It was here, surrounded by the misty fog of falls and heated springs. The calm nature, crisp clean air he would breathe deep into his lungs through his pair of nostrils. The academy student stood firm, feet shoulder length apart, as casual stance his normal hues observed the area before him. Tranquility… The moment he felt before… Screams… Swords clashing… The deafening sound of thunder within range of a neighboring room. The pounding from his ear drum which bled, these horrid memories. The murder and assassination of his father and mother… How helpless he was then…

The student forcefully shut his lids slightly whipping his head to the side causing slight tears to drip from the corner of his eyes. In a flash his right arm clenched his top blade across his back while his left reached for his hip, gripping the hilt of his Kodaci. Training wasn’t enough he could never activate this hidden gift of Byakugan. He shouted out a fervent battle cry seemingly almost whiny at the thought of his deceased parents.

"Ahhhhhhhhhggghhhhhhhh!!!!"

The stillness of the springs was cut short by his battle cry and the metal on metal screeching as the blades were removed from their beautifully crafted sheaths. A gust of wing began to swirl around his feet, chakra emanating from all around him as his eyes shut even tighter almost fighting himself. His energies were blazing from the feet up traveling quickly to the blood vessels around his eyes as he focused. He remembered the screams, he heard them well… He remembered the names, clan emblem… The fierce vengeance was a bursting fire churning his ninja spirit. He gripped his blades tighter, teeth clenched.

“I can see my past… And I can see the now… I am here, a student of the lightning village… My vengeance will be to become an undefeatable Hyuuga swordsman! With my all-seeing eye!”

His eyes burst open, veins around his eyes bulging as the world before him began to shed a new light. He saw the energy of the water, the energy of the trees and the life streams within the animals that frolicked. Not only that, he could feel that he was seeing more… Could this be the power?!

Settled into his position feeling his new found power course through his veins he smirked, shutting it off instantly. It was now at his control, the sight, three hundred and sixty degree view, utter clarity. Then, the student would breathe deep. The taste of this clean air filling his nostrils and revitalizing his thirsty lungs. Again his eyes flashed wide open flooded with Chakra.
One step forward with his left was accompanied by an accelerated downward “Slash” with his left arm, wielding his shorter defensive blade, the ”Kodaci.” Following through, the shinobi was now moving forth with his right foot, taking a second step. This time, he had been generating chakra from his own body directly into his larger more fiercer sword, the ”Katana”. This focus of chakra brought the lightning affinity coursing through his blade with its electrical energy. This sword he swung behind him following his footstep, from below his waist, straight up into a vicious upward, “Dynamic Slash.” Within its motion it disrupted the land and parted the grass with a slight gash and the resulting momentum left a minor shockwave from the speed of the swing… No, he wasn’t done.
Moments after he spun and the axis of his right foot to counter-clockwise to his left. His ”Kodaci” he wielded parallel to his left forearm side by side with its reverse edge, almost like a boxer would hold his hand up to defend his face in combos, expert defense. At the end of his spin, was followed by another ”Dynamic Slash”, instead this one a high arcing downward chop whereas the tip of his blade would collide with the ground and dispense his lightning energy into the earth, grounding that energy. The Impact ruptured the very stillness of his radius as rippled flower petals and grass blades, even plants and some weeds jumped in the air is if almost afraid. He began to grin at his new found abilities and wished even more to expand his horizons to be the one of the village’s top ninjas. His aspiration and tenacity, aside from his childhood vengeance, built a very formidable resolve within this young shinobi.

Izanagi was just hanging out today.

The usual all work and no play had taken its toll on the young boy's energy, making him as lazy as a Nara on this particular day. Honestly, he could get up and start training, as he was only mentally tired.... But, one would have to really find a way to convince him, and there was only a few that won't be spoken here because that's cheating.

He simply wandered through the forest, dressed casually in a pair of light jeans, a no-sleeved maroon shirt, and his training shoes. He had a pair of headphones hanging around his neck, though his music (rap and hip-hop) blasted loud enough that one could hear them from even a few yards away. He was rapping along, hitting all of the lyrics with an odd amount of accuracy for someone who spent the majority of his time training.

Izanagi was hitting a particularly fast bar when he went quiet, hearing someone training off in the distance. His hand automatically went up to the headphones, using the little buttons to turn down the music to a low background level. He stopped walking, glancing around, before immediately staring off to a direction as he heard more of said trainings.

