Physical Description: Akira is quite tall for his age standing 161 cm tall, and with a lean physique. Right now, he seems a bit awkward, with long limbs to his short body, but hopefully he will grow to out of this awkward phase. He has vibrant green hair that seems almost impossible to tame, and red eyes. His teeth are sharp, and he has to elongated canines sticking out form his upper jaw, this gives him an intimidating appearance. When it comes to clothing, Akira prefers warm colors, and earthy tones. He often wears dark red pants, black shinobi sandals, a dark brown and muddy yellow checkered jacket with a hoodie, and a mesh shirt underneath.
Mental description: Akira is an incredibly clumsy and cheerful boy, who at best could be called a bit whimsy. He often forgets appointments and things that concerns himself, and is almost always late to everything. But while he may seem irresponsible, he takes his responsibilities seriously and he will never break a promise. While he isn’t conventionally intelligent, he is incredibly good at thinking up traps and strategies on the fly. Though any plans he makes beforehand tends to, well, as the saying goes; “No battle plan ever survives contact with the enemy.”, and he usually ends up making things up as he goes.
Akira jokes a lot, and while he may seem to never take things seriously, he does worry a lot about his family. In addition, one of the reasons why he is late is usually because he has been running some errands for his mother or helping his sister. But even when he is worried and scared for his mother who is ill, he puts on a smile and acts his usual goofy self because he knows it makes his mother happy to see him happy. His lame jokes also always gets a laugh out of his sister, and he would do anything to keep her happy.
History: Akira lives with his sickly mother Nanao and his 5-year-old sister Aimi. Nanao has long been sick, and the recent turmoil is the Sand Village has not helped her condition at all. Akira’s father died when he was 6 years old on a mission, and the stress of his death and the recent birth of Aimi proved too much for her and she had a breakdown. Since then Nanao’s health has been incredibly fragile, and she doesn’t have the energy for much of anything anymore so it’s mostly up to Akira to take care of his little sister. One of the reasons why he wants to become a shinobi is to honor his father, but also so he can be strong and look after his family. In addition to school he tries to do anything he can to earn money so he can help alleviate his family's financial burden.
As his father was not native to Suna Akira only knows his relatives on his mothers' side, unfortunately his family has never been very big, and since his mother was an only child the only relatives he has had contact with had been his grandparents and a distant uncle Hideki (the only son of his grandmother's brother). His grandparents are now unfortunately dead, but his uncle visits occasionally when he isn't busy doing missions or drowning his sorrows in alcohol. All he knows about his father is that he was the only survivor of his clan and fled to Suna to start a new life, and if his father possessed a bloodline limit he never mentioned it to Akira.
