Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

((OoC: this idea was discussed here https://www.ninpocho.com/viewtopic.php?f=91&t=52965 and was given a thumbs up))

Arashi Hisame. This young boy was the son of a woman who hailed from the Village Hidden in the Mist who had the blood of the Haku. The father was a purebred Konohagakure Shinobi; the will of fire pulsing through his veins. The two were the epitome of the idea that opposites being attracted to one another. She was cold and shy while he was warm and outgoing, but they had a son. Each teaching him as much as they could the parents had a son who used ice based weaponry and blended their fighting styles. He knew everything they did, with the single exception if the scroll his mother gave him.

Hisame and this scroll had a complicated relationship. His mother said that this scroll would hold the secrets he would need to know to be able to live as a decendent of the Haku Clan. The problem was that he could not understand what was written. As if coded in a way that was unable to be deciphered the boy grew ever frustrated with it. Spending most of his time trying to translate it's secrets the boy was more dedicated than ever to at least learn some of the secrets. Regardless of his futile efforts today was another day of trying to understand it.

Leaving the Village to be able to read in peace Hisame found himself just outside of the border in a wooded area. Similar to the forests within his village the large deciduous trees were hundreds of feet tall and the branches where stronf enough to support many men. There he was, sitting on the branch of a tall oak tree with the first section opened of the scroll. The scroll stood at least three feet tall and probably help hundreds of feet of parchment, all holding the secrets of his mother's blood.

"..."

Frustrated the boy shifted his weight to kneel above the opened scroll which was laying on the might branch. His hands of the scroll, just outside of the ever changing script. His cold skin beaded ever so slightly with sweat caused by stress as he wasn't progressing as he thought he would. This frustration caused a natural flux of chakra throughout his body as it did with most students of the Ninja Arts. He needed to know. He needed to understand.

The sun slowly began to set, it had seemed the boy spent the entire day sitting in the branch of this old oak trying to read his mother's scroll. This wouldn't deter him. He has spent many a nights reading and studying this scroll, tonight apparently would be no different.

Luckily for the boy there wasn't a single cloud in the sky, and the lights of the village didn't overpower the stars. Shining down upon him was the full moon, as if trying to help him read. The nighttime breeze was soft and chilling, but that was something the boy loved. The creatures of the night slowly began to stir; the owls taking flight, the small mammals began to come from their burrow, and the chorus of nearby amphibians filled the air with their songs. Hisame smiled. He preferred the night. The chill that lived here and the silent attacks made him feel more welcome than the harshness of the day.