Somewhat curious as to who else would be training out here in the middle of the day, Izanagi sauntered over, his headphones a little louder but not as loud as they were before. It wasn't long before he came upon the training Hoshi, who had his swords out and was doing what seemed like some fancy stuff.

It took a moment for Izanagi to notice his eyes and their odd state - they'd never looked that way before. He went mentally through the many jutsu he knew about, before furrowing his brows as he realized just what was going on. The young shinobi had unlocked his Byakugan, which was probably the best Doujutsu that Izanagi knew of. Better than Sharingan, at least.

Izanagi whistled appreciatively, which was also meant to catch Hoshi's attention. "Oi, there. Is that a Byakugan? I've always wanted to see how well I'd do against someone using it," he said with truthfully, his hands on his hips. Maybe this lad would be up for a spar or something; at the very least, he'd tell Izanagi how having a Byakugan was like.

 

[Shouyu Hoshi]

He was breathing slowly, seeing the world for what seemed like the first time. Only, he could only see how his strikes appeared slower in movement, allowing him to be more precise and agile. He wanted to test this against someone else, someone just as fast, if not faster than himself. He relieved his Katana from the ground and sheathed the blade in its scabbard. Secondly, right after he did the same with his kodaci, sheathing it to his left hip. He heard a whistle, and didn't need to turn his head at all to see a shimmering bright color of chakra in the form of a human being. A fluorescent light chakra network, tall to him standing almost a giant. His reach was probably amazing. He spoke of an appreciation of his ability... Izanagi. Most definitely. He then slowly turned his head, not just yet his entire body before he spoke to him.

"I also want to see what it can do... Let us strive to reach limits other ninjas fear to breach. Ready your chakra!"
"Let's make in interesting huh? First one pass out gives up a months worth of ramen. Sound like a deal?"

As he spoke he turned to face Izanagi, having to tilt his head back to look him in the eyes. He was a menacingly tall character, who Hoshi could tell, packs a serious punch. One strike from this guy could be an easy trip in the infirmary for something broken, or internal bleeding. And he was reach was going to be a main factor.He held a tiger hand seal, circulating his energy throughout his body, causing a gale of wind from his feet that shot straight up into the air and dispersed. As the winds, grass petals and dust settled, Shouyu was seen in lowered in the "Jyuuken Stance". He was midget compared to this giant, but he had some well learned lessons and planned to make this interesting for the both of them. He awaited his opponent to take stance, or even make the first move before he would strike.

The Hyuuga are an ancient clan from the fire country dating back to even before the time of Konohagakure. A clan of fierce Taijutsu practitioners known far and wide for their unique style of fighting, the Gentle Fist. The clan's Taijutsu prowess is acknowledged throughout the ninja world, and the Hyuuga are acknowledged as Geniuses in the Ninja arts. However, more popular than their Taijutsu skills are their most unique and noticeable trait; the Byakugan, commonly referred to as "The All-seeing Eye". With their Byakugan and Jyuuken techniques, few clans possess the physical grace of the Hyuuga.

Byakugan - Activated Passive
The most basic, yet also the key to the rest of the bloodline, the Byakugan is the famous Doujutsu of the Hyuuga clan. This ability is only able to be used by the Hyuuga due to the number of chakra lines in their eyes region. Pouring chakra into these chakra lines enhances their visions, allowing them to see for hundreds, sometimes thousands of meters around, and grants them the ability to see all forms of chakra, and the chakra system of those around them.

Rank 1: +1 Accuracy/Dodge, 500 meter visual range.
Rank 2: +2 Accuracy/Dodge, 1000 meter visual range.
Rank 3: +3 Accuracy/Dodge, 2000 meter visual range.

Gentle Fist - Passive
The taijutsu style used by the Hyuuga is an odd one, and through their training they have incorporated their skill into all sorts of Taijutsu, the Hyuuga learning to not so much use brute strength, but instead rely on the softest touch, accuracy over power. Though one should be wary, the strength of their attacks does not come from their pokes and jabs, but the strength comes in the form of chakra blasts. Â Due to this the Hyuuga minimize the expenditure on any and all taijutsu, both physical and chakra based.

360 Degree Vision - Passive
The Byakugan grants the user vision to such a large area and grants them clarity those outside of the clan can hardly imagine. Because of their Extraordinary Eye's, they are constantly watching all around them, and capable of seeing anything coming from literally a mile away. Because of this, the Hyuuga are able to avoid attacks far more efficiently than others, and have been said to be untouchable in melee combat, the true geniuses of Taijutsu.

