother an angry women right? Moving on, he put his back pack down to the side and began his own simulation. Three full clones emerged, ready for battle. "Let's go." Yoshi thought as the exercise began.

His mind immediately transcended to a battle state. A stage which was never seen for long as Tensai ended battles as quick as possible. Sparring around in the ANBU facility, Some said battles with Tensai were over before they even started. He saw things in slow motion, his speed was unmatched, and he was a genius, which explained his operative name.

Making his first move, Tensai used little to no speed. Classical hand to hand battle hardened Taijutsu. His punches were precise and on target, but often met strong blocks. The clones worked in unison, creating diverse counter moves to target Tensais vital areas. Using his speed, he dodged carefully as he often came within centimeters of getting hit. The yellow haired male was truly a prodigy and was getting his workout.

Meanwhile, the lady also training was amping things up a notch. Her anger filled the room as she called out areas of the body. Apparently, she was calling targets that were being hit one by one. Raising a brow behind his mask, Tensais eyes shifted to the girl. "Hyuuga..."" Tensai thought being quite familiar with the gentle fist style. Sadly, not paying attention nearly got him kicked in the chest. Putting up a cross block, he was sent sliding back several feet.

Simultaneously, dozens on shuriken was sent his way. "Damn it.." Tensai thought pulling out one of his specialized Kunai. After twirling it at the hilt on his index finger, Tensai immediately began blocking the various shuriken. His eyes and body constantly moved as his agility was being put to the test. Surprisingly, the shuriken was only a diversion.

A clone immediately attempted to side swipe Tensai with a katana. His heart was finally beginning to warm up to the battle. Dodging the blade and attempting a few strikes of his own, Tensai was quite surprised as the clones was holding their grounds. Listening to the hyuuga, a part of Tensai wanted to face palm. Partially because If those weren't clones, she'd be a dead blind hyuuga. Announcing every move and jutsu you made just wasn't intelligent.

Once again not paying attention, Tensai was struck several times. A foot swiped across the left side of his face as a fist connected with his stomach. Lastly, an uppercut sent him flying backwards. Recovering, Tensai shook his head. It had been awhile since he'd been hit like that. Pain surged through his body, sending adrenaline through his veins. "Hmph." Tensai mumbled as the clones were preparing for another assault.

"Well, this was great for warm ups." Tensai thought rushing in. Smirking behind his mask, everything was already sealed the moment he wanted to end things. In a mere second, Tensai delivered three crucial blows using his reality bending speed, ultimately blasting through his opponents. They seemed to soar as Tensai came to a halt. One clone even landed near the hyuuga, dispersing right in front of her as she spectated near Tensais backpack. "Water break. Then, I bump it up a notch." Yoshi thought making his way over to his bag. "Whew, how are you? Enjoying the work out?" Yoshi said speaking to be polite as he sat next to her. Reaching into his bag, he grabbed his water bottle. "If you need some healing, I can patch you up if you like." Yoshi said looking at the girl. her body was beaten, It was obvious that she had been there quite some time unlike Yoshi. Her training routine must've been something else.

Twice in the past year had her skills in Taijutsu failed her, once leading to the loss of an eye, and the other landing her through a wooden crate and onto the ground of a junky's den, she had long since came to the conclusion that she would never come to match the greats in close quarters combat, while she had speed and grace she lacked raw strength and had been taught no techniques in battling stronger opponents than her, the only reason she had survived her encounters was a mixture of sheer luck and quick thinking, finding that no matter how strong a man might be he was susceptible to a blade to the throat and a kick to the groin, but even this was not enough to secure a certain victory against her enemies. So, once again she found herself training in the ways of completely avoiding situations where she would be forced to deal with an enemy more versed in Taijutsu than she, and like the others there today she found herself training with a set of clones, though she was not nearly as boisterous as the scarred woman, nor was she as apt at dispatching her clones than the yellow haired man.

Her training was also not nearly as high impact as the others, being of the mind set that over training was, perhaps, even worse than under training. The strikes of her clone were of a steady flow, an unending flurry of attacks began to approach her, though their speed was less than half of which the yellow haired was dealing with, with each strike she dodged under, around, and above with the flexibility and practice of a gymnast trained in martial combat. She had always has a natural skill and grace when it came to avoiding attacks, though it had failed her several times before, the only remedy for her failures was of course further training, while she wanted to show off a bit with fanciful cartwheels, pirouettes, and other nonsense Chiyoko was acutely aware that those techniques were ineffective in the field and lead to more trouble than they were worth. So, she stuck to the basics maintaining enough distance from her clone to ensure she was out of grabbing range, and well within the range of her ninjutsu.

