Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

{OOC: This is not mandatory, but by participating your name will be marked as a founder of his new Medical complex. Med-nin's with the ability to help are strongly urged to join as it will have an effect down the road in terms of further Medical Branch meetings/promotions.}

Juzo sent out as many messages and notes as he could muster. Each of them expressed the fact that reconstruction of the medical building would commence today and those with the ability to help were being summoned to assist. Mostly he sent out messages to the registered Med-nin of Suna but as most records were destroyed, he wasn't entirely sure if he actually was able to contact all of them. For now he would rely on the word of mouth to reach those remaining few who were not in the current back-up's of data.

While waiting the man began to clear the area with his Earth ninjutsu. As the new building would not be built in the exact same location as the old one, cleaning up the old area wasn't necessary yet. For now he would be boring straight into the bedrock that composed the wall nearest where the old Medical center had been built. At the moment it was solid and had absolutely no space for a building. But after a quick movement and exactly seven handseals, Juzo caused the wall to tremble. Four more handseals caused the area in the wall where the new building would sit to shift away from the shinobi with blue hair. It was a massive feat and took a considerable chunk of chakra from his reserves. Juzo paused to catch his breath and let his chakra replenish a little.

"Big enough?" He murmured to himself as he looked at the area. He needed it to be big enough to allow construction. Once finished he would make the walls move inward slightly to embrace the new building, once built. For now, it was ready for a foundation and the structural supports.

The first blessing in a period of strife came in the form of a summons. Or...more accurately, an opening for volunteers. Ever since his epiphany in the lands of Fire Country, the Rikudo Sennin by the odd name of Onamuji had been struggling to find a new path. He was a warrior-sage, and part of being what he was...was being a sage. Though a bit paradoxical, the very notion of a warrior-sage meant that the individual was both a man of war and a man of peace. While Muji had excelled in war, he hadn't found much course for culminating peace. The auburn-haired young mystic wanted to help shape a better world, but found there wasn't much call for it.

When word got out that a new medical center would be built after the destruction of the former facility, Muji was the first to volunteer. As he had said before, the Djinn showed how unprepared and weak Sunagakure was in the face of overwhelming opposition. Many had died, and spirits were broken - yet Sunagakure's shinobi triumphed in the end. It was the sage's belief that building a new medical center would wash away the hard memories and the tears and establish a new symbol of hope.

Approaching the only Med-nin he could point out - perhaps due to the man's bluish hair, Muji offered a slight bow of respectful greeting and announced, "Onamuji, Jounin. I'm here to offer my assistance in making this happen. Is there anything in particular I can help with?"

There was word floating around the village that the medical complex needed to be rebuilt. When Susumu had heard about this his body had only the urge to accept this matter. He made his way out the door and proceeded to the location of the fallen establishment. Seeing as how he was an MiT he knew where this building was or the pieces of rubble for that matter. When he arrived he saw that shinobi had beat him to the punch. One of the shinobi had blue hair and was being talked to by another shinobi with brownish hair. Susumu walked up to the two and asked if there was any work that he could do to help. "Hey um... Wow!" "This place looks in pretty bad shape" "My name's Susumu im a medical trainee and I was wondering if there was any work I could do to get this place back up and running again" Susumu's tongue had the urge to ask for a bit of coin, but he didn't want to come off as a conman of sorts. The MiT simply stood there waiting for the blue hair ninja's answer.

Kyojin Kuro & Sanryoukyogan Kuro stood near the gathering. Kyojin Kuro was there for muscle as well as reinforcing the structure. Sanryo Kuro wore an altered Anbu mask and used transformation jutsu to hide away his horns and tail. All in all these two facets of Kuro were there to make sure the work load was never too much for any one person and to allow Kuro to plant emergency access seals throughout the facility. No one would ever be trapped in an inferno like the deranged attacker whom had called itself Djinn had caused ever again if Kuro could help it. He planned to place escape warp seals throughout the build so in an emergency, as long as the person could concentrate on the seal itself, they would be moved along tiny chakra leylines as fast as possible to recuperation and recovery points to be established once the main structures were rebuilt. Kyojin spoke for them both ... "Good day to you, we are humble servants of the Toraono Clan here to assist in the construction and route mapping of the future medical center."<i></i> Many people had not noticed that the original count of the dead once true was now greatly exaggerated. Eighty percent of those once thought dead or missing were alive and well, although somewhat scarred. Many could not understand it but something odd had happened during the fall of Djinn and a great many people believed to be dead, crushed, incinerated, or blown up rose from the ground with only a few scars like an odd wish had revived them. Only five people knew exactly what had happened and currently none of them were talking.

Finally, the thing was going to be rebuilt. Mio was more than a little tired of the tent-like structures that she had been seeing her patients in. When she had receive the call for help, she wasn't sure exactly how she could help at first. However, she was coming, and with the way she found that she could be of help. She knew electricity so she could help to wire the structure and test how grounded it was- oh dear, what a horrible pun... Not to mention the sizable donation she had already sent and the fact that she could make it rain so that the workers would be able to cool off.
On the way there, she ran into a young MiT and her tigers, as well as her father and his panther. As often as she tried to avoid conversing with too many people, she always seemed to attract the attention of others.