Rank 1: 6% Auto dodge to all attacks.
Rank 2: 8% Auto dodge to all attacks.
Rank 3: 10% Auto dodge to all attacks.

Jyuuken Stance - Hyuuga Special Style
The centerpiece of the Hyuuga fighting style. The Jyuuken stance opens the chakra points, allowing the Hyuuga to funnel their chakra infused taps through their hands and feet, creating the power that their style physically lacks. It is this lethal combination formed by their speed and accuracy that makes the Hyuuga the feared and renowned bloodline that it is, living up to the legend of them defeating the most skilled opponents with the slightest of touches.

Rank 1: The user's unarmed attacks only deal 80% Damage, but they gain +1 Accuracy and +1 Critical, and have a 40% chance to cause internal bleeding. Unarmed Called Shots gain a +4% Chance of success.
Rank 2: The user's unarmed attacks only deal 85% Damage, but they gain +1.5 Accuracy and +1 Critical, and have a 55% chance to cause internal bleeding. Unarmed Called Shots gain a +6% Chance of success.
Rank 3: The user's unarmed attacks only deal 90% Damage, but they gain +2 Accuracy and +1 Critical, and have a 70% chance to cause internal bleeding. Unarmed Called Shots gain a +8% Chance of success.

Notes:
- This style can only be used while unarmed.
- All CP costs are increased by 10% while active
- The initial chance to cause Internal Bleeding is only to see if the attack has the chance to cause bleeding. The normal Bleeding chance must still be successful to cause bleeding.
- Internal Bleeding has the same effects as normal Bleeding, though take's twice as long to heal. (ie: The user must heal each rank twice before reducing their Bleed Level)

Gentle Step Twin Lion Fist - Secret Clan Taijutsu
A Technique able to be performed only by the Hyuuga, the Hyuuga performs this technique by gathering chakra into their fists. The Hyuuga then gracefully spins towards their target to strike them in their chest, sending a burst of chakra into them in the shape of Spectral lion heads around their fists. The sudden jolt of chakra impacting upon the Target's center line is often enough to stun their reflexes and cause most opponents to flinch.

Rank 1: The Hyuuga spins, striking their opponent and dealing 620 Damage at +2 Accuracy. This has a 40% chance to cause -1 Accuracy/Dodge.
Rank 2: The Hyuuga spins, striking their opponent and dealing 910 Damage at +2 Accuracy. This has a 55% chance to cause -1 Accuracy/Dodge.
Rank 3: The Hyuuga spins, striking their opponent and dealing 1,110 Damage at +3 Accuracy. This has a 70% chance to cause -1 Accuracy/Dodge.

Rank 1: 210 Cp, 1.25 Ap
Rank 2: 300 Cp, 1.75 Ap

Eight Trigrams Tenketsu Strikes - Chakra Circulatory Assault
The most famous technique of the Hyuuga and their signature skill, these strikes are Somewhat of an offensive/defensive move that sends an electromagnetic blast of chakra outwards to damage and push back enemies. With each strike, the Hyuuga targets tiny chakra points in the target's body, and with each precise strike seals more and more of the victim's chakra. The Hyuuga are able to tap these tiny targets with such precision that the target may not even now what hit them should they not be on the top of their game, and end up with their chakra sealed.


Rank 1: The user Strikes four times, starting with 30 Physical Damage, 0.25% Chakra Damage, this amount is doubled for each successful attack.
Rank 2: The user Strikes six times, starting with 30 Physical Damage, 0.25% Chakra Damage, this amount is doubled for each successful attack.
Rank 3: The user Strikes eight times, starting with 30 Physical Damage, 0.25% Chakra Damage, this amount is doubled for each successful attack.

Cost: 1.5 AP, 80 Chakra * number of attack per attack (so 160 for the second strike 240 for the third so on and so on)

Notes:
- Partial hits are treated as full hits.
- The user cannot attack points which have already been sealed.
- Chakra damage reduces the victim's Max Cp for the remainder of the battle.
- If the attack misses, that level of the attack must be performed again to move on to the next. The user starts from the point where they missed previously.
- Each attack represents the tenketsu palm strikes, the first being 2, then 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256. 8 attacks, each doubling the previous ones damages.

Kaiten - Eight Trigrams Palm Rotation
The ultimate defense of the Hyuuga clan, the Kaiten is a technique in which the Hyuuga spins around at high speed denying any opponent to trace the blind spot in their defence. This technique shows the true control the Hyuuga have over their chakra, and with each rotation, the Hyuuga releases chakra from all points in their body, creating a repulsive barrier. This jutsu takes a high toll on the user however and though it's highly regarded for its defensive abilities the Hyuuga hold back on its use.

