Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

Earlier in the day, the descendant of Byakko was back in the Red Light District again “assisting” the ANBU with the eliminating of numerous Bingo Book entries that loved to hide out and do their business in this area of the country. There were probably numerous reasons for wanting to participate in the shady business that occurred down here, but of the main reasons had to be the thrilled that people felt down here with little to no consequences for their actions. As many people already knew in the village, and possibly worldwide, the Red Light District was known for corruption in many forms that included prostitution, child slavery, and drug trafficking. It also was the place that Kyuji was spending more and more time at to try to clean it up in the hopes that someday, he wouldn’t have to worry about the youth of this village ever entering this place and getting mixed up with the wrong people and having their lives spiral out of control as he saw with Aikayume Azusa and his own life due to her addiction to Stardust and prostituting herself moons ago.

His targets for today were four individuals who had distinct features about them and were quite skilled in the field of smuggling and combat. The four of them had been accused of assault and poaching unsurprisingly by what they were called according the Bingo Book entry. It appeared from the entry that the head of the group was Uchiha Akagitsune. The individual had red hair and permanently exposed sharingan meaning that he had been able to unlock the true power of the Uchiha Clan being the Eternal Mangekou Sharingan. He also didn’t seem to care much about his appearance as dressed in leather which would be torturing in the exposed heat that people could feel at times in the country. Lastly, he was skilled in fire ninjutsu and could use taijutsu which was no surprise since the Uchiha Clan were known for their proficiency in fire-style techniques.

The next member of this group was a Haku Burūkādo who appeared to be pale and had ice-like blue eyes. Like the leader, he enjoyed to stick out for a criminal by wearing a button down shirt that was tucked in and a pair of trousers. He appeared from his description to be the one who dressed the fanciest and this should be useful to finding him and eliminating him. Like Akagitsune, he had a special gift passed down through his family as he was a Haku who had nearly perfect accuracy and preferred to use senbons over any other object.

The third member of the group was Santaru Inuwashi, who was blonde-haired and the shortest of the group standing in at only five foot six. But like the rest of his group, he didn’t try to hide his appearance as he preferred to wear a knee-length dark jacket regardless of the weather. As for his combat prowess, he seemed to focus on wind and lightning style techniques which was most beneficial to him considering his family heritage had parts of the Santaru Clan in it.

The fourth and finally member of the group was Mister Inuzuka Gurīndoragon. This individual was seen wearing reading glasses while not in combat and appeared to be the brains behind the operations as he was listed as a bookish man. While he was a part of the Inuzuka Clan, he did not possess a partner that many of them did and tended to hide in the shadows during a fight until there was an opening. At the very least though, Kyuji now knew that one could fight close and long range, two preferred long-range attacks, and one was still a wild card. He however did not like the fact that he was going into his hunt without more information on Gurindoragon’s combat style or where they preferred to hide out as a group.

Due to this reason, that is why Kyuji had decided to pick the Red Light District of all places in the country. He had a history in this area and he knew that many of the criminals loved to hide out down here merely because the law was more lenient for now. Hopefully in the future, the descendant of Byakko would be able to get the law stricter and turn this place from a “Hellhole” to somewhere that anyone could visit and not feel like they were going to be in danger nor leave with a broken shell of their former self. Besides, their crimes would make sense to be associated with being down in this part of the country since selling sandworm eggs wasn’t advisable due the potential danger that was contained within them; that is why it made sense to trade them either on the outskirts of the country away from most of civilization or trade them somewhere that the criminals would try to use them for their own personal gains even if it killed them in the process.

Luckily for Kyuji since this was his story, he would have a lucky break and find these individuals without much of an effort. You see these four, while being excellent businessmen since there was no real competition for sandworm eggs since they were rare, were not exactly the smartest when it came to their clothing and it made them stick out like a sore thumb. It didn’t help matters that sandworm eggs were not exactly tiny little items to carry around nor the fact that they were slowed down due to the weight of the eggs that they carried. Therefore, things were not that difficult for the descendant as he would wait until they entered a café to order some drinks before dropping a smoke bomb and going in with his celestial blade piercing through one of them from one side and out the other. Of course, he didn’t know which one it was due to the smoke and he could hear the other ones making a run for it as the one target would collapse to the ground and his eggs would be taken from his person and smacked on the ground. One target had been eliminated easily and when the smoke would subside, the body that lied cold was Santaru Inuwashi. Of course, the patrons of the café had run for it and the shop owner was beyond pissed off at what Kyuji did. But after showing the entry to the man and allowing him to digest the situation, he understood and apologized to Kyuji.

