Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Darting through the dense growth of shubbery just outside the forest of death Nanashi scaled through the shiny, silver, wired fence with a large smile. It was mid-day with the sweltering sun at its peak but this would not deter the tenacious uchiha who seemed focused in his task. Reaching to the ground with both legs from the air, his feet were gently received on the soft but thick gathering of grasses which grew on the other side of the fence. "She said he ran off in this direction while chasing a squirell so I'm guessing he is stuck on a tree"" he said unhanding his backpack and unveiling from it, a dry ink painting of the old woman's black cat that had gone missing for three days, one which she described as calm and non violent as seen in its large green eyes. This of course was the young Uchiha's first mission since graduating from the ninja academy and his first solo outing in the woods; being the adoptive son of Takeshi - the uchiha clan head, he had never been with a reason to go that far so there were lots of positives to take from this. "Just one little black cat huh? How hard can it be?" he spoke out scratching his head in a confused but optimistic state as he looked at the unfamiliar land he was about to explore.

Happy as a clam he continued further into the forest looking for clues but as he got deeper it started to become obvious that this was going to be a bit difficult if not more than he had hoped. From the corner of his eyes he spotted what seemed like an endless sea of trees stretching as far as his peering eyes could see but none of which housed the missing black cat. Seconds quickly turned into minutes and every time he got past a tree in search of the cat it felt like the one before.

The bleary Uchiha after four hours of a non rewarding search thought it best to have a rest, however long it may be on the bark of a huge oak tree with branches extending relatively far from the other trees around it. The 8 year old didn't feel lost in anyway but he was tired and in truth what choice did he have? his soggy eyes could no longer attain awareness or understanding of what he saw before him - everything felt the same. "Come on Hino, how long do I have to search for you?" He said falling down back first in the shade provided by the large tree.
He had barely sealed his eyes shut amidst the gentle breeze which provided cool to his parched skin when he spotted a black silhouette at the far corner on the top of the tree. Nanashi couldn't really believe his luck. It was a cat stuck on the top of tree! He looked at the painting once more and indeed it was the cat that had gone missing! Perhaps luck was the only way of putting it he figured as he thought more about it. After all, the old woman didn't say anything about tall trees and although he thought about it himself he couldn't have known which. But still, the found cat meant that Nanashi would earn some cash which was needed to further his desire in becoming the greatest ninja in the leaf. Channelling chakra to his feet he slowly climbed up the tree and gently picked up the cat who didn't seem to mind even outside of its placid nature as it wasn't used to being without constant care. "Come one Hino, let's go home"

The End.
