Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Normally Uri's talents were used to help rebuild or restore balance to an otherwise hectic situation, but this time the village sought to put him to work gathering information. While many people wouldn't have considered him a bookworm-type, he thoroughly enjoyed being surrounded by knowledge. Records and archives contained some of the most rich information anywhere, and to be let into the cold vaults of Sunagakure was almost a surprise to him. While he was tasked with the specific research of metal and magnetic-based clans, he could take his time to learn about anything in all of Wind Country's history, stretching all the way back to the First Men.

Descending beneath the Kazekage's tower, deep into the bowels of the hollowed out tunnel systems he arrived at a massive room that seemed almost as overwhelming as the whole of the village. It looked like a hive, rows of reinforced steel doors ran around the room, floor after floor containing data that hadn't been looked at for years. As he walked towards the center of the stadium-sized vault, he was glad he had been given research assistant, people who had been charged with maintaining these numerous vaults. Oh, that was right, this one vault was strictly for the clans of Sunagakure and nothing more. From what he was told, there were numerous hive-like archives under the village, all equally enormous.

After what seemed like days, Uri was at a table, hunched over a massive tome that was about the size of his torso. The yellowed pages and scent of old, cured animal skin were proof of its ancient origins. In it were lists of names, family trees, genealogies that went back to the foundations of Sand. A lot of people had family here, and it even detailed shinobi lineages, unique genetic markers for groups that gave them special powers. But this was only one book, starting with the As. There were another two dozen of books similar to this one that Uri had to go through. Clones and assistants both helped organize and take data. The report he would have to put together would be massive and probably take a day in itself to read over.

Having started in the early morning, the time was cresting back around towards that exact same time. Nearly a day had passed, they had taken meals, and brief moments of rest. By the end of it, Uri had identified a couple dozen clans that met the criteria of his search and just under a dozen that had left Wind Country. Out of his own curiosity he had checked for his own family name, but hadn't found his father's family anywhere in the records. He would remember to return later and continue searching at a later date. Stretching his aching bones, he watched as the remainder of his clones replaced all the ancient records back to their original resting places. The assistants, handling multiple notebooks worth of notes for themselves left when Uri had finished his tidying up. Together, and finally finished, they left and resealed the cold vault once more.