She actually seemed to be doing fairly well for a few minutes until the shouts from the scarred woman began to break her concentration, a venial sin in moments of combat, and one she payed for with a right hook to her kidney, the punch landed harder than she had expected her clone to be able to manage knocking the wind from her lungs as it closed the distance on her once again, mounting atop of her and landing her in a familiar situation, "Fuck!" unable to contain her obvious aggravation from her newly found situation the girl yelled, as the clone landed another blow to her eyebrow and opening the scar tissue that surrounded it. Another failure. As they say, for every thousand failures there is one success, but today would not be that day, she would manage to remove herself from her situation but not before harming herself once again, as if it was some vicious cycle she was caught in.

Normally she did not like exerting unneeded Chakra in her training, but her situation called for it, she would be taking her aggravation out upon the poor clone she had formed earlier. Despite having her hands locked behind her the girl managed to form the handsigns for her gravity Jutsu, she would be squeezing the literal shit from the poor bastard of a clone she had enlisted in helping her train. Pressure rocketed through the entire being of her clone, as if it was being compressed by some otherworldly force, a normal person's organs would be collapsing in on themselves, and their eyes would be popping out of their dome, but in this particular case the body dissipated into a fine mist of water raining down upon her, signifying she had ousted the clone.

Touching her fingers to her eyebrow the girl stared back at the warm red liquid surrounding her fingers, the wound likely wasn't large enough to require stitches, which she was more than thankful for, though it would certainly hurt like hell the next day. While she did not intend to end her match in such a way a victory was a victory, though not as concise of one as she had initially wished for. Sitting the warm liquid that had began to pool immediately ran down her causing her to quickly wipe it away and search for the bottle she had brought with her, as a developing alkie she had opted for something that would do the exact opposite of hydrate her in the wake of her training, grain alcohol sat in her bottle disguised as water. While she had initially intended to end her training session by getting royally fucked, the alcohol would now serve as an antiseptic, a really painful one. The towel she had been using was already soaked with sweat and using it would only defeat the purpose of using the alcohol in the first place and she was far too proud, more like stupid, to request a towel from the other two. So she sat in somber silence with the look of a defeated puppy dog resting upon her face as she set to dousing the wound with a bottle of 190 proof liquor, needless to say there was a lot of cringing involved.

Standing she pressed a hand over her eyebrow walking toward the other two all the while smelling like a distillery, clearly she was done with her training at least for a while, and had little else to do than speak with the other two people training, clearly they had as little life as she did. "Heh, looks like you both fared better than I did." She joked, though her wound was already beginning to heal, inhuman ninja constitution was awesome.

The girl remained in her reclined position, not even flinching at the body landing in front of her as her breathing slowly began to return to normal as she lounged with the towel lay out upon her face, a big hidden smile on her lips. Her plans were bearing fruit, she was able to do things without her Byakugan that should be near impossible including the Kaiten technique which usually takes advantage of the total vision and on top of that she could still pick out the tenketsu as if the past eight years hadn’t happened. The sounds of the other people going about their training was a soothing one and one she wished she’d gotten used to sooner, it was now more than ever that she hated her past self and the way she used to be. It was then that an unfamiliar voice spoke to her and she felt them taking a seat next to her and whilst she’d have normally been all shy and awkward talking to a stranger, her good mood and adrenaline helped her to act at least half normal. “Fan-fucking-tastic!” She exclaimed from under the damp and slightly bloody white cloth. “Not felt so fuckin’ good in years.” She added as she sat up slightly and pulled the towel from her face, feeling it was slightly rude to not at least look at the person she was talking too.