Rank 1: User autoblocks 40% of incoming physical damage, while attacking up to two targets with two Basic Strikes at +1 Accuracy. The user receives a -3 dodge debuff for a full round after use.
Rank 2: User autoblocks 55% of incoming physical damage, while attacking up to two targets with two Basic Strikes at +1.5 Accuracy. The user receives a -2 dodge debuff for a full round after use.
Rank 3: User autoblocks 65% of incoming physical damage, while attacking up to two targets with two Basic Strikes at +2 Accuracy. The user receives a -1 dodge debuff for a full round after use.

Air Palm - Eight Trigrams Ranged Taijutsu
Another technique showing the Hyuuga's adept chakra control, this technique is used by the advanced Hyuuga, Taking their control of chakra to the next level. Using their hand speed and control of their chakra pores, The Hyuuga are able to release a large quantity of chakra quickly from the pores in their hands and then in a movement just as graceful as their Jyuuken stances, shoot it towards their opponent.

Rank 1: Releases a burst of chakra that deals 1,350 Damage at +2 Accuracy that pushes the target 14 feet away.
Rank 2: Releases a burst of chakra that deals 1,650 Damage at +3 Accuracy that pushes the target 17 feet away.
Rank 3: Releases a burst of chakra that deals 1,950 Damage at +4 Accuracy that pushes the target 20 feet away.

Jyuuketsu Combo - Hyuuga Unarmed Combo
One of the most skilled techniques in the Hyuuga's arsenal, this is a fluid combination technique that enables the Hyuuga to strike using the speed of the Tenketsu strikes, and combining it with the attacking power of the Jyuuken. The outcome is lethal, and if it does not bring the opponent down normally, it surely will leave them in aches and pains...and without energy.

Rank 1: The Hyuuga Assaults a target with a barrage of Jyuuken strikes, attacking them 5 times each dealing 330 Damage at -2 Accuracy.
Rank 2: The Hyuuga Assaults a target with a barrage of Jyuuken strikes, attacking them 5 times each dealing 390 Damage at -1 Accuracy.
Rank 3: The Hyuuga Assaults a target with a barrage of Jyuuken strikes, attacking them 5 times each dealing 450 Damage.

Costs:
Rank 1: 600 Cp; 2.25 Ap

Notes:
- Target takes Cp Damage equal to Half the damage done by this technique. This Cp reduces the max Cp of the victim and cannot be recovered.

Eight Gates Assault - Chakra Circulatory Shock Technique
Perhaps one of the deadliest techniques available to the Hyuuga, this technique fully utilizes their knowledge of the chakra system to utterly destroy the target from the inside out. Through skilled Jyuuken use, the Hyuuga are able to manipulate and strike the many tenketsu within the body. This skill involves the Hyuuga directly striking large bundles of tenketsu valves which regulate the flow of chakra; The Eight Gates. Striking these valves with their Jyuuken, the Hyuuga releases a burst of chakra which forcibly shocks the victim's Chakra system into releasing their flow of chakra within their body. Normally this would not do much more harm than an average tenketsu strike...But when used on a target that has had their Tenketsu Sealed, this sudden flow of chakra creates a dangerous backfire that harms the user from the inside.

Rank 1: The user palm strikes the chakra system of the target, sending a burst of chakra that shocks the system and deals 2,475 Damage to the target at -3 Accuracy. The victim takes Cp damage equal to 15% of the total damage dealt.
Rank 2: The user palm strikes the chakra system of the target, sending a burst of chakra that shocks the system and deals 3,795 Damage to the target at -3 Accuracy. The victim takes Cp damage equal to 20% of the total damage dealt.
Rank 3: The user palm strikes the chakra system of the target, sending a burst of chakra that shocks the system and deals 4,620 Damage to the target at -3 Accuracy. The victim takes Cp damage equal to 25% of the total damage dealt.

He watched the younger boy sheath sheath his swords, which seemed only slightly cool yet odd to Izanagi; who in the hell would give a boy his age a pair of swords capable of causing real injury? But the fact that he had them period was cool, even if swords didn't interest Izanagi in the least. He'd rather beat people to a pulp with his fists, but that's just him. Maybe the swords had some sort of special meaning or something. Or were just there.