"Well, hi there! Are you going to help with the new medical center?"
"Why yes, yes I am. Who might you be?"
"I'm Nekozuka Kimi. This is Katsu and Kora," she pointed to the tigers and they both said "Hi!". The purple haired girl was about to point out her father when he chuckled and took over the job.
"Hello, I'm Koichi, and this is my panther Kisa." The panther lowered her head in the semblance of a bow and spoke, "It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance. What may we call you?"
"My name is Mio, Wakahisa Mio. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance as well, Kisa. If I were to guess, I would say that she's an MiT and decided to drag you along to help us rebuild?"
Koichi chuckled once more and nodded. His daughter was quite the persuasive creature when she was excited about something. His family had also made a large monetary contribution to the rebuilding of the complex, though that was something that they wouldn't dare flash about.

The trio were in sparing clothes, suitable enough to get dirty and work hard, though still a bit stylish. When they arrived, they made their presence known to the man in charge.
"Medic Wakahisa, reporting for duty. I excel in the uses of electricity and can cool the area in a mist of rain if need be. The other contribution was sent ahead." Mio alluded to her control over weather and her donation.
An excited Kimi went next. "Medic-in-training Nekozuka, and tigers Katsu and Kora, reporting! Anything heavy needing carried?" She might be a small girl, but she could lift her rather heavy tigers up at the same time with ease.
"Jounin Nekozuka, and panther Kisa, reporting. Where would you like us first?"

Well she may have been scrawny, but the darling genius had her uses. Instead of showing up for muscle or to use jutsu to move land, Chizuru had a different use of her talents in mind. There would be many workers helping and that meant they would be tired and need to replenish their strength. Well what better way to do that than with food and refreshing beverages? Chizuru would show up a bit later than the others with a horse drawn wagon that was filled with dishes made to keep the workers on their toes but not something that would way down their stomachs and make them lazy and tired. Simple things like sandwiches were the main course here. There were all kinds and she was even willing to prepare them per anyone's custom order.

Chizuru herself was dressed in a nice and fancy outfit, just perfect for serving others in her large sized mobile cart as well as showing off that she was part of the medical personnel should someone truly need her skills.

The horses came to a stop at a safe distance beyond the rubble and reconstruction and she would let everyone know she was there and began setting up shop. The Yamazaki house symbol was emblazoned on the side of the carriage/mobile food wagon.

Another cart would stop just a little ways from chizuru's, this one also adorned with the Yamazaki symbol. From out of it would come Yamazaki Iori, head of the Yamazaki clan, and Medical Chief of Suna. He would take in the air, a bright smile playing on his lips as he moved to the back of the cart. After removing a lock the back of that cart would fall open, and from it would emerge five hulking figures, easily more than 7 feet in height, their bodies tightly wrapped in black leather and heads shrouded by helmets, and were numbered 1 through 5 on their chests.\. "Come along now, no dawdling! We've got to get this place in tip top shape!" The man would say cheerfully as he moved towards the rubble, the creatures lumbering behind him.
monster_zpsa8ffab0c.jpg

"Juzo, good morning! Nice to see you bright and early, up and about! And it seems that we've gotten quite the turnout here." He would say as he stopped before the man, extending his hand in greeting towards him. "My daughter has a stand over there set up for refreshments for the workers, and I've brought with me some muscle to help out. They don't have names, but they'll respond to their numbers and I assure you that they are docile. So long as you don't attempt to burn them...they HATE fire." He would say with a smile, unable to chuckle as even the mere mention of fire caused one of the towering figures to visibly shudder.

It was simply a matter of interest that made Yume answer the summons. She had been sitting on a boulder, sandaled feet dangling from crossed legs a couple inches off the ground. Juzo’s work with stone was rather impressive but the Mednin was leery of anyone who could wield such power but had never made a name for themselves. Pinched between two fingers were the remains of a lollipop she was swirling within her mouth. The artificial cherry syrup melts over her tongue but is hardly enjoyed. It was meant to bring a smile to her face but there was nothing joyful on her mind. The fall of the medical building should have never happened and now Yume looked on the task ahead with anger. Crunching off the rest of her treat, she would twist the wrapper around the sticky end and tuck it away for disposal later. Familiar faces trailed by in the form of Kimi and Chizuru but the Inuzuka was in no mood to socialize. She was there to help and ensure that the patients were getting what was best for them. All too often engineers were concerned with cost efficiency and would forget what their creations were being used for; in this case the healing the sick of the village. Her garb was suitable for the endevour and was dark tan to mitigate the visibility of stains: capris and a short sleeved button up shirt. Hair pulled high in a braid, her parted bangs were pinned back to keep her hair from her eyes. Slipping down from her perch, she would land lightly and walk towards the summoner of the work party. Close behind her heels with a similarly unamused expression was CuRua, her desert fox. For those who knew her, it was almost frightening how different her demeanor was compared to her normal carefree, chipper self.

