Enough is Enough [Hokage Topic]

[Uchiha Takeshi]

Takeshi allowed himself to stand in the office, he had his hands on the desk and his head held down as he looked at the reports. The reports that had continued to come in it seemed that nothing had changed, the anger on his face and the rage inside of him showed as much. Takeshi allowed himself to stand there silent the birds tweeting from the top of the Hokage mansion, he had enough of the games. Enough of the trying to help, enough of trying to solve the issues of everyone. Today was the day that Takeshi failed to look after the village. He was damned if he let Maru stay, dammed if he forced him out. The situation shattered the very core of the Hokage.

“Go get me Tamashii and Summon Maru. I want him brought here under the guard of the ANBU. Failure to see this done will result in the hunters being unlocked form the Kages. Both of you go now”

With that Takeshi watched the men vanish to there duties, he allowed himself to stand there leaning over the desk still and the frown never once leaving his face as he waited in the office of the Hokage. It seemed that this was his first failure as Hokage, and one that would etch itself into his memory.

Just so happened to be walking into the offices of the Hokage as the member was being sent for him, Tamashii who had taken a breather over the last week or so was recovering well from his self inflicted injuries. He walked with a cane now, but he seemed to be more spry now than he did weeks before. The Rehab was doing him all sorts of good. There seemed to be much more going on in his head that would definitely allow him to corner and cover all the things he needed to do on the course of his attractions. 'Wonder what he wanted me for?' nodding he would open the door to Takeshi's office with a bright smile on his face, something had changed in him. He was... genuinely better. And every day that would pass from here he would act with a clear head. Things would tend to go over his head with anger and angst, but he was better now. Thats all that mattered..

"Hokage-sama... You rang for me? And whats this about the Student Maru? I managed to actually have his file on me because I was wondering why his rank was so quickly moved up... Then-... Well none of that matters. What did you need, sir?", Tamashii would make his way to the front of the desk before resting the documents against his hips with an eye looking directly at Takeshi, this had to have been important... his tone before seemed more strickenly stern than usual.

Maru was making his way to the academy when suddenly two Anbu came to him, he smacked his plastic lips pretty irritated at the sight of them, knowing that there was nothing good that would come of their presence. Looks like all his misdeeds were catching up with him, now it looked like he was gonna pay for it. Maru walked with them, heading to the hokage’s mansion with his hands in his pockets. Then he stepped through the door seeing the raging face of the hokage before him, he raised his hand and simply said. "Well this better be good green hair, make it quick because I'm busier than a one legged man at a butt kicking contest.” Maru stepped in, looking around clearly being guarded. Not being guarded in a way that he needed protection but guarded in a way he needed to be watched because he was a prisoner.

Maru being a bit uncomfortable with this, his face turned sour and he raised his hands up as if he was in a western stick up. “Whatever it was I didn't do it."

Takeshi allowed himself to watch as Maru entered the office, his fists became clenched as he pondered on going all out in assaulting. But held himself in place for those few seconds, as he allowed himself to ponder on the actions and debate the best action that should be taken in this situation though he would give Maru a few seconds if that to hold himself accountable. Though he wondered if the kid could even do that, as Tamashii was already there he decided to get straight to the point instead of just dancing around the issue. He sighed before opening the folder and looking down at the content.

“Maru, you are here to answer for you actions. As it stands you are accused of the following: Disrespecting Peers and Tutors, antagonising fellow Shinobi to Fight, Refusing to work with others, Mentally Scaring academy Students, Destruction of ANBU property, Looting in Tea country, Arson in tea country, Destruction of property ion tea, Fighting in tea country, Graverobbing, Attempted Murder, Looting once more in Tea, Drawing AiT into conflict in Foreign Land, Causing fights with other Shinobi from villages. Provoking a Sennin in front of outsiders. How do you plea to the charges above?”

Takeshi was direct and to the point, this list had been gathered for various times with meetings with most of the people he was fighting with as well as being there himself on a fair few of the occasions. It was time to really see how Maru considered his actions.

Maru heard his list of bad deeds being read out to him once more, looks like this was going to be a trail but he already knew that he was guilty. He told him all this when he came to his office, hell he even saw a few went down. Perhaps he expected for him to plea innocent, in which he wasn't so he might as well just own up to it. “Yup, I did all that. I'll plea guilty to all of it.” He said, standing up straight as he looked over to see that one of the men standing before him was that pansy of a teacher he had his first class with. Honestly he wanted to shoot an insult at him, but it looks like this wasn't no time to be joking around so he simply thought of the insults he had in his head before finally turning his head back to the hokage.

“And all due respect some of those aren't even crimes. I mean disrespecting students and tutors? Provoking a Senin in front of a mercenary? I mean come on.” He held his arms up, surely merely spitting a few unfriendly words wasn't a crime, and working together with others isn't exactly law. Honestly if he was going to be on trail for things like that then he might as well take in some of these other students who just so happen to have mean things to say. So why was that counted, then again why was he even here to begin with. Was he gonna go to prison?

