Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Kamaru listened to the political debate between the older people as he sipped his tea in the small shop. It wasn’t his beverage of choice but it was hot out and iced tea seemed better right now than the delicious brown nectar he had the pleasure of waking up to for many a morning so long ago. Being an outsider he expected to be told to shut up or just to butt out of the conversation. Oddly enough he wasn’t since he had something intelligent to say in the matter. The fact it was a propaganda spin was evident as the writing style and stories went from covering favor facets of life in the news to simple a death toll and body count brought on by the rebellious terrorist organization still running under the official organization known as Konoha Corporation.

As the banter lead out into another conspiracy theory he stared down at the letter in front of him as his interest waned. Kamaru hadn’t really thought about mail that much and how people got information besides through intelligence channels but normal people wanted normal news, without a local newspaper or radio station things went a little bit differently, namely through the use of the written word and word of mouth locally. Granted the main reason he hadn’t thought about it was probably since he didn’t have anyone to write to. Information from the populace to others especially loved one’s seemed important.

Being inside the City of Maruishi though gave him a different perspective on this and insight into the shinobi and civilian relations in the village. Shinobi were for the most part respected and not considered just silent cogs reaping whirlwind death all about them. Civilians had their jobs, shinobi had theirs. As he got up he made his way to the counter paying for his tea and left a tip before moving out to the post office to see how much it was going to cost.

He found out there were limits to how much it could way, dimension restrictions as well. He didn’t think the price to be exorbitant and considering it would be leaving no later than tomorrow at noon he figured it was fine. The fact the clerk had asked so many questions though took him a bit off his questioning since at first he thought they were being nosy. It turned out the clerk was just doing their job, it wasn’t for a special occasion or had to be in place for delivery by a certain time. The letter being to a long haired lady and her sister to check up on them and let them know he was okay seemed to be what would be considered the part they were trying to find out. They dismissed in and questions about his involvement didn’t come up. Just business it seemed.

Walking out Kamaru watched someone packing a bag with mail for delivery. They didn’t seem to be a ninja but the man next to him did by his attire. Kamaru being noticed got a nod from the first to leave being a shinobi as he walked past. ”He’s dealing with the outbound mail. It needs to get there quickly. Mail here in the village doesn’t have to move as rapidly so I’m good enough plus I know the area so it gets out in a timely manner.” the man explained. Kamaru apologized and thanked him for his explanation before leaving. Kamaru wondered exactly how many different jobs there were for ninja to do in the village, some seemed to involve travel. It was good to know in advance of the meeting coming up to discuss jobs though.
