Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Character's Physical Description:
Standing at a height of 9 feet 5 inches and weighing 1900 pounds, the brown-haired Jidai is a behemoth of a human being, if you can even call him that. With feet and palms bigger than human heads, the most normal, common aspect of his physical characteristics are pale, blue eyes. With these outstandingly unique features, it's quite easy to identify JIdai from quite some distance away. However, it's not just his size that makes him stand out, but his choice of clothing! Despite living in the desert, Jidai prefers to wear large sweats and hoodies that hide his abnormally gargantuan, muscular featuers. However, due to the lack of resources available for his show size, he tends to wear large sandals, slides, or flip-flops when walking about. Thus, his large feet are on display for everyone to see.

Character's Mental Description: Jidai, for better or for worse, and it’s usually for worse, is extremely apathetic as a result of having naturally dulled emotions. He can still feel the full scale of emotions, but it just requires a lot more of a particular stimulus to invoke an emotional response. Consequently, Jidai has learned to misappropriately associate certain emotions together. In Jidai’s case, adrenaline is misassociated with happiness, fear with anger, sadness with annoyance, surprise with anticipation, and disgust with hate. Because of this, Jidai is a pleasure and thrill seeker as he experienced that thrill seeking is the most sure-fire way of invoking some sense of feeling consistently. As a result, he sees the world through a gray tinted lens with potential thrills being the only events and situations that bring color to his life. Surrounded by a drab, colorless world, Jidai seeks normalcy and an escape from his nonchalance.

Multiple Personality Application: N/A

Character History:
Jidai’s childhood was boring. He woke up. He trained. He studied. He slept. Then, the next day would be the same, habitual routine for years and years to come. That was, until, that one fateful day. It was just a normal day. He woke up, brushed his teeth, wore his kimono, and recited the same required, generic phrases before sparring. For some background, sparring was always to be done at 30% of one’s capabilities. This rule was done with the intent to refine technique and spar for longer. However, on this particular day, one of the other children Jidai sparred with decided that it would be a good idea to not hold back against Jidai. It wasn’t. To be fair to the kid, Jidai was like a manican. He didn’t speak much. His facial expression never changed. And, he came off as the cool, mysterious one. There was no malicious intent from the child. It was simply kids being kids. Unfortunately, curiosity killed the kid. Being taken aback by the kid’s rush of attack, Jidai’s body beat with purpose for the first time. It was the first feeling he ever felt, surprise. And instead of defending himself, Jidai just watched in anticipation. Safe to say he didn’t anticipate a punch. Or the pain. Not his head hitting the floor. Or his vision shifting to the ceiling. Most of all, he didn’t anticipate the brightening of his world. The pain filled his body with adrenaline. Adrenaline that caused him to smile. With newfound strength and a clearer world, Jidai stood up. Unsheathed his sword. And slaughtered the kid. The other child spectators. And even went so far as trying to kill the proctors. But he was 9, and they were at least 30. They knocked him out, and as his vision faded, so did the color from his world. When he awoke, Jidai was met with packed bags and a note that congratulated him on surviving. His time at wherever he was was now over. It was time for the next stage of his life. It was time for the teenage years.
Being homeless really sucks, but his teens didn’t start off that way. Shortly after leaving wherever he first was, Jidai was human trafficked. He wasn’t abused or maltreated. In fact, his life wasn’t that different from before. He would occasionally get food, had to do whatever he was ordered to do, mainly murders, crimes, or housework, but the owners would occasionally change. He wasn’t abused or maltreated in the typical sense. Sure there might’ve been days he didn’t have food, but he was just very obedient and hard to hate. When owners were done with him; they got rid of him. And as he got older, fewer people wanted him. And that was probably because Jidai started to massively sprout (in both directions). Eventually he was on a train in the Desert Expanse headed towards the Daimyo. He along with many other...types of individuals...were to be sold for reasons unknown to them (as usual). Coupled with sad vibes, thoughts of the end, and multiple people cut and bleeding, the train ride to the Daimyo seemed, for a lack of better words, pathetic and boring. The train was saved in the great train robbery featuring the 10th Kazekage and Steward duo and the children sent to foster homes and parents within the great nation of Sunagakure. Jidai's competent and loving parents did all they could to accommodate Jida'i's unique features, but their love wasn't enough to turn the pages of Jidai's story for the better. Unfortunately, Jidai's parents were quite old and quite selfless. In trying to take the best care of Jidai, they neglected to take care of themselves. Thus, they passed, and Jidai was left to fend for himself. In his mind, there was only one place to go where he could survive and live a life devoid of stress but bursting with potential, colorful opportunities, the Ruins of Old Suna.
Down in the Black Bazaar and Red Light District, life wasn’t easy. He ended up joining a small-time gang with big numbers for his teens. They had a place, and although they weren’t exactly a charity, if you were part of the gang, you could live there. But it was really cut-throat and Darwinistic, but Jidai was able to consistently get a thrill from it, so he stayed. They each had to find their own way of stealing cash, food, and money. But in the end, the strong could bully the weak for things. It was, honestly, really dysfunctional, and there were a lot of mini-gangs inside of the gang with alliances whatnot. But it didn’t last long. One of the bigger guys tried to bully Jidai into giving him his hot, fresh meal and used some excuse about bills or something. Jidai refused. A fight ensued. The high status bully bit off more than he could chew and...shit happened. Apparently, there was some type of fucked up camaraderie within the gang, and Jidai had to be killed. Obviously Jidai wasn’t killed. Which makes sense given that Jidai, at this point in time, was nearly 8 feet tall and 1700 pounds.) Everyone else was killed, and Jidai lived off of their leftover food and money for quite a while, but karma caught up to him in the form of rent.

Rent’s a bitch.

Turns out those guys were good for something after all. They all contributed to paying the bills. Jidai didn’t even know there were bills to pay. So, he got evicted and now he’s a homeless adult looking at a dulled world. What a life. His first task, now, is to find a job, and his eyes are set on potentially using his unique characteristics for profit. There's only one answer that pops into the mind of Jidai, and it's a job like no other.

It's time to try out being a bodyguard for the Kazekage.

Changes and Edits were made: Most notable (besides Physical Appearance) are:

- History talks about how he got into Suna
- Jidai WILL be Main Branch; thus, I'm down for him being Chuunin
- Jidai will be looking to be a bodyguard for the Kazekage

If there are any questions or concerns. Let me know