She would give a chuckle as he mentioned her injuries, honestly she hadn’t even noticed but she could imagine someone looking from the outside would have some concern as cuts covered her body from head to toe thanks to the clones earth jutsu, she was of course careful to hide all the scars on her wrists with a pair of arm guards though the one on her throat was fully displayed and a little itchy from the sweat. “Well, these are nothing really; quick shower and they’ll heal up. It’s not like I don’t have any noticeable scars anyway.” She said, giving a faker laugh than her previous, oh how she hated having to hide the gruesome truth behind her scars from people. She reached up for her throat and rubbed at it whilst her empty grey eyes looked toward the male, she smiled at him and spoke. “Name’s Torachi by the way, are you down here for training or fun?” She’d ask curiously, seems a lot of people did just visit the grounds just to have fun with their friends and blow off a little steam, they were more prominent that the serious ninja actually training but they were dotted about.

Observing another individual in the distance, Yoshi eyes analyzed the girls struggles dealing with her clone. A part of him wanted to help, but she wasn't about to die, Not yet at least.

"Fan-fucking-tastic!”
“Not felt so fuckin’ good in years.”

Looking at the breathing injury prone female, she somewhat startled Yoshi from his analyzation with her outburst. Behind his mask, Yoshi raised an eyebrow after blanking several times as his ears rung a little. "Heh" Yoshi said with a pause as he smirked behind his mask. "Battle intrigues you that much huh?" Yoshi asked rhetorically. She reminded him of one of his pops feline contracts. Rambunctious, loud, foul mouthed, and quick tempered. Thinking this, Yoshi was oddly looking at her behind his mask as he was trying to piece things together.

"Well, these are nothing really; quick shower and they’ll heal up. It’s not like I don’t have any noticeable scars anyway.”

"This is true." Yoshi said bluntly agreeing in a truthful manor. Not to offend her, but to be on the same course of understanding. He could feel himself looking at her weird, so he turned his head towards the other individual that managed to handle herself on the obstacle course.

"Name’s Torachi by the way, are you down here for training or fun?”

"Well, training. Trainings fun most of the time, so both. Training and fun, the best of both worlds." Yoshi said jokingly. "Name's Tensai by the way, what has you so rilled up? Or are you always this way when it comes to combat and life?" Yoshi said as the smell of alcohol increased. looking at Torachi, she seemed as if she knew pain, something Yoshi was very accustomed to due to being raised on the streets.

"Heh, looks like you both fared better than I did."

"Welcome to the party. Well, by your smell, your party began moments ago." Yoshi said jokingly at the walking pint of liquor. "Would you like some healing? Or will you let the shower take care of your wounds too?" Yoshi questioned waiting on a reply. After watching the girl for quite sometime, a part of Yoshi believed she'd deny his offer. He could be wrong though.

The stinging from her alcohol treatment had begun to subside as she walked toward the masked man and his newly found scarred companion, her party had in fact started moments before, though it was a lot less fun than her smell gave off. As far as medical treatment went the gash on her eyebrow was nothing more than a flesh wound, it was unlikely that it would require stitches let alone field treatment, though his offer was appreciated. "Not a good training session until there's a bit of blood, think I'll be fine." Her eye darted toward the woman, whose name she had just overheard as Torachi the man was Tensai or Tensei if she heard correctly, drawing in the scar round her neck unsure whether it was self inflicted or not. It was not an uncommon sight in the Shinobi world for depression to set in, and with depression came morbid inclinations, Chiyoko was much more a fan of self medication. Realizing that she hadn't introduced herself to the other two, "Oh, I'm Chiyoko by the way." Removing her hand from her eyebrow the girl wiped the dried blood against the side of her pants thinking back as she thought if she had seen the scarred woman, Torachi, before perhaps she lived in the Cronopolis? She did know, however, that she had never seen the masked man before, or so she thought.

"You from the Cronopolis? Not too many other Shinobi down there, lot of people try to avoid us Wakahisa." A slight smile supplanted her face, she was still largely unsure if she had seen the woman before, but something told her that she was the type to live in her little quarter of the village. Looking back the yellow haired figure she wondered where he lived within the confines of Kumogakure, "And I'm guessing you're from around the Seki district, right?" her speculations were nothing more than just that. His visage was far too clean and precise for her to think he lived in the slums as she did, trademarks of the village yuppie.

Taking a step back she dug her hands through her pockets searching for the pack of cigarettes she knew were within the confines of her pants, digging out the black package to find several beaten and bent cigarettes. Putting one between her lips she lit the smoke noting how poorly it burned after the abuse it suffered in her pocket, but it was better than nothing.
