Ninpocho Chronicles

Ninpocho Chronicles is a fantasy-ish setting storyline, set in an alternate universe World of Ninjas, where the Naruto and Boruto series take place. This means that none of the canon characters exists, or existed here.

Each ninja starts from the bottom and start their training as an Academy Student. From there they develop abilities akin to that of demigods as they grow in age and experience.

Along the way they gain new friends (or enemies), take on jobs and complete contracts and missions for their respective villages where their training and skill will be tested to their limits.

The sky is the limit as the blank page you see before you can be filled with countless of adventures with your character in the game.

This is Ninpocho Chronicles.

“Sorry boys, looks like my winning streak has only just begun.” Female pirate captain lays down a straight flush. In a bar a few men were losing their shirts in a game of poker and speaking of no shirts the woman was quite seductively dressed. With no bra and no shirt only a black jacket kept her forbidden fruit in place. As she bend over onto the table to collect her earnings she presented them with a lovely view. “How about another round on me boys?” The pirate was a generous winner and orders a round of ale each deal. Most of the men seemed drunk while she seems pretty sober.

“I believe it is my turn to deal.” She does some fancy shuffling but the men were distracted by the bouncing of her breasts for them to notice her rigging the deck. Pirates were not the honorable type, so it is no surprise that she was cheating the pants off the men that sat at the table. Slipping some key cards into her sleeve unnoticed was mere child’s play with this lot. Keeping the players drunk and distracting them with the occasional eye candy, they were none the wiser. “Wild cards are one eyed jacks and the suicide king.” She tosses cards to each player making sure she receives the perfect hand.

Her only concern is that one of the other patrons might catch on and spill the beans. That might lead into some trouble, which was what her pistol on her belt was for. She rather not use it but if things got ugly she may have no choose in the matter. Of course a woman of her talents could surely find a non-violent solution to almost any problem that might arise.

There was a certain narrative when it came to two bit swindlers, conning hard pressed individuals out of their finances. Even more so was when someone who was completely alert to what they were doing, doing so to a group of intoxicated men easily prone to deception. Such acts while usual accepted in the alleyways and bars of Crater City, usually never found itself smack in the heart of Konoha, meant to be the moral beacon of the re-established country. What was going on here was deplorable and the shinobi partaking in the festivities should rightfully have been ashamed of themselves.

Or at least that is how it should of been..

Yet caught in the group of men, with his arm draped over the shoulder of a local merchant was Oyochi. A mug in one hand and his cheeks slightly reddened from the effects of mild intoxication, was eagerly participating in the fiasco. Fully wearing his shinobi uniform, he would have undoubtedly stood out to the con artist as he was the only shinobi within the group. If she suspected that he was aware of what she was doing then she would be correct however between the slight glaze of his eyes, merry banter with the other men and the fact he couldn't resist eye googling her barely hidden chest assests...he easily couldn't have noticed at all.

As the cards were being dealt he did exchange a friendly wager with the man whom he'd been leaning on.

It seems Tomo has caught a shinobi in her little web which is not to unexpected considering the place she is hustling in. The thing that concerned her is that he showed signs of noticing her trick, but she doesn’t believe he knows her end game. She maybe be being paranoid, but such feelings have worked well in her favor this far. What the shinobi likely failed to notice is that she rigged not just her hand, but all of them. The shinobi got crap for cards, but the merchant he had his arms around had the second best hand. His was a full house kings high, while she had the remaining king in a royal flush.

She would have prefer to have let this game play out longer before initiating phase two of her plan, but somethings can be help. With a little sleight of hand her royal flush was not so royal anymore. “Okay how about we make things interesting.” She then gave each of the men a seductive grin as she goes for her true objective. “Let’s forget the cash this round. Whoever wins this round gets to spend a private session with me, sound good?” Most of the men seemed happy with that including her target. For her mission she need some alone time with the merchant, but it couldn’t hurt to get a little extra cash on the side.

Who knows maybe she’ll show him a good time before dragging him through hell and back. Tomo may be a cheater at cards, but he was a cheater on his spouse. The merchants had multiple affairs and now the wife want to teach the bastard a lesson. Tomo was more than happy to except the contract. Hell truly had no fury like a women scorned. Hopefully the other shinobi doesn't mess things up for her. He seems to be playing along for now, but that could change.

