Night had fallen over the village, and for the most part, everyone was resting peacefully. Everyone except Hoshitsu. After going out and experiencing the random and adventurous nature of the village, he couldn't help but yearn for more. thoughts raced through his mind. ' Its like this place is just buzzing with interesting people. I wonder what kind of things happen during this hour'. Curiosity got the better of him, so Hoshitsu grabbed his pouch and dressed himself. He'd make sure to bring some snacks and a few cigarettes with him, in case he found a nice spot to relax.
He took to the roofs of the houses in his neighborhood after scaling the walls. ' Might as well get some training in while I'm out'. He ran through the residential district without much difficulty, but the town was essentially a playground, getting out in the wilderness on the other hand might prove to be more of a challenge. Enjoying the slight chill in the air, and the lights from a half moon, and the glow of the entertainment district in the distance, Hoshitsu approached the edge of the village proper. He made his way to the outskirts of the Ancient forest. ' There's no way I'm messing with anything in there. not at this time of night. I better stick to the open area near the river'.
Spying a tall tree standing alone in the field, Hoshitsu scoped the area for signs of danger. There were a few odd noises coming from the forest, but they were far off. Not likely to venture out into the open. A few bats swooped around catching the bugs that littered the outer area. Hoshitsu focused his chakra and walked up the side of the tree. Walking on walls and such had become far more easy to do after all the practice he'd done. He had been taking things a step further in his own home, practicing how to hang from the ceiling, totally upside down. Finding a Low and sturdy branch, Hoshitsu clung to the bottom side, hanging from the tree by nothing but his chakra. ' It's liberating to be able to go where you please. I'm glad I've learned to move around better'. Looking towards the half moon shining in the sky, Hoshitsu produced a cigarette from his robes and lit it.
Hoshitsu looked out at the world and its luster. As he stared, the wind began to pick up and a nice cool breeze swept over the field where he hung. The tree swayed and rocked slightly in the wind, and gave Hoshitsu a comforting feeling.
"This is my home".