He furrowed his brows at the boy's (usual) oddly enthusiastic and want-to-be attitude..... The pair of them were barely Academy Student, a Jounin could possibly snap them with a maximum one well-placed punch. Maybe striving to limits "other shinobi feared to breach" wasn't as apt as "striving to limits they'd yet to breach". Which, considering the fact that Izanagi hadn't sparred with another person around his age, was quite true.

Izanagi nodded at the Hyuuga boy's call for readying chakra. He smoothed himself into an easy stance, bouncing back and forth on the balls of his feet. His hands he left open, his left arm up across his chest and hovering near his face while his right arm was hovering over his midsection. He chuckled at the other kid's wager, before shrugging. "I don't like ramen. We'll make it a thousand yen, how about that? Then I could buy my own meal ingredients with the money I won from kicking your butt," he said, confident in his ability despite the other's powerful Eye Jutsu.

Now that they were fighting for real rewards, Izanagi got serious; he really didn't feel like giving up any amount of yen to some kid, even if he wasn't that bad of a guy. He looked him over, gauging how well he could dodge those swords from thinking about past demonstrations he'd witnessed. Izanagi wondered what else he had up his sleeves, but it mattered little for now; it would when the battle began, though, and he was glad his father taught him early on to carry most of his equipment everywhere.

He removed the headphones from around his neck, taking the music player from his pocket. He tossed them quite a distance into a particularly long patch of grass, before turning back to Hoshi with a grin. He really wanted to see how well he did, and that sweet yen would only make him all the more harder. Hoshi's usual showy-offness phased him only a little; the gale of wind most likely wasn't going to do much, though he hadn't seen that stance before...

Perhaps it was another Hyuuga thing, and possibly dangerous. But it couldn't possibly be as dangerous as the Hyuug's ability to crash an opponent's body through manipulating their own chakra points. He briefly wondered if Hoshi could do that, but cast it from his mind. He'd learn if he could soon enough.

Yea, this was going to be very fun.

[Shouyu Hoshi]

Izanagi flying in with an Uncalled Shot, smacking Shouyu dead in the face, he paused wincing, for a split second, a spew of saliva spraying from his mouth at impact. *epic pokemon music in the background*

"Don't think I'll be taking it easy on you. Are you ready now?"

Shouyu was now hyped after the first strike, he slide straight back into the Jyuuken stance and readied his Chakra again. He managed to side step and block a flurry of kicks from Iza's Janken combo before in stance lowered and prepared once more. Without a moment left of hesitation the boy was off to attack. He was moving at high speeds, chakra focused at a focal point in his finger tips, knuckled and open palm to deliver devastating Hyuuga blows to his opponent. He had already shaken off the first hit, though some damaged skin with a bruise can be seen with the force of Iza's hit. "Damn... Of course... He was even stronger than he looked! Still, the boy was lowered into stance fearless, staring Izanagi into the hues before he was darting off at Lightning speeds, his first move would be a charged attack, his right fist enveloped in chakra that formed lightning around his fist.. He would attempt to strike Iza's face with his Thunder Fist attack, successful or not. He would follow up with a shocking Electrocution technique, launching a projectile in the form of lightning chakra to shock his opponent. At the moment, he would exit Jyuuken stance and draw his Kodaci from his left hip, slowly revealing the sharp blade from its scabbard.

Izanagi's hand swiped quickly down to his pocket, grabbing one of the soldier pills he frequently used to while training. He brought it to his lips, consuming the small thing in a quick gulp and instantly feeling his mind temporarily sharpen. It was like he felt every drop of chakra in his veins, energizing his mind and his body. It didn't take long before he was moving on, however, his hand continuing its move past his mouth and down to grab his combat gloves from the small loop on his belt. Pulling them on, he kept his eye on his fellow Academy Student.

He could see the concentration on Hoshi's face as he activated his Byakugan, veins popping from his eyes. Izanagi chose to capitalize on his lack of real action, whipping a small wooden block from who knows where, pulling an inert explosive note and slapping it on. He pressed his hand over the note, pushing some of his chakra into the note until it glowed with power, replacing it back to where it was hidden on his body.

While he was doing so, he watched Hoshi shift into a stance, one that Izanagi hadn't seen before; what was he planning now? Now prepared for any jutsu that Hoshi would send this round, Izanagi leaped forward, sending a fierce sidekick towards Hoshi's face. He smirked on the impact, waiting until his foot was on the floor for him to spin and lash out with a roundhouse toward's Hoshi's torso.

Izanagi's brow furrowed as he missed entirely, backing away and slightly and waiting for Hoshi's attack, because it was surely coming. He narrowed his eyes as Hoshi's fist became enveloped in chakra-generated electricity, before readying himself.

