Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

It was supposed to be a night, perhaps at most a few days. The Kazekage had given her a "room" in the tower. Room being a relative word because it was more like a small apartment. Clean, simply but nicely furnished with a nice view on the tenth floor (unless told otherwise). She was unprepared for a lengthier stay, on her first evening she spent her hours in the bazaar shopping for clothes, basic toiletries, food because she had only taken with her on her journey to Sunagakure exactly what she needed, nothing more. The Kazekage, incredibly busy it would seem, was not able to meet with her right away which might have been a willful decision considering the fact that he lived and worked in the very same building, allowed for a modicum of routine to quickly form for the usually rather regimented woman. Perhaps the Kazekage was cleverer than he appeared. She spent her next morning in the Great Library, reviewing the archives on the very matter that had brought her to Sunagakure's doorstep. She continued to write for the archives, this time from the small apartment. She started teaching classes at the Academy. Eventually someone from her past proved to still be alive and she needed to see him recover. So seemed to find only reasons to stay in a place from which she had only sought reasons to leave and remain away in thanks to Raizo.

There was only one problem: "the smell of the sea" that emanated from one small child that lived in the tower. She did not understand the relationship between Raizo and the boy but she knew him from multiple chance encounters as Hoji. A rather energetic, enthusiastic youth with a speech impediment and a pet bat. The culprit was obvious, the blue shorts he had donned. The same blue shorts she had seen him wearing in the badlands during their first encounter, the same blue shorts she had seen on him in multiple subsequent encounters. They were in dire need of laundering.

She had to do her own laundry rather regularly because she had only brought two sets of clothes from Soons Haven, enough to make the journey and bought another three in the marketplace. It was not because she was incapable of affording more, she simply did not require much and there was nobody to impress. So laundry was also a part of her routine, often every other day. As one might assume looking at her, she preferred things left neat, smelling fresh. Unfortunately, as enthusiastic as this youth was, the scent of a desert fishmarket wafted through these halls. Her plan was simple, or so she thought, offer to do his laundry. Being a teen, like many boys in their adolescence, hygiene was not a priority or a consideration. Washing clothes was seen as a chore and they were simply unaware of their presence (or the fact that they would never be able to enter stealth if they could be tracked by scent).

She would leave her designated apartment, basket of clothes in hand and knock on the door which belonged to Hoji. She was somewhat certain he was there for... well... reasons.

When the door eventually opened or she was otherwise addressed or made aware of Hoji's presence, she would make a blunt request. "Can you give me your shorts so we can get them washed?" No lengthy explanation, no tedious small talk. She was direct and to the point even if out of context the request would sound incredibly awkward (as would the requests she would surely make of Raizo if he dared tread on this thread).
