Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

The ground only made his feet feel more raw with each step; when you were traveling a day-long trip without resting, as exhausted as the Jun was from the ceaseless training that was done, one might feel tired too. He had learned much, and come to desire to learn even more. Now that he was back in the village, there was much he had to do. Now, one of those Guardians hiding within the shadows of the Keep would have to reveal themselves to allow the Jun and the Shaman following some distance behind him within their protection and back into the cities of Iwagakure and Maruishi.

He was home.

Keita was not the only one tired; behind him follow Kitsune longing to sleep in her own bed again. Sure sleeping out in the wilderness under the stars may be nice, but not as good as a comfy bed. The sight of the gates was a blessed one and hopefully they can enter as quickly as they left. Kitsune had taught Keita a lot about her ways and her gods on this journey. Sometime she should tell him of the prophecy of Luna’s return. When the seal grows weak Luna spirit will slip through the cracks and will itself a mortal vessel. After Kitsune’s demonstration of bringing an illusion to life, she can’t help but wonder if Luna wound find her worthy.

The Gates wasn't exactly a place she visited often. Many a time this was considered grunt work and she remembers her days past when this was the only kind of job she could get. But not anymore. Now she dealt with mostly loads of paperwork, training potential recruits, servicing the Goddess's wishes and tasks given to her, and handling matters of extreme security. Still though, she'd heard of a problem that had presented itself here and she stood, in her full armored glory, upon the top of the Keep.

She trained her eyes upon a new recruit, nervously looking over the edge. "Oh...oh gosh. This is really high. W-w-why did I agree to do this." The man seemed shaky, his ebony armor clattering with every small shiver that ran through his body. Megami looked at the other guy standing on the other side, who just shrugged as if understanding her own raised eyebrow. Obviously this was why she had been called. "If you can't keep it together, how can you do your job. You are supposed to instill strength and confidence in yourself for the people, not shake in your boots like a toddler." The man jumped in surprise, turning to his leader. He just nodded his head, as if still not understanding, but definitely not wanting to get chewed out by his boss.

Megami looked down, seeing the presence of two people. She sighed and leapt. She sped up her body, and flashed from one wall to another, repelling herself in a quick effortless series of vaulting, in a blitz of white light, before landing in a kneeling position in front of them and then lifting herself up with no effort. Megami stepped forward, face stoic in her presentation. Using her ability of analysis, these members showed cultural signs of being Iwa citizens."Welcome back, It's my duty to assist you. For record purposes, I'll need your names, and anything new you may have to report from outside the village." Megami was following protocol down to the very line. Perhaps those recruits will learn a thing or two if they saw her demonstrate.

It would seem that the gypsy-turned-Shaman wasn't as far behind as Keita had thought she was. For a while on the road, she hadn't been in his sight. Had she just gotten here now? Not that it mattered too much; more to the truth, Keita was rather impressed she could actually sneak up on him. He used to be more aware of his surroundings -- kept a guard up -- but since being out there...it just hasn't been the case. Few obvious forms could be seen throughout the keep, none, though, seemed interested in meeting the two. That was, until she appeared.

She came as a white blur, moving in every which direction before coming to a halt at the ground before them. Flashy, to say at the least. At least, they would be able to get into the city soon enough. Keita glanced back to Kitsune before back to the Guardian before them, waiting for their identifications.

"Keita, Shaman of Iwagakure." It would be pointless to name himself as the Jun, as the Medical Sennin, or as one of the leaders of the Fayth. If the Guardians archives kept information on that kind of information, the Jun would be surprised. Just a name and rank ought to suffice in this case. "With me is Kitsune of one of the gypsy clans of Earth country, she is a newly-inducted Shaman being trained in our arts of illusion and healing. We traveled to the great lakes of Earth Country south of the city, where we trained. We didn't encounter many on the road nor notice anything odd in any town. The country beyond our walls seems at peace."

[Poop post, sorry about that. Thanks for replying so fast.]

Having access to records on most of the people within in the village allowed her to keep up to date on many of the people within it, however she didn't have every name associated with a face. Many a time, she barely remembered the name. But until they had a more efficient filing system, it was one of the only ways to associate whom was apart of the village and whom was just trying to pass themselves off as a member of the village. For safety, she knew this was important to do her best to memorize the registries as they came up.

As she heard the man address himself as Keita, she placed an armored glove over her breastplate and bowed her head, in tribute of respect for that of an equivalent rank to herself. The shamans were respected as much as the guardians were and their work to the Gods and elements was vastly important. Megami turned to the other, Kitsune, and noted the gypsy attire. She wasn't often familiar with the gypsy's but she remembered this girl from a prior passing. Knowing that these members were official citizens and obviously posed no threat, she had no reason to hold them any longer. "Thank you for your cooperation. It is good to hear we see no potential threats on our distant border. Both of you are cleared for entrance into the village. Good day." Megami stepped back, and looked towards the top of the Keep. She bent her knees and gave a powerful vault before once more speeding her body up and flashing to various points up the large wall. It was not a task easy for most, but her skillful control of gravity and enhanced speed made it almost a reflexive movement. The large gates opened, in show of her allowance. Megami turned the man, still shaking in fear of either the height, or his boss, or maybe both. "And that's how it's done." The man gave a weak salute to her and nodded quickly. "Y-y-yes, Ma'am. Understood Lightning-Sama." And with that, she was back off to her other duties of the day.

Yep they were able to enter just as quickly as they left. She had to love the village of Stone. She remember times, back when her family was traveling from place to place, that she had to wait days outside the gates because it took so long to get processed. Maybe it’s because she’s an actual citizen to the village she is entering this time, but still that is a ridiculous wait.
