It was a brand new day for Yuu in academy grounds as he carried his new sword to start training. Yesterday, he wanted to get serious on sharpened his fighting skills first, so he had to buy a weapon to get it started. He wanted to try unarmed fighting first, but he wanted to try fighting with a sword so bad, that he browsed some weapon shops despite his age to start. As for the sword he just bought, it was called the Newborn Surge Blade and it was supposed to have a history behind it, but the shopkeeper forgot about it except he told him that the sword wasn't upgraded for years now. As he thought about this, he felt he can able to bring out it's true potential as he also grew as a ninja.
As he drew out his sword, he then remembered from the books he read from the library about the basics of sword Taijutsu, such as downward slash or spinning slash. And he knew that in any form of battle was that he have to keep his guard up the whole time, but since he only fight without shields, dodging and parrying was his only options in his style of fighting. Now that he finalized his fighting style, it's time for him to start his training. Imagined that his opponent was right in front of him, he started to make some type of slashes he thought along with horizontal slashes and diagonal slashes. Also, he imagined the opponent attacking him as well, so he also dodged and parry from his imaginary opponent's attacks.
Due to his grunts and screams heard around the academy grounds, Yuu knew somebody would hear him by now. But since he was busy training, he knew he had a lot of explaining to do when they did.