Since Kyuji wasted so much time in the café with the owner, the other three had seemed to have gotten away until he walked a few feet and saw senbon raining down on him piercing his skin and having blood begin to drip from him. Of course, he wasn’t alone as the Inuzuka fellow would pop out from the shadows as advertised and stab Kyuji in the side with two daggers before the leader of the three would ran down a firestorm on the descendant who winced in the pain, but continued to shift his body to face the Inuzuka boy who decided to stab him with a smile on his face. Out of the corner of his eye, he would see more senbon flying towards him and he would throw the scholar at them piercing the man’s back as he coughed up blood. However, he would be eliminated quickly from Kyuji as he ran at him with his sword in his left hand and pierced right through the chest into the heart and out the other side causing the man to fall in pain and die instantly. Then with a show of respect, he would move the man from the middle of the street and close his eyes for him before grabbing the one egg that was on him and shattering it beside him. Two targets down, two to go.

He knew that the last two were going to be the most difficult as he reached the top of a building close to him and proceeded to chase after them with his sword in his hand. They would not make this easy for him as they would throw ninja tools, property and use their chakra to try to stop him from keeping up with them. In other words, it was a game of dodgeball with deadly side-effects if he didn’t evade the attacks that were devastating. Of course, some of the poachers’ attacks would hit him leaving bruises and opening new outlets for blood to spill, but he had to keep pushing on or they would continue this illegal business practice and put themselves and everyone else in danger when those sandworms were fully grown.

Then, there would be a break for him as they would stop running away and position themselves on a building and wait for him. It was either because they needed to catch their breath since their adrenaline may be running out or they were confident enough while being trailed to think up a strategy or were planning on utilizing it here. The descendant however was weary that they might have something up their sleeves as he landed on the top of the building and the two of them stared at him and he returned the gaze as his eyes shifted from their normal golden color to a royal purple. It was probably here that the two of them realized that they had messed up as Kyuji got into his stance and told them to bring it as they were going to end it here and now. Unsurprisingly, the two of them would begin with ranged attacks of fire and ice thrown at him but he merely walked right towards them as their attacks would land their marks making his clothes become scorched while his body would bleed more and be burnt. They would continue their attacks with Akagitsune never stopping his maintain on his jutsu as Kyuji’s body would continue to be burnt while Burūkādo’s attacks had to keep being made and then throw to be effectively. Realizing this, Kyuji would continue walking towards them and then make a sharp turn running towards the Haku and slashing his hands off in front of him as he fell down in pain as blood spilled on the rooftop. He wouldn’t be using chakra anytime soon with no hands and thus Kyuji turned his attention to the Uchiha and merely looked into the eyes of the boy freezing him in place out of fear. He would then turn his attention back to the Haku and execute the boy allowing the head to roll as it wanted. The egg in his possession would then be taken and smacked and this left the leader of their group alone and the only remaining one alive. Thankfully for him, Kyuji would make it quick.

With the slash of his blade, the remaining member of the Poacher group would fall dropping his collection of the sandworm eggs and seeing them crack on impact. The Bingo Book entry was finally complete, but he knew that he would probably be receiving an earful about his methods of eliminating his targets soon. After all, he seemed to show no remorse in their executions and being the only active Medical Chief, this could make people quite uneasy about seeing him due to his methods. He knew what he was doing was right for the village and his friends and family, but maybe others would not see it that way.

In any case, he truly didn’t care right now as it was time to go collect his reward for completing another entry and cleaning the Red Light District of its filth once again. There would be plenty more criminals that would meet their end through him, but they could rest easy as he wasn’t in any condition to go after them right now especially with being burnt and bleeding. Nope, he would need to first get himself cleaned at the infirmary and then he would get his payment for a job well done. It was even possible that he would take his daughter and son out for a little treat with the money that he would receive soon enough or maybe he would actually rekindle things with Lady Yanshi. Only time would tell!