Sagasu Yume. Mednin specialized in acupuncture. I have competency in wind, water, and genjutsu. Where am I of use?

He looked down at the building plans someone had given him, then back up at the wreckage. Down, then back up again, sighed, and began to roll the paper up to put back inside of his coat.

Tama had no idea really why they decided to bring him about on this mission to help rebuild everything but he assumed it was because of all the help he had given to the branch over the last half year. Of course it wasn’t like he had been doing anything really important either as of late except for training his physical body in the art of taijutsu. It seemed like an odd thing for a man of ninjutsu science to embark upon but one would be amazed at how clear the training could make one’s mind.
His black boots crunched in the gravel as he showed up in his trademark ‘I don’t give a damn’ shirt, pants, and ratty lab coat over it. A pair of glasses were held up over his bi-colored eyes but they were really only for show and reading; he found it rare that he needed them for actual vision reasons. His hair was just as blonde and shaggy as it had ever been if not just a little bit more golden than usual.

The scientist slowly moved out into the very center of the destruction and looked around trying to figure out where to start, looking for large areas of the hospital that was still untouched. It didn’t take him very long to find a spot and quickly his boots crunched on over with a quick step haste. Once he had positioned himself into the very middle of the ruins Tama pulled out a little box from inside of his coat and placed it a flat part of a broken wall. Flicking the little golden hook to unlock the box the blonde opened his little treasured pen set.
With a deft hand he removed all of his supplies from the box and began to actually make a large well of ink rather than use copious amounts of his own blood. With the proper preparation Tama only needed to use a drop of his red life force, and that was to activate the ink, rather than the near liter he would have to use.
Once the ink had been set up Tama grabbed the large quill and dipped it deep into the black liquid to absorb as much as it could before he removed it with his hand held under it to use the extra drippings to write a seal on that hand. Once he reached a certain spot to the left of the center of his section he began to draw out an elaborate seal technique that he managed to cover his entire little section of the ruins in, in only thirty minutes.

This was a bit outside of the normal Tama that Suna usually got when they made him work on things for the medical branch, but now he was fully repaired in both mind and soul. He had managed to drive down and defeat the demons of his past and the inflections they had left on his existence. Now with the clear mind he once had when he was just first a student, before he met Mikaboshi, the scientist was working for the people as he had intended to do when he was entered into the Academy. He may still only hold the rank of Genin, but Tama was far more powerful than that title could give him credit for, and was about to prove it.

Returning himself to the center of his massive seal Tama packed up his ink set and replaced it into his coat before bringing together his hands in the tiger seal formation. Quickly the chakra of his artificial coil turned on and was shot directly to the seal like metal to a magnet. He reversed the tiger seal then created two other seals, ox, dog, and slowly pulled his hands apart to create a golden light in between. The light flickered then absorbed into the seal on the hand he wrote on earlier with the extra drippings, and that hand reached up to touch the place on his chest where the Lunar Seal was inscribed. Like using a key Tama turned his hand and arm ninety degrees and sure enough an explosive force of raw black energy emerged from the scientist followed by a calming golden chakra that intertwined with the shadows of the Lunar Seal chakra. His birthmark came to life with the seal and the dragon head on his chest slithered slowly up and around Tama’s neck to open its mouth over his left green eye causing the blue right eye to shift colors to match.

Taking a deep breath Tama moved his hands apart to focus all of the extra chakra leaking into the air back into his body to make him appear normal once more save for the strange markings and the similar colored eyes. Slowly he knelt down before the center of his seal, placed his hand upon it, and pulsed a bit of the chakra that was raging through his body to activate the massive thing. The inscriptions began to glow on every piece of broken hospital in the area that he had designated for himself.
Once again his hands clasped together to rotate through a large number of seals at a high velocity, completing the spell in record time before lifting his hands to the sky to release the special molded chakra he had created into the sky. With unnatural speed black cloud formed overhead and a strong wind began blow throughout the entire work area as a tornado funnel began to drop from the black cloud and to where Tama was, making quick work of the all the debris without getting into anyone else’s work area; though there was nothing he could do for the strong winds.
Tama shifted his up-stretched arms to form a full circle before he brought the hands back together to form a seal that would fully activate the seal the tornado had effectively eaten. All the material gathered up began to be broken down by Tama’s Seikon energies that were formed into the seal and recreated to their strongest forms before being brought down by the tornado into three neat separate piles; brick, wood, and metal, all that could be reused into the forming of this new hospital.