Takeshi allowed himself to look at Maru, the gaze never yielding as he allowed himself to draw out a black book from his draw, he allowed himself to open the book to a blank page as he looked down before writing it in, the simple works where were clear that this was the village Bingo book, it was the book that indicated those that the village would kill on sight and it seemed that Maru’s face was already inside of it. He was under the orders to be killed now by the village it seemed that he had no place here and Takeshi had secured that fate in those few seconds.

“Maru, it seems that you have been not taking heed of any of the warnings that have been given to you. You have not heard anything anyone has said to you. You have not even tried to make amends for your action. And now it has cause damage to this village. I will not let that stand and now you have proven yourself to be reckless.”

He closed the bingo book and handed it over to Tamashii, the record was sealed and now so was Maru’s fate. He wanted to keep this short, he pitied the man in front of him, yet felt more disappointment that he was having to resort to this action today he allowed himself to walk around the desk and lean against it standing in front of Maru.

“Your headband, give it to me, you no longer belong to this village. You are an exile, the taint and disgrace that you bring will be your own and not this villages. From today Maru, if you ever come to my village. I will put you in the ground, and make sure you do not return.”

Shocked, Maru held his hands up dropping his little bad boy attitude to try to plea to stay. "Whoa, whoa, now let's talk this thing out… Errm Lord Hokage.” He had to say something to change his mind, his fate depended on it. "Now I admit that I have been a bit wild lately but I get it now. I mean I don't really know how I would make amends for my mistakes but if you can just like give me another chance I promise I'll be different. Truth be told when you first met me I wanted to attack everything and everyone but now I wouldn't even lay a hand on someone who is weaker than me. Not to mention most of the academy students I get along with, and some I can say I actually care about even though most of the people I care about seem to see me as annoying. “ he was pretty much spilling his guts at this point, desperately trying to convince the man to try to let him say. Hell he would've gotten on his knees at this point.

"Like that fight in tea with that Ziren and that guy, I didn't even turn a sword to some girl who was clearly not strong enough to handle me. Not to mention I didn't attempt to strike Soku nor would I even attack Asuka despite both of them pretty much not really liking me. Honestly would you really put me in the bingo book knowing that I am not as viscous as I seem to be?” He asked, however before he could answer he continued. "Look how about throw me in prison, beat me down, take my puppets, just anything besides exile. Okay, I get it. Lesson learned. You won't hear about another bad deed. Common please.” He placed both hands in front of him then bowed, aggressively. Seemed for the first time the prideful Maru was actually afraid.

Tamashii listened to everything, taking the book after Takeshi had finished with it. The Tall dark haired male would look down at Maru as he groveled, and he seemed to be a middle aged teen. Which in this life was as old as many shinobi got before they were killed in battle. However, why had they not just killed him? If the transgression was enough, wouldnt they serve better to just kill the boy and be done with it? Tamashii liked to have things cleaned and nicely wrapped in a bow. However, dealing with Maru as he did some time ago when the boy was in the academy he was abrasive and hard to work with. However, when you started to take things away he would straighten up for a bit only to fall back into his normal routine... So what did you take away to make him complete? His life.

"If I may interject, Hokage-sama. As Personal Adviser I'd like to state that, in stories... Its always the young boy who is exiled that comes back to wreck havoc on the very place that sent him into exile. So, If you're not going to kill him... I'd say it'd be best to throw him in jail, take away his freedoms, until you see fit to give him an odd chance at redemption... It may seem, Barbaric...", Tamashii would pause, looking down to Maru and shaking his head, "It may even be too just for a boy that has done so much evil in his short life... but, I suggest giving him a fight for his life. If he loses the fight. He loses his life. If he wins, he'll be given a clean slate. With transgressions of the past being locked away for those only who know of his true deeds to be able to cast aspersions against him.", nodding once again Tamashii would smirk, but playing this role was what he did. Giving insight to another way of doing things while getting the desired results.

Takeshi allowed himself to glance over to Tamashii as the man spoke, it seemed that he had wisdom in his words and Takeshi would not ignore that. He hired the man specifically for that duty and he would not just abandon the words that he spoke. As he allowed himself tilted his head he allowed a sinister smirk to cross his lips in those few seconds. He decided to give the boy a choice, that was something that he had not given Takeshi by bringing his upon him. He allowed himself to consider the options that lay before him, pondering if he wanted to just be done with him. But Maru put up for the first time ever what would be considered an emotion.

“Your right Tamashii, but let us see what Maru decides, after all he will be the one to truly proves how much this village means to him. So Maru option one is you give your headband now and leave the village, gone for ever and you stay in that black book to be hunted down. Option two is that I throw you in Jail, for how long I don’t know but do not expect to walk out of that jail anytime soon. Option three, you fight for your right to stay inside of leaf, you pick any other S-Rank Ninja inside of Leaf. You give it everything you have got, if you win, you stay. If you lose however, you have that shame over you until you end your own life.”

Takeshi offered the man a way out via death, suicide to be blunt something that Maru deserved if he lost. The question would be what option the puppet would pick as he stood there waiting to see what offer would be accepted. What deal would be done.

