On the Road Again (Entering country)

Osore steps off the ship, looking around for the transportation he knew would be there. A carriage pulls up, and he loads the casket onto it, waiting for the others to enter, especially their guest from Cloud, before doing so himself. The journey was a quick, quiet one for the most part as the waves bounced their ship, and Osore had taken the time to perform his own autopsy on the body during it. As they now sat in the carriage heading for the Isaki Manor he was staring at Okaname and contemplating what he'd found.

Kyojin sighed. The journey back home was quiet, easy and steady but the tension was quite thick. He made small talk with a few of his companions but it never lasted too long and the trip was quite quick. As soon as they landed in Moon Country, Kyojin allowed the rest to go back to the Isaki Manor. He was sure a funeral would be prepared and there was no reason for him to accompany them. He will pay his respects to Hoshikata on the day of the funeral, whenever it is.

Before Kyojin started his way to Moon's Twin Mountains to check on the mining progress, he gave Osore eight simple words. "If I am needed, send a message to Suta village."

With that said, the Namazu giant allowed his companions to go their way.

Chapter 9: Gates of Hell</B><B>Taveling​

Driving the cart off of the boat, her eyes never left the councilman. She kept her eye on the man the entire trip back to Moon Country, disliking men like him. Men like him is what's wrong with the world. Making decisions for people they aren't familiar with or understand. There was nothing she could do to this man due to the Isaki Clan promising the man's safety. Even though she isn't of the Isaki clan, she is bound by her duty to work with the Isaki Clan. Taking part in her own longing and her own desires would be detrimental against the Isaki Clan, to which she cannot allow.

Torn between personal desires and her current duty, the woman turned her head and looked forward. Pressure built within her; anger, frustration, and something akin to hatred continued to build up within her very being. Swallowing her pride and ignoring her own ego, the woman snaps the reins and urged the horses forward off of the boat. Upon hitting the wooden docks, Nanami turned to look towards Osore. "I hope your promise of the man's safety is guaranteed," she stated.

The very fact that this man is a politician and couldn't think like everyone else does when it comes to justice bothers her. Yes, the man thinks with the hive-mind of society, but he doesn't consider human emotion. She had doubts that the man would calmly allow an outside organization to deal with 'justice' if, in fact, the man's daughter were to die before him. Would he really sit back and watch it happen and allow the justice system to take effect or would the man do everything in his power to prevent it? Natural human reaction is to protect their own tribe, no matter the cost. That is the price of love. The cost that one would do for a loved one. This reminded her of 'Leader', the one responsible for her brain-washing while in SCAR. Not even taking revenge himself, but allowing the system to take revenge on what her father had done to his family.

Turning her head towards the councilman, she scowled at him. "You are hiding behind your 'justice' by suppressing human instinct. Don't think that the Isaki clan will take your political bullshit sitting down," she said to him before snapping the reins once more, driving the horse and carriage towards the Isaki household.

As the group had returned to the country, on a ship like twice before, though the first time was on a small boat and last time having not too long before. Both him and Shi stayed quiet though Naikishin was becoming increasingly more and more curious as to why Ko wasn't saying anything at all. Even during the entire trip again, she wouldn't make any sound, and it was during the quietest of times that she would start some sort of conversation, considering that she was never quiet for more than a few hours. As the ship hit land with Osore, Nanami, and the mysterious man had departed from the ship, both Shi and Naikishin would as well. The two would follow Osore as he was currently the leader of the group.