It had been one of the few things that had reached his ears upon first returning to Sunagakure. The attack of the mythical Djinn and the subsequent destruction of the medical facility. When such a beacon is lost, much more perishes than just the services it offered, but the hope of aid that the villagers saw in it. Rebuilding, as with any facet of life after great tribulations, was of utmost importance. While Uri had had little time to really settle into the village, he had made a promise to help restore this facility from the ground up, even if it meant doing it by himself. Before reaching the construction site, which was clear by the numerous number of volunteers, supply wagons, and shinobi heading in that direction, the world builder stopped to remove his gloves. Staring down at his palms he gazed over the runic symbols burned into his flesh, scarred to the core of his being on such a level that they were as much a part of him as his own soul. A soft glow emitted from them as he knelt on the path way, stamping his hands into the ground with a single, but firm thrust.

Brief lines of chakra shot outward from Uri's position and soon the earth of the roadway came to life, twisting and writhing, growing up towards the faux sky. After mere moments, an army of clay men were formed. At attention, they all looked to their creator awaiting orders. With a satisfied nod, he continued onward towards the construction site, observing as shinobi began their work. Construction was unique when shinobi were involved, but it also was limited by the use of chakra. Intelligently managing the use of ninja techniques is what made the process quick and efficient. Unwrapping a sucker from his inside pocket, he popped the pink and blue swirled candy between his lips and looked around for someone to speak for. Once in the main yard space, the clay constructs remained where they were, out of everyone's way until such a time they were needed. Approaching one of the few working with jutsu, since it would be reasonable to assume if they were working, they knew at least part of the plan, Uri hailed the blue-haired ninja.

"Mighty fine work. Few are capable of bending earth like that!"<i></i> He extended a hand and offered a kind smile, "I'm Kuroda Uri, an architect, manipulator of metal, earth, and seal artist. I heard the medical branch were looking for capable hands. I brought a couple hundred to start with."<i></i> He jabbed a finger back at the large group which looked more like a series of still statues now, "I wish to find the person in charge so that I may offer my experienced hands in helping heal the village. Metaphorically, of course. I'm no med-nin."<i></i>

[OOC: Sorry it took so long to post back, I wanted to make sure everyone who wanted to join, had a chance. If you have any questions, PM me. I tried my best here but it was a lot to respond to and do all in one post. But at least now things will roll forward. Once this is done I will be running med exams for Tama/Shinbatsu and anyone else in need of one.

I promise my next post will be much smaller and easier to digest.

Also, for now just act like you have knowledge of the blueprint. Saemon is still creating it so I can't post it yet. But I will try and get her to finish it before we finish this thread. As far as I remember, only a few more floors need to be finished and then the Med district will have a full floorplan.]

Juzo was approached by a man calling himself Onamuji shortly after he carved out the rockwall. The Med-nin was sure that this man was not on the medic roster but that didn't discount him from getting his hands dirty. In fact, it showed a certain level of initiative or, perhaps, a guilt ridden conscious. Luckily Juzo didn't particularly care either way, as long the the building was competled in a timely manner. "There is enough work to go around. Let us wait for more to arrive before we begin the next stage of construction."

As he spoke another arrived. This one was younger and seemed more impressionable. "Yes, there will be a use for you once we have more people. Do you have any special jutsu or affinities that may assist in this construction, Susumu?"

From there representatives from the Toraono clan arrived and Juzo recognized one of them immediately. It seemed the clan head had come along as well. "Greetings Toraono, your chakra will be needed today. Though the blueprints are available already, if you have any suggestions you should examine them and then let me know." And then a trio of young women arrived with feline companions. "Just wait here for now. I will be announcing something first and then we will have jobs for everyone."

Up until this point his face had remained in the same expression of indifference. Seemingly detached from the situation and the scars of great carnage that were the remnants of the prior Medical building. Then two of the Yamazaki arrived in carts. One seemed to be setting up for triage, "Good, good." Juzo thought as he knew they would need to replenish their chakra to get this done in a timely manner.

The head of their clan even approached in a charismatic fashion. As usual Juzo remained still and focused. Iori's offered hand was examined, both front and back, with a skilled eye before he committed to the handshake. The medic with orange eyes was not generally in favor of physical contact outside the context of a fight but this was the social convention. Grudgingly he firmly shook once before withdrawing his hand from the near stranger. "That sounds great, our shinobi will surely need sustenance. We will also need muscle for finishing and reinforcing walls and flooring."

He merely kept the mention of fire in mind. They wouldn't need much of that during the course of this project. From there another approached with the intention of assisting in the grand reconstruction. One Sagasu Yume who was most definitely on the medical roster. "If you can, quickly remove the dust that was left behind by my jutsu. I will give further orders in a moment."

At this point he felt like a broken record. But he knew they were nothing more than aimless. Soon enough they would all have a focus and a reason. Perhaps by then the Kazekage would show up as well. The man would be needed to fully authorize funds.

