Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Akane looked over at Kitsune as she told her she had done a good job, which brought a grin to her face. She just was doing what she thought needed to be done, but after this, she felt the need to hit the books, hard. She didn't want to be clueless again, so that would be her goal. Studying medical stuff. She did good this time, but who knows what would happen next time. She watched Kitsune use Mystical hands on the man at a higher skill level, Akane wanted to learn more medical jutsu as well.

"Thank you Kitsune-Sensei." She stated with a big cheeky grin, then she looked over at Osu, she had been so busy with her patient, she never thought to look at Osu and see how he was doing. She wondered what was wrong with her, but it was loosely answered by Kitsune. The human body was so weird, but it made her want to explore it more, and learn everything she could.

Akane noticed Yoshi was gone, she didn't remember him leave, but once again she was too busy with her patient. She wondered if he figured out what was wrong with his patient, but his looked like it was just a flu or something.

But Akane turned her Attention back to Kitsune, as she heard they past the 'test'. This was a test?! Akane blinked, and then grinned, she was now a med nin in training, and had a new job. Hopefully she would excel at both, this was her goal, now her goal was to gain more knowledge, save lives, and climb the ranks.

Akane jumped in excitement, unable to contain it, she then threw her fist at Osu's shoulder. "This is great Osu! We made it in! Now we'll be co-workers!" She exclaimed to him cheerfully.

Osu was relieved when Kitsune told him well done. He initially blanked out and panicked but had managed to regroup and got the job done as it needed to be. He was both a bit embarrassed at his blundering and rather proud that the sennin had praised him which forced a small blush and a stiff but obvious gleam of pride in his usually stoic face. He heard Kitsune diagnose the patient without even waiting on the tests. He wanted to be knowledgeable enough in medicine to one day be just like the woman before him. Then she told them they had passed her test.

Akane reacted first as Osu was shocked by the news. He was an MiT. He was now a real shinobi, no longer an academy student, he was now able to go on big adventures and help people as a member of the hospital. His small look of pride from before turned into a full blown grin as Akane punched his shoulder. "This is great Osu! We made it in! Now we'll be co-workers!" Osu looked at her and began laughing like the sweet little 8-year-old he appeared to be. Osu grabbed Akane's hands and said, "We did it Akane! We'll be co-workers!" while jumping up and down for a few seconds before rushing and giving Kitsune a brief hug saying, "I'm a shinobi now! I'm a MiT!" and giggling before saying, "Thank you Kitsune-Sensei," temporarily breaking his normal honorifics habit.

At that point he realized he had just made a rather large scene in front of other people. He quickly pulled away from Kitsune, face returning to normal aside from being as red as his eyes, and then taking his scarf and mummifying his head so no one could see his embarrassment. After he had everything fully covered up except his vision, Osu bowed deeply towards Kitsune and said, "I look forward to working and learning under you Kitsune-Sama," before attempting to tighten the scarf around his head as if that would somehow protect him from his embarrassment.

Kitsune grinned and patted Osu on the head when he hugged her. ”Well, before you two go, we do need one more thing. Stand perfectly still.” she said and snapped her fingers only to have six shinobi armed with measuring bands, rulers, and various other tailoring equipment show up, grab their measurements and vanish just as quickly. In case the kids asked about what just happened Kitsune would smile ”Well, we did need your measurements for your new scrubs, right? They were my fashion ninjas. I keep them employed because they’re damn near the best tailors I’ve ever had. All of my outfits are custom made by them. And, all the scrubs in the hospital are measured by them, and sent to mass production. Of course in your case, that means you’ll be measured regularly as you grow.” she said and smirked.

”Well, that’s all for today. You two run along. I’ll be… Doing more paperwork.” she said, sighing afterwards and walking off towards her office.

Akane grinned at Osu as he took her hands, this didn't seem like him, but now that she thought about it... She didn't know him all to well, but she still considered him a friend. She didn't know if she would have time in the future to make close friends, she would see later on though..

”Well, before you two go, we do need one more thing. Stand perfectly still.”

Akane looked over at Kitsune, after she was hugged by Osu. Suddenly people with measuring tapes, and such came in and started taking their measurements. It was so fast she didn't realize what happen until they left. Her questions were answered by kitsune before she could ask. Akane nodded to her, they'd be getting scrubs, how fun. Akane offered her a smile.