Maru was given three choices, each will most likely not end well for him. He could take the exile, risk losing the people he cares about to go and live by his own rules. He could take jail time, let them keep him there for however long he wanted until they wanted and would probably end in a execution. Then there was a option of a fight to prove his worth and if he lost he would have to commit suicide. Either way, the choices would involve him being in the ground somehow so it looks like there was the only one option. Pretty much the best option so far….

“Well, to be perfectly honest either way I'm gonna end up being in the ground somehow.” Maru said, reaching for his hand inside of his pouch then pulled out his konoha headband then placed it in Takeshi's hand. “Honestly I don't think I fit into this village, it was fun while it lasted but it looks like I'm not needed around here anyway. So I'm gonna take the exile.” He said, it was pretty much the last bad decision he made as a konoha shinobi. He met a ninja before who said he simply left the village, and to be honest he could see why he left. Now it was time for the dark clouds to pass on, to find something different. Although it kinda feels like he lost an arm since he wanted to accomplish so much, he actually felt like it was for the best that he was to just cut his losses and leave.

Shaking his head Tamashii would step back, "...PItiful. You had a chance to bring your name back to some subpar standing... but you are the worst sort of Shinobi. You begged for your life... to stay here one moment then turned your back at the prospect of having to fight for it? After all you've done you're not even willing to fight? You dont deserve the air in your lungs nor the soul in your body." Tamashii would shake his head once more with the look of disgust on his face. Whatever ounce of respect Tamashii had for the boy... was gone now.

"As you will Hokage-sama... The boy's dumb... Dumb and will be dead sooner than he believes..." There was nothing left to place in this, just a step back again to get himself as far away from that sense of mediocrity as he could... this was not a place for the boy. Konoha was a place for those who fought for their pride, and fought until their last breaths. But Maru had shown his hand... wanting to take the easy way out of life, it would surely catch up with him one day.

Takeshi allowed himself to head to the door of the office, he allowed himself those few seconds to ponder about the reply that was given, shaking his head he had to agree with Tamashii it seemed that the man of wisdom was right. He had no reason to want to keep him around and Takeshi felt the same. He allowed his headset to go as he took it out of the desk, simply beeping for Kenshin to come to the office it seemed that silence was around them all, but Takeshi would cut threw that in a few seconds.

“You are hereby banished from the village, stripped of all privileges and revoked the right to travel under the name of Leaf. You are now given the rank of Mercenary. You are now in the bingo book, hear me well if you ever come back here. I will kill you.”

Takeshi was firm and straight forward, he had to do what was expected of him and would give the orders for Kenshin to allowing himself to wait for Kenshin to take him from the village. He had removed all the privileges of Maru, the boy was exiled from the village as he waited for Kenshin to escort him out of the village he turned to Tamashii his face changed slightly.

“Stay behind please my friend”

Kenshin would appear shortly. He was nearby in his office working on some paperwork. It seemed endless. As he approached her would hear Takeshi's words. It would seem that his job was a simple one.

Kenshin was wearing his standard black training gear and his sennin robe. He was surprised to see the group there.

"It will be done Lord Hokage." Kenshin would bow and look at Maru his grey eyes piercing.

"You are following me to the gates. You are to keep within eyesight of me. If you try to escape I will fight you and I will kill you. This is your only warning.". Kenshin would say.

He would bow again and open the door his eyes on Maru.

Maru looked at Takeshi opened the door, then stepped in a guy who seemed to be assigned to take him away, and that was alright with him. "Aye, not trying to escape. I just want out.” He said, letting Tamashii words go in one ear and out the other. Honestly there wasn't a need to tell him that he wasn't welcomed within the village, truth be told he didn't really had plans on coming back to the village at all. Wasn't like he had anything in the village anyway, he lost most of his puppets, he lost his demonic ancestry, he lost his status as a Anbu, and now he lost his citizenship in the village. Now it looks like he had to walk a path of chaos, nothing but the darkness in front of him.

Maru couldn't help but smirk, then he went with the man without saying a word. Causing trouble here, some of the people he met, and some of his rivals will probably be missed for a moment. Then forgotten… Now it was time for a new quest, a new journey that will most likely end in his downfall but he had to say he'll live until that day comes.

Takeshi watched as Kenshin and Maru left the room. It seemed that the deed was done, and the pact had been completed, he knew full well that there was no turning back from his actions at all. There was nothing he could do and nothing that would keep him safe. Takeshi allowed himself to lean back and look at Tamashii before standing himself back up, pondering on the reply he knew that he had to change as well. He had to improve himself and that would be something that he would have to deal with. If it was for the right or the wrong situation he pondered on the words.

“Tamashii, I will have need of you in the future. I have some changes that I need to make myself as such I will see you summoned to my house hold in the next few days.”

With that Takeshi allowed himself to walk out of the door. It seemed that he had known full well that the weight would have to be on his shoulders for Maru being sentenced to Exile. He just hoped the boy would come to understand why he had made such a decision on this task at hand.