And just when he felt they wouldn't be receiving any more assistance from shinobi two more showed up. One was a man and the other was a young man. The young man made quite the commotion and was father away, being near the old building, but it was still visible from the new location. Meanwhile a literal army of the same man arrived on the scene. He introduced himself as Uri and much like the head of the Yamazaki clan, he insisted on a handshake. Again Juzo quickly examined both sides of the man's hand before he extended his own to reciprocate the gesture. "You will assist me in this next step. Build up as much chakra as you can and be ready for some metal jutsu imitation." By now Juzo started to move away from the group but he continued to speak over his shoulder to this 'Uri'. "I presume you can mirror my movements to a suitable degree?"

Hopefully he had experience doing jutsu with a partner otherwise this would be a little bit less efficient than doing it himself. For now he would address those who had assembled. The Med-nin used his mastery of Earth jutsu to raise himself up about 5 feet from the floor, making him visible to everyone who had assembled. "Greetings Sunans. We are....... pleased to have your assistance today."

The man before them continued in a confident tone. "As you can see our foundation is finished and the opening in this rock wall will contain the entire building. The construction will happen in four phases."

"First we will make the support structure. This is the barebones of our building and it has to be approximately 44% stronger on the lower four floors."

"Afer that, our second phase is laying down flooring and putting up walls. This will be the longest portion of the construction."

"Third we will be placing protective seals at various vital points as well as stocking some of the more common machines as well as the cafeteria. So furniture will be moved in at this point."

"The fourth stage will be composed of bringing in and placing all our delicate machinery as well as putting the finishing touches on the interiors."

He paused so they could absorb and make sense of what he had just said. The man only did so for a few short moments. "Uri, could you assist me on this?" Juzo turned toward the opening in the rockwall and he made a 'Snake' seal with his hands and then he held it to give Uri time to prepare. The man didn't necessarily need to know the layout as Juzo knew it and would be direction the chakra. He just needed someone else to apply some chakra to the attempt as it would drain hims own reserve much less. When the man was ready he would begin going through a very basic and deliberate set of seals.

Snake. Dog. Dragon. Snake. Snake. Dragon. Snake. Ram. Rat. Snake. And then he held it there and focused.

From there the earth would shake slightly and a metal structure would begin to form on its own, seemingly, as a liquid metal erupted from within the earth. At first it was amorphous and uninteresting. But quickly enough it would move with life of its own and start to form into the very obvious shape of a building's internal support system. Large beams of steel formed, bent and twisted making a loud noise that would cause those with a particularly weak constitution some level of discomfort. For the first thirty seconds or so it wouldn't move very quickly but every second after that caused the great structure to begin moving more and more.

A bead of sweat dripped down his brow and he could feel how close he was pushing himself to his limits. While Juzo had a decent pool of chakra, he would never be world renowned for having an enormous pool because, simply, he didn't. But that didn't stop him from doing big things. After a good three minutes the structure would be complete and the pair could stop their efforts. When Juzo did he felt a twinge in his stomach, "I will need to consume calories soon." The man thought to himself. From there he would look to Uri. "That was good."

Then he would look to the rest. "Now....."

"Begins phase two."
Then he dropped down to a sitting position on his raised plot of earth. "Wakahisa, while the walls and flooring is being done, you will need to begin laying down the electrical grid and outlets. Get on it."

"Anyone else with skill in lightning jutsu or electrical wiring, please give her a hand. Everyone else can begin using the resources provided by ...... that young man over there, as well as those that are being delivered now."
While they had been working the officially funded resources began to arrive in bulk. It would be everything they needed to finish the project. Only time was their restraint now. For a few minutes Juzo would catch his breath and see what these other shinobi did. Observation was key, after all. While he sat, he thought about one thing. "Not one questioned my authority so far. Even though I am sure I have never seen half of their faces before..." Juzo's mind continued along that line going off on tangents every now and again. Luckily it was all mental chit-chat and he didn't force his fellow Sunan's to endure it.

Her task was menial but it gave her something to do rather than stand around like everyone else and squawk. The sounded like chickens looking for grain. Me next? Me next? Yume polietly pushed her way out of the crowd and created a little dust devil to sweep the area. Each time the powerless cyclone became too heavy to continue, she would ease the resulting grit to the floor off to the side of the location. If anyone had a decent power with earth jutsu's they would be able to reform the remnants into new stone, forcing it to return to the strong substance it once was. As she wandered back over, she could hear Juzo explaining the stages that it would take to rebuild the hospital. Yume figured she wouldn't be needed until it came to the third or fourth but she was willing to help with whatever her task may be. Through the crowd the Mednin espied Uri whom she had showed around ruins at an earlier time. She was comforted to know that he was serious about his promise to help Suna rise from the literal rubble and ash. Keeping back, Yume would crouch next to CuRua and watch the men work.

What do you think about all this?

I think that something fishy is going on. They don’t need this much help right off the bat. We’re going to watch the stronger shinobi complete the basic structure and then those of us who aren’t engineers will help with the finishing touches… which I’m just fine with. I don’t like that I’ve never heard of this Juzo fellow and he’s leading the reconstruction.

At least there are those you do know. Kimi is here. Yamasaki-sama and Chizuru are also here… even that Uri guy who promised he would be here turned out. The Toraono’s will also be an asset. Things will be fine.