[Shouyu Hoshi]

He stood with his fists raised in Jyuuken Stance, Izanagi had performed a jutsu creating several more versions of himself. For a moment his confused the young boy, he tried to discern which was the real Izanagi but couldn't right away. No matter, this was no time for stalling and he needed to press the attack immediately. He rushed towards his opponent sending a high flying kick that targeted and connected with a dreaded mud clone. The splash was yucky, and the muck seemed to have slowed the young ninja entirely.

A sharp pain between his knees as his Izanagi, the real Izanagi, nut shot the young boy bringing thin fluid to his eyes. The onslaught continued another clone attempting to spear Shouyu but missing as he performed a no hand cartwheel out of harm's way. Upon landing, Izanagi was sending a high flying kick himself coming at intense speeds. The boy ducked, somersaulted forward and evaded, breathing lightly and composed still slowed from the previous mud attack. 'Dammit...'

His quick reaction gave him time to counter by shooting an inaccurate but deadly beam of lightning that Izanagi dodged acrobatically. This infuriated the young shinobi as Izanagi was now tossing explosive tags to Hoshi, two missing completely as he just side stepped and closed the distance between the two fast. Shouyu gracefully glided with a spin move toward Iza striking with a two piece fist combo empowered by twin lion heads!

A connection! Well so he thought, the once body of Izanagi poofed and became the usual log. 'What? Body Switch?' The was also an explosive tag. "Kaboom." A loud sickening explosion with black clouds and flames, Shouyu was seen being blown away into a near by tree, the back of his head smacking its base, forcing him into a sitting position dazed, the boy shook his head lightly trying to shrug it off. That was big blow, he was hurt for sure. Before he could even recollect himself, "BOOM!"

'Dammit! Another one?!!

Again the kid was blown away, and in worst shape than before, still his energy was blazing but his fatigue was great. He barely had enough strength to shoot a projectile of lightning enforced chakra toward his opponent to electrocute him but missed horribly. He was standing, almost trembling from the last attack. And almost instantly, as if he was reminded of his resolve, his energy had returned to him, and a more serious look upon his face now. The boy grinned, unsheathing his Kodaci blade and pointing it at his opponent.

 

[Sei]

Izanagi's hands flashed as he casted a Mud Clone that looked exactly like himself, the two immediately setting off in a confusing array of zigzags as they immediately went off to attack. He was readying to send a fierce kick at Hoshi when his opponent hit the Mud Clone (much to Izanagi's delight), causing him to be covered in the sticky, heavy stuff. Izanagi chuckled as he sent a fierce snapkick right between Hoshi's legs.

He grinned at the connection, before setting off into a roundhouse kick to his torso a few seconds later. His eyes narrowed as he hit nothing but air as Hoshi flipped, his leg scything before landing so he could reset his stance. He made a slightly choked sound as he saw Hoshi ready and fire a jutsu in reaction to his attack, though dodged it with a deft maneuver, surprising even himself. He grinned; this battle was going pretty good so far, if he could say so himself.

Pulling a pair of explosive notes from his pockets, he leaped towards Hoshi, using his open palms in an attempt to slap them onto the boy. He missed both of them and easily placed them back into his pockets, setting them aside for later; they'd be useful still.

He was about to get ready to send his next set of attacks when he saw Hoshi's fists blazing with chakra - he'd seen this before, during an Academy Class. He gasped as Hoshi sent the attacks, his hands flying before he was replaced by a block of wood literally milliseconds before Hoshi connected. The explosive note activated with a thunder boom and a cloud of black dust, making Izanagi silently rejoice at his quick thinking.

Using the distraction of the explosion, he quickly sprinted forward and slapped Hoshi across the face with a loud smack, an explosive note attached to the boy's face. He jumped back and detonated it from a distance, grinning at the second explosion to hit his peer. This battle was going very well. For him, anyway. He watched Hoshi warily from the short distance, waiting a second before getting ready to dodge yet another lightning attack; he didn't need to this time, however, as Hoshi's attack was just a miss period.

"Ready for more punishment, Hoshi?" He asked with a chuckle, getting ready for another exchange.