"Alrighty, Kitsune Sensei. Thank you again for making as into mednin's in training. I look forward to working here." Akane gave a bow to Kitsune, then she gave Osu one last grin. She didn't know it at this time, but this would probably be the last time she saw Osu, seeing as she would be called upon by her mentor for a long, but short trip, maybe for him it'd be a few weeks, but for her, it would be a few years until she saw him again. If she knew what the plan was, she probably would have gave him more of a goodbye instead she gave him a "See you later look".
"See ya around Osu. I cant wait to start working with you!" Akane explained then she took off running to go tell her mother the big news.

Still horribly embarrassed with such a public display Osu simply listened to Kitsune through his scarf as suddenly he felt people pulling things around him and letting go and it was just too quick for him to really know what had happened. Apparently he had just been measured by fashion ninjas... Fascinating. He had never even heard of such a thing. A full sizing in that short amount of time though could not be argued with, such was beyond simple professional work.

The other two quickly went on their ways and Osu gave each of them a bow as they left. Osu had to adjust the eye opening of his scarf to have a better view as he left the hospital. As he finally made it out and was fairly sure no one could see him, he loosened the scarf and let it drape around his neck once more. On minute he could not express and emotion, the next too much. It was like flood gates each time and he just did not have a firm control over them when they started rushing. Sometimes it was okay, if embarrassing scenes like spontaneous hugs and jumping. Other times it was those cold superior feelings, feelings of control over others but ironically not himself. He sighed knowing that his only possible solution for it was to practice expressing emotion in private. If anyone saw him doing that they would think him crazy though, so he had been extra careful about when he practiced.

He headed back his greatest and most recent source of worry, home. At least it was home so much as it was where he slept. The guards opened the gates as he approached The main walkway that led to the different mansions. He went onto the second path from the right which led back to the Second Mansion where he lived. He entered the building and was immediately accompanied by the maids (and a couple butlers) who had been informed of his arrival by the gates guards and were prepared for him. He gave one of the maids a general report of what he had done that day and got a small round of applause upon mention of his promotion. "So young!" "And a doctor!" "He will make some lucky girl happy one day." He listened to their praises with a great amount of embarrassment until he heard the distinct and purposeful footsteps that could only belong to Tanake, the head butler of the estate.

"Young Master Osuteno, good to see you are home. You seem exhausted, did your meeting go well?" Osu explained his day to the butler who simply nodded. "Such accomplishments are expected of you. Now let us hurry and get you prepared for dinner, you shall be eating with Mistress Manane and her children tonight." Osu fought hard to hide his grimace. His "Aunt" Manane had been the side branch head to take him in. She was the only side branch head not to have a son and until Osu came along she was looking at having to send one of her three daughters to enter Kumo's shinobi system as is customary for the Chigokai clan. Her daughters were four, eight, and twelve years old and had been very close to being forced to pick among the older two to become shinobi and possibly die on behalf of the village when they could be future business and warriors solely for the clan. He knew the woman considered him a necessary annoyance and so from time to time she would "invite" him to dinner.

It was always a painfully uncomfortable affair and this time was no different. Not a single word was said during the roughly half hour event. From past experiences Osu knew he needed to eat slowly to avoid having to force a conversation. He could tell his "cousins" were rather uncomfortable too with how tense these occasions were, while his aunt simply ate her food in near silence. The food was amazing as always, though he would have to wait till possibly the next day to pay his compliments directly to the chefs when he would sneak to the kitchens and hang out for a while and learn a bit about cooking. He had to sneak about and do it because his aunt... strongly disapproved of his fraternization with the servants. The last time he had been caught doing so she decided to be his tutor in the Chigokai abilities by showing him how to properly boil an enemy's blood... It was a very enlightening experience and probably good to know what the enemy would actually feel though it was a lesson he didn't want to repeat anytime soon.

Mistress Manane waved one of the butlers over to give her the end of the day reports of the children's day. He noticed that during the report she flicked her eyes briefly at him, but said nothing. He hadn't really expected much, she did not really acknowledge him too much, not to say he didn't receive every luxury staying in her home, but he would not hold his breath for any sort of meaningful conversation. It was at times like this that he missed living in a room above the old tea shop. The rest of dinner was dominated by silence and silverware clinking. When he was finally dismissed after what seemed like forever he noticed Tanake in the hallway coming from the stairs that lead to his room. Tanake nodded respectfully as he went to check on the state of the other mansions and Osu headed on up. When he got to his room he noticed a small piece of cake with nine candles in it. Osu gave a small smile and felt just a bit better. It seemed like he got a birthday present a few hours early.