Sousuke isn’t here. He’s the Steward and this is a major engineering feat. It just doesn’t add up… AND that’s another thing. Sousuke rarely physically interacts with people because he doesn’t quite get it. It’s obvious when he tries that it’s mechanical rather than heartfelt. This guy seems to be disgusted by it. Researcher do you think? Or maybe someone pulled out of retirement? He doesn’t look that old though. I wonder who he is.

Her appearance didn’t change as they exchanged thoughts. Her visage remained stoic and her lips were pursed in a neutral expression. Something felt wrong… but what?

Hiku was now a sophisticated wooden creation and for the better. Even though he had to make some serious sacrifices he definitely had more room to work with his thoughts, and his abilities. Everything from a puppet's eye view was so different. While normally Hiku would wonder about how something would affect, now he was just concerned about what he could do to improve himself, literally. Hiku made it his personal effort now to incorporate improvement into everything. Even when the world cracked around him improvement could be found if the person tried.

His appearance had taken a major turn as well, since converting his body to that of a puppet. His new frame, had indigo hair and a metallic lower jar. The rest of the body was wooden, with small amounts of metal here and there, serving as protective plates. His eyes were still of not, a more vibrant green. Hiku wore a full black body suit that even covered the lower half of his face. He also wore black gloves to cover his puppet like hands. A tan cloak hung around his body, hiding the large scroll that he had on his back.

Today however, instead of improving himself he'd help improve the village. The Djinn a foe Hiku still had faint feelings from, destroyed the Medical Facility. Now this was Hiku's chance to help fix some of the damage that had been inflicted. His surgery had swallowed up time, but the effects were too fruitful to be upset. He knew he would be slightly late to the gathering but he did have a plan about what he would do. When Hiku arrived it seemed like the head of the group, a man he had once met at the gates, had finished giving out instructions. It seemed as though everyone was getting into positions to begin working. Hiku would wait in the crowd, looking for a moment to speak to the man known now as Juzo.

When the crowd dispersed he would move forward trying to get to the leader of this whole operation. Upon reaching him Hiku would speak, with his voice crackling slightly. "Hello I'm Hasu Hikudori, sorry I'm late. Now that I'm here where do you want me placed at? I can use the Wood Element, to help with the reconstruction. Also how are your hands looking for the crew exactly? Do you need a lot more people or you have just enough? He'd discontinue speaking to Juzo not wanting to keep blabbing aimlessly. Hiku would observe the group who were trying to get things in motion on the new reconstruction. It looked like it would be one of those get in, where you fit in situations and if that was the case then he'd be here ready.

As he observed an idea slowly formed in his head. "Hmm, if they don't have enough hands here, I could always use that new summoning technique I studied. I don't have all the necessary components to make them lethal weapons, but using my mokuton, might be all I need. It would definitely be a grand test, but I can't go about it normally, if I do they'll find out quicker." Using certain techniques, would always give away Hiku's predicament if he was not careful. He didn't need the investigations that may follow if the general population found out. Then again compared to people like Kuro, he was still minuscule.

[spoilername="Note to those who can see Chakra"]If you can see chakra then it will please you to know I have a unique description: Hiku's chakra system exists, but it is far from normal. There is a focal point where the majority of the chakra resides, that constantly is moving around Hiku's body gently, like paper in the wind. The chakra pathway stems from the focal point creating faint paths and lines through Hiku's puppet body. If anyone saw this they'd immediately know something was off about Hiku's chakra pathway.[/spoilername]

The concept of simultaneous jutsu application was something Uri had dabbled in before. The act of channeling all of the chakra for a technique through one person was a daring move and often took a hefty toll on the person responsible for the manipulation. Uri usually being the most skilled of chakra manipulators had always led the task and knew exactly how daunting a chore it could be, especially when the extra source of chakra behind the initial was of great strength as well. Between the two of them they were probably capable of raising the whole village up to the surface in a matter weeks, maybe even days if they strained themselves. They moved together like a mirror, handseals in sync as the life energy flowed between them, Uri pushing forward as much into the move as he could without metaphorically pushing Juzo over. A tightness overcame his body, but it was a familiar and welcome drain on his own reserves. Construction with a shinobi learned in the ways of metal and earth made erecting new structures simple.

As the skeleton came into being, solidifying into place at the will of its creator the SNAP with the end of the technique caused a pleasurable chill to run down Uri's spine. It had been a long time since he had been offered a true use for his talents. This hospital would come to life in no time at all at this rate. Even if it took them some time to recharge and build up their chakra again, to build something so large and so ambitious even in a week's time is unheard by normal standards.