[Shouyu Hoshi]

Sword in hand and Byakugan still active the kid was still raring to go! His Kodaci, the shorter of his two blades and more accurate at that at the cost of less damage, was beginning to spark and glow a light blue. Very soon it was covered with a raging current of electrical energy. It was lightning chakra that he was channeling directly into his sword for this round with no fear in his eyes. Bruises and minor scratches all over his skin, torn and scorched linens his battle attire, yet his fighting spirit will still going as if this battle had just started. Oh and indeed, it just did! Just before he could ready himself for attack, his opponent performed some hand seals and again, more clones. The kid clenched his jaw and bared his gritting teeth in resentment of this technique. These were the fools that slowed his speed in the previous exchange causing him to take so much damage. His byakugan view was strong this time and the boy knew which one was the clone and who was real.

And so he dashed, making his way toward the real Izanagi before getting tackled and blind sided by his clone. His eyes grew wide shifting to see the clone having been tackled and stifled. The clone dispersed and covered Shouyu in the same thick mud again, he wiped his eyes clean with his free hand quickly and prepare himself as Izanagi was coming in hot with another shot. He seemed like he was going for another heavy kick that Shouyu seen almost in slow motion if you would. "I can dodge!" Shouyu jumped forward, front flipped over Izanagi and shot his blade toward him, from the tip of the sword shot a Storm Bolt that connected with Izan's physical frame, shocking his nervous system and stunned him. He shot this beam with extreme focus and accuracy, hence the on point shot. He landed on his feet behind Izanagi who seemed like he was unfazed by the attack and was coming again.

He seemed a bit slowed though, Shouyu foreseen this attack easily and side stepped to his right, Izan forced to follow through with a miss striking nothing but air. It was his time to attack now, full fledged with no counter, this time he would feel the immense strength behind the Hyuuga. The lightning chakra flowing around his sword grew even more intense, being empowered by his thunderfist technique. He stalled too long, Izan was back on the offensive with another flying kick. Shouyu's eyes bulged and jaw dropped at the pain, wincing, but still recovered rather quickly and barrel rolled to gather himself. His blade was still charged up, even more so now growing in strength. Shouyu swung a downward vertical strike with his sword, followed by a diagonal strike from top right to bottom left, finally horizontally from left to right. Each strike connected and Shouyu was pleased, but it failed to retreat fast enough to recollect himself.

Yet again Izanagi was coming with a move, Shouyu misguided his strike partially with an adept block, knocking it off target but still taking force of the hit. Shouyu hadn't sustained much damage in this trade off, as far as his opponent, Shouyu found himself delighted to have finally made his presence known, even then, his stamina was running low. And he needed to press the attack, hopefully he could repeat this and increase his chances of winning.

As well as the last exchange had went, Izanagi figured this one was going to be even better; he was getting on a roll, really feeling himself in this first ever spar. Hoshi was taking damage left and right, while he felt that his own moves were that of a master's - strong, quick, and smart.

Until he got too cocky.

He watched in slight amusement as he watched the chakra spark electricity over Hoshi's blade, glowing a light, bright blue. He wondered briefly why a Hyuuga would even care to wield a sword with their great unarmed Taijutsu, but he'd possibly ask later. Using a trick that had worked quite well previously, he summoned up a Clone, figuring it'd work just the same.

He thought wrong when he noticed Hoshi clench his jaw, baring his teeth fiercely. His eyes stayed focused on Izanagi throughout, leading the white-haired boy to take a small step back in slight surprise. It must've been that damn Byakugan....

He whistled to his Clone who immediately ran to intercept Hoshi as he made his dash, crashing into him successfully and splattering the lightning child with mud. Worked out well in the end, Izanagi thought with a mental shrug, readying himself.

Attempting to capitalize, he ran in and went for another strong kick, finding Hoshi lacking the same dodge as when Izanagi went for a three-punch combination. He huffed slightly as Hoshi dodged with a decent maneuver, retaliating with a nice bolt that struck him dead in the chest.

Stumbling back, Izanagi shook the majority of the pain off and went in for another swift kick, missing as Hoshi moved fully out of harm's way with a quick step. The brown-skinned boy bared his teeth at this, getting quite riled up as his continuous misses. This particular Hyuuga was fast, and it infuriated Izan to no end. Even covered in the mud, he was moving with control and grace, making Izan look like a fool; luckily there wasn't anyone around to watch him lose this trade of blows.

He watched the blade glow with electricity, which made Izanagi pale (not literally) slightly; that last lightning attack really hurt. He didn't feel like getting hit by another one, and so soon. So he dashed forward and gave Hoshi a swift foot to the family jewels, figuring that'd stop him from hitting with the sword. Sadly, wasn't meant to be because RNGesus was just so mean.

