Message for the Raikage [Messenger bird]

The pigeon... was sort of flying in a straight line? Almost at the end the pigeon took a bit more height so he could have a smooth landing... Either this pigeon was tired or incredibly stupid. Because of making it to the landing, it missed it and smacked itself against the side. With a loud thud it would fall to the ground. It seemed that this was... something else than the usual ones they were to send.

The pigeon got up after the loud bang with the wall and started to walk a little disorient around. Maybe someone would pick up the poor thing?

[Maikeru]

"Lord, Raikage!"

A jonin burst into the office of Maikeru, very clearly out of breath, his chest heaving with every heavy and forced breath. In his hand he held a scroll with a seal Maikeru recognized all too well, causing a scowl to fall onto his face. With a shake of his head he simply held out his hand for the man to place the scroll into it. Nodding his head, the Jonin bowed before retreating out of the door of the office, closing it behind him. For a moment, Maikeru contemplated just burning the damned thing, but.. that's not what Ayumu would have done. That would be disrespectful to both offices.

Unfurling the scroll, he read it before rolling his eyes. Why would the plans of the leaf village possibly concern him? On top of that, he had just been sworn into office, he couldn't be leaving for something like this so soon into his tenure. Placing the letter onto his desk, he leaned back in his chair, running a hand through his white hair. Contemplating for a moment, he pulled a scrap of paper from a drawer of his desk, and began to jot a letter for return.