Once they were finished, Uri leaned back, setting his hands onto his waist, stretching, "Wooooooooooooo-wee. That was quite good, wasn't it?"<i></i> The strain on Juzo's features showed, and Uri knew what it would be like to continue working at that pace. Whether or not this person was the foreman, he certainly knew a great deal of the plans. Reaching into the satchel that was strapped around his form, he pulled out two plastic-wrapped items and tossed one to Juzo, "Protein bar. Granola, flax seed, buncha other good stuff for yah. I imagine we'll need the strength."<i></i> He smiled, offering that same congenial grin he did for everyone, "How about I field the next one? I've got a way with minerals."<i></i> He opened his palms to reveal the symbols burned into his palm, runic markings that seemed to pulse with a faint energy.

And stealing the move from Juzo's book, he raised his hands up, creating a pillar of earth to elevate him several feet in the air to gain some attention, "Attention all workers! See those guys?"<i></i> He gestured to the unarmed stone warriors that had marched up with him, "Just shout at them or give them a tap on the shoulder and they'll aid you in their work."<i></i> Uri stepped forward and the pillar descended down quick enough for him to land on flat ground when he stopped, "So what's the next step, Mister?"<i></i>

So the electricians needed help now? A tornado dropped some more recycled parts for the building as the scientist dusted his hands off. Lightning was his prime element as it turned out.

Without anyone giving him instructions Tama walked into the building’s frame and grabbed a spool of wire on his way across to a large section of the skeleton and dropped the wire on the ground as he started to look around at the frames, his eyes giving images in his head to make calculations with. Just by looking at how the building was being purposed to built by the skeleton he knew how much he would need to wire up.
Placing his hand on the spool the scientist closed his eyes and activated his latest chakra coil to break down the wire and himself and shift them up to the top of the fame. He untied the copper from the spool and began to pull large loops that he hung over his left shoulder before finally cutting it off clean by using his Seikon chakra at the tip of his finger. Continuing to use the infinitely useful white chakra the scientist began to slowly build up an electric grid by warping the frame so that it held on to the copper wire as he slowly worked his way down each floor of the building until he reached the bottom. From there he would warp back up the top, cut off some more wire, and redo the process until he had an entire section of the place wired up for general use.

Tama sent out a call to one of the clay golems that someone recommend they used to help with the reconstruction. It surprised the scientist a little when one of the stone men moved to the sound of Tama’s voice.
Bring me the grounding wire!” he called out from the top of the skeleton frame. Without delay the stone man went to fetch the other half of the scientist’s job. Once the thing grabbed onto the spool it turned and threw it up at the blonde who was, fortunately, able to catch it without being toppled over. He nodded his thanks and went to work on grounding the copper.

About two hours later the scientist had an entire wing completely wired up and ready for use. He already installed the outlets to be used once the system was turned on. It was all wired back to a room on the bottom floor that held a large generator he had built there on the spot; you didn’t really think he spent two hours setting up wiring did you? Oh goodness no, Tama is of the progressive sort.
With a final grunt and turn of a wrench the worn out inventor looked at his generator with pride. It would be able to run at least half of the facility on its own via the use of large lightning chakra crystals or a manual chakra pump that could fill up an emergency battery he had installed; it was how he tested if the device worked.
Of course there were a few flaws but they were fixed immediately and the blonde was convinced that his work here was done until he was told to do something else. Reaching behind him wearily the young man pulled up a tool bucket, flipped it, and flopped down on top of the iron. He craned his head up to look at the sky as sweat dripped from his face.

It was a really good start.

Kimi was excited to help, as were her tigers, and they helped the stone men carry heavy things. Her father stood near the man that had given instructions. He wondered how he recognized his smell. Was the man his age? If he was, that would take care of how he might know the man and his smell, but if not, why was his scent somewhat familiar?
"My good man, I seem to recall you from somewhere. Were you in the academy with me? It would have been many years ago."
.
Mio, given her assignment, went off to work and saw a man working on one wing. She almost scoffed when she saw how he was doing it. She waved Kimi over and asked her to bring her a bail of copper wire. The girl quickly came back with the necessary items, and Mio set to work. She didn't really recognize the man that was overseeing, but she almost didn't care. She just wanted a real place to work again.

Focusing her mind, she used her skills in electromagnetism to place the wire in proper areas. She then focused on anchoring it in place. Within an hour, she had an entire ward set up. Her eyes glowing golden, she moved on to the next ward.

The very crown of a head covering slowly rose from behind a cache of building materials, stored just away from the main group of workers who had been tasked with the rebuilding efforts. This rise would soon give way to the blackened optics of Mun who in his curious exploration had found himself in the one place a young boy his age had no real business in. His eyes shifted left and right, noting his surroundings to ensure he maintained that level of no detection in which he sought after for this particular play time. The boy's fingertips tightened along the edge of one of the crates to barely support his body weight as he with wide eyes watched a few participants begin to make some steady progress in their efforts.

And that is where the boy saw something that fascinated him moon than anything he had ever encountered...