Attempting to dodge the slashes, he failed miserably, being hit with every one of them while being electrocuted at the same time. It hurt like a bitch, evident from his panting and his hand hovering over his bleeding chest. He winced slightly from the pain before dashing forward to get one last hit in.

He put the rest of his energy into this last strike, and was able to connect, if only partially. He felt some modicum of satisfaction, and so he backpedaled away, getting control of his breathing. Time to stop acting like a cocky prick and beat this kid.

[Shouyu Hoshi]

Izan made more clones, this still didn't work, or maybe this fool planned it to be this way. The boy gritted his teeth, no matter, he had to strike fast and take as little damage as possible, yes. The roar of the fight began to stir the young boy's spirit, a rush in blood flow through his veins. The course of battle took its turn, adrenaline was taking its path through his lifelines. It was as if his vision had increased, Izanagi becoming more detailed in his view. He could see the beads of sweat beating down his forehead as the kid smirked.

"Come on, enough with the clones. I thought you were better than that..."

He teased, hopefully drawing his opponent in with bait to disrupt his current stillness of mind. Izanagi began preparing more notes, Shouyu wouldn't have this. His OverCharge ability caused his blade to resonate with more energy again as three swift slashing strikes hit all in a combo, staggering his opponent but unsuccessful in stopping the ninja. His clones weren't moving instead, could he have seen him attaching the explosive notes the clone? Instantly Shouyu understood, even then he still pressed the attack. Izanagi made another note, but just before Shouyu shot another storm bolt from the tip of his blade shocking Izan's nervous system once more. And again, Izan attached another note, this stalled the boy's next attack, his slash cutting air, momentum causing the boy to somersault forward and regain position.

Izanagi felt his chakra reserves plummeting quick, faster than he was used to; this was probably because he never used to use explosive notes nor clones as much as he did in this battle, making his overall build quite ineffective as he used everything he knew to slow down the speedy child. He didn't have that long to end this one, so he had to use more brains than brawn to finish this one off. To do that, though, he had to spend more chakra, albeit in a much more conscious manner.

He took a quick peek at his inventory, before nodding to himself as he set the plan. He stood up straight, hands flashing as he created another mud clone. He pulled an explosive note out of his pocket, getting so far as to prime it before Hoshi starting his attack, casting lightning into his sword. Izanagi tossed the primed note at the mud clone, who caught and stuck it to its chest. He stood still while Hoshi dashed and slashed his sword across Izanagi's large frame a few more times, before drawing another explosive note. He was about to prime it before he was suddenly struck with lightning, causing Izanagi to gasp slightly.

He primed it seconds after, shrugging through the pain and tossing another note to the clone. It caught that as well, warily watching Hoshi as the clone slapped the note to its chest. Taking a deep breath, Izanagi stopped for this exchange, gathering his chakra for the next one after dodging Hoshi's last attack. Well, let's see what kind of magic happened.

Shouyu was dashing toward the real Izanagi, of course he knew, his byakugan couldn't be fooled so easily yet again. Izan drew up another note, what the hell was this ninja thinking now. He strikes with his blade and hits, he didn't stop though. Izanagi prepared his e note and Shouyu saw this but took nothing in consideration like a fool. He struck again with his blade and missed. Again, Izanagi threw a third note onto his clone and continued to play the back as Shouyu pressed forward. The clone then closed in on Shouyu but he side stepped his minute attempt and again brought another attack aimed at Izanagi.

He cut air, total miss. He cringed and grew anger but kept his composure. Another slash followed up directly after, connection! He was still angry from his previous misses, his opponent so fluidly dodged his attack and seemed unfazed. This one, was not a connection... His blade was now cutting through mud that splashed all over him again, sickening him. 'Body Switch jutsu?' The clone dispersed and BOOM, Shouyu was blown away tumbling and rumbling across the grassy bed until he came to a sliding stop and stumbled his way up back to his feet. He sighed angrily and dashed again trying to close the distance. Hoshi swung his blade and caused a severe cut on Izanagi. His followed up with another and struck again, but it seemed like Izanagi had gained some kind of second wind!

The kid felt his chakra pool drying and his energy was low, his constant huffing and puffing was a good sign of this. He sighed, knowing he had once again faied Yuii sensei's test of endurance. With his lack of chakra and his opponent's high stamina he wouldn't last here to much longer in this fight unprepared. He then rose high right hand, palm out in a surrender, head low as he sort of mumbled.

"I'm beat... There's no way I can plan to defeat you with my lack of preparation. Let's just say 1 to 0 huh?"