They were like gifts from the Loa's themselves, large moving hunks of stone fashioned in the likeness of men. He, as a young male youth, naturally found them to be possibly the greatest thing in existence at the current time. It was because of this childish nature that his lips curved into a wide smile and his body slunk down behind the stacked boxes of building supplies. There was no mistaking it at all, he had to bring one of the stone warriors back home and make it his personal play toy cause it was way better than the usual sand shinobi figures he had. Quietly tip-toeing over to the edge of the box, Mun's beady eyes peeped out for a split second to see if the coast was clear before he quickly edged to the next pile of stacked materials. Sliding his back against the crates fully with both arms outstretched, he could feel his eyes narrowing again as just as before he would look to his left or right.....

A stone giant was going to be his and he could not wait to get it back home and freak his mother out. This small image in his head of her reaction made her pucker up once again. Hopefully no one found him soon because he truly wanted one of those interacting power houses of earth.

So many people had been gathered to help rebuild the medical center, It was absolutely amazing! Chizuru wasn't one for large crowds, but seeing so many people wishing to have the medical center rebuilt warmed her heart. She was nothing but smiles and blushing as she served various energy packed meals from her little mobile kitchen. If there were two things she was good at it was cooking and the medical field. Why she enjoyed serving others so much was beyond her but if it meant helping with the rebuilding efforts then it was doubly so. Chizuru wasn't all that concerned with whom was who here. She just readily assumed that the person giving out the orders had been paid by the village council to get the rebuilding underway. She watched as her father mingled so easily with the man in charge and offered his help as well. She was a bit jealous that she didn't get his easily outgoing attitude and instead would have been unable to properly introduce herself to the man like that. Only when she was doing something that pre-occupied her mind could Chizuru be a social creature, much like now as she was serving the hungry and thirsty workers.

“Come and get some energy-packed and very healthy finger food! There's also water for the thirsty. Let me know if you want something custom ordered.”

Chizuru was far too busy to spot the little boy, Mun, off on his own little adventure to try and capture a golem for himself or she would have said something for fear of his safety.

[OOC: New rule, my post will come in 72 hour burst at the latest. Post or be skipped. next post on: Thursday Sep 05, 2013 12:11 am]

Juzo felt deflated. His chakra pool was severely drained and he felt how sluggish his own movements became. But the ever quick mind continued to move, observe and evaluate his surroundings. In a time of war this would be the moment his opponent struck at him. That thought stuck with him as he accepted the food that Uri had tossed. With an absent mind his hands removed the plastic shielding and lifted the nourishment to his nose for olfactory examination. After it was deemed safe he poured most of it into his mouth and swallowed. No chewing necessary.

After that he poured the rest in and repeated his earlier demonstration. He didn't think anyone would notice really and he wasn't about to explain either. While doing so he was spoken to by Uri. In this state his usual public image was slightly shaken. Underneath was a nearly identity-less shinobi who kept a calm demeanor and a straight face who barely picked up on comedy. "Yes. Yes, you will definitely have to. That was rather unpleasant...."

Another man asked him about his history. "I do not believe so." Was the most he could manage under the circumstances. In almost all cases he refused to talk about his own history but usually he deflected the questions much better. From there Uri spoke again, this time an inquiry.

"Once the wiring, floors and walls are in place we will reinforce this place through means of chakra. It is a basic in building maintenance these days but at the time of the building of this center it was not." For the time being they had a few hours while nameless workers followed the shinobi laying down the groundwork. The ends were organized properly, the wiring was checked and double checked before flooring was put in. It seemed clones from Uri and the strongmen from the Yamazaki's were quite an asset in doing some of the more strenuous activities. After a few hours it would seem like they were most of the way done with the building. And in a way, they were. But as the time went on Juzo rose to his feet and brought the ground below his feet up as well, putting himself a few feet higher than anyone else.

"We will break for now. Get food, get drink, get rest. The construction will begin again tomorrow at roughly the same time." Juzo spoke directly and with a mild smile on his face. He felt better after recovering his chakra back. So after his announcement the man hopped down from the mound of earth he had caused to rise and made his way towards the Yamazaki wagons.

"Water?" He spoke to the younger of the two nobles. A simple request in the grand scheme of things.

Chizuru watched as the man whom she was still unfamilliar with rose himself up on that pedestal and began to talk to everyone. That sure was a rather nifty jutsu he was capable of using...well his use of it was nifty, she was quite sure that probably wasn't the original purpose of it. While she was admiring his technique, Juzo began to approach and before she knew it, he was asking for water. Chizuru fumbles a bit with the spatula in her hand before catching in and blushing deeply. She had gotten lost in her thoughts but Juzo's request brought he rout of them.

“Y-yes sir, as you wish!”

She turns around and fetches a bottle of mineral water, some of the Yamazaki's finest. It was guaranteed to quench thirst, recharge electrolytes, and give a boost of energy!

“Do enjoy, good sir...and...uhm if I may be so bold...may I inquire as to who exactly are you?”

As she talks she seemed as if she were trying to hide behind the counter of her mobile kitchen carriage, so nervous when dealing with those outside of her family or who was not a patient within her care.

“I do not mean to sound rude, I'm just not overly familiar with all the faces here.”