"Well shit I lost...bummer"

From habit to hide his underlining disappointment especially after slipping the man a few pieces of paper and calmly patting his back, Oyochi would slide a single cigarette between his lips. Out of respect for the inclosed space he was within it would remain lit however his gaze fell onto the woman. For a moment in time she would feel as if the two were the only one's in the room and her mind would undoubtedly question whether or not the seeming time freeze had happened altogether. This was because she would see or potentially see two separate patterns within his eyes. One being his natural serpent like pupils while the other was resemblence to a gemstone's cut look. Just as easy as this sensation had come it would also leave, time moving as if it had never froze in the first place.

"I suppose another round for the lucrative prize, whaddaya say fellas!"

He was deceptive, fully playing to his environment while equally dropping context hints that he was all but aware of her tricky methods. But who was he to spoil her charade though he found it distasteful considering the state of mind the other men were in. While he waited for the new round of cards, he'd think calmly to himself that he would have to have a more personal conversation with this woman in regards to several things.

For now however, the games would continue

As the man activates his unusual doujutsu he would notice the pirate wincing alit. Her cursed eye seems to be acting up in response to the other shinobi’s actions. From underneath the eye patch the jounin could sense a small demonic aura emanating. The sharp pain she felt was sudden but dull and saw no reason to end the game because of it. This man was going to be annoying, but she will not let her annoyance be known. With a fake smile she beams at the shinobi, “How sweet giving me a chance to reclaim my honor.” With a shaky hand she slides over the deck of cards to him as he is the next one to deal. The burning pain was growing stronger, she does her best to hide it. “However the man beside you clearly won. If he is willing the toss his prize into the pot, I will certainly go along with it.” She takes her mug and downs her drink in hopes that it will somehow lesson the pain, but like she knew already too well that such things did not affect the curses pain at all. That evil spirit, Fen'Harel they called him back in her home town, was a malicious wolf that fed on the souls of men. He had a more sinister punishment for her however. No she was not going to become food, but a servant as hungry for souls as he is. “This will be the last round. I’m not going to let my offer keep floating around.” This time she would play fair for she did not care for her mission right now. She just wanted to end the game and look at her eye.

It was sudden but the reaction she had was all that needed to happen to trigger Oyochi's adept senses. Although he did not show it, internally he was growing increasingly interested in the female, particularly around the aura which surrounded her that he had become in tuned with. He had an unusual combination of senses which while allowing him to see specters of the deceased equally gave him perception into spiritual ties of the body. While he did not pretend to know or have insight on her exact condition or what had been bound to her, he was aware of it mainly because he too was equally bound to a being far beyond the reach of physical touch. While he felt the general location of her imbued chain to the spiritual realm, if she had been capable of doing the same then in comparison to only her covered eye being the catalyst, his entire being would radiate.

"So that's it.."

His words were double edged, as the man beside him placed his previous winnings down for the betting, though his words were truly aimed at her. Placing his palm on the collection of cards, his fingers worked quickly to shuffle the deck with skills honed from handling shinobi tools and hand seal weaving. They were different yet alike, which drew him to want to know more about this female particularly because if she was tainted as he was then she was also potentially dangerous. In keeping his eye's solely locked upon her, he settled into the thoughts of his own cursed ability, that he was capable of completely binding other's will and absorbing their body and soul into his own. In the general sense he was cursed with the powers of a leech, able to take everything from others and incorporate them for his own survival and use. Ironically able to sense her taint because he had done just that before.

"Let's see what luck has in store.."

Luck was just an illusion here, as Oyochi had already dictated the sequence of cards to be given and to whom, something she may or may not have seen as he shuffled the deck. As the hands were dealt, she would find herself gifted with a royal flush of hearts. Though before she could set her cards out, Oyochi placed his own for others to see which was a royal flush of diamonds. His gaze to her only served to cement that this was on purpose and the two of them were far from done here.

The shinobi would find his answer far quicker than he would have expected for after he was done dealing she takes off her eye patch, thus revealing an interesting seal within her eye. Unlike her left eye her right eye was a bright yellow and was always such even without the curse acting up. It was a part of the curse she could not hide even with the ability to change her form. Though she never knew the reason it was yellow. With knowledge of other religions one might recognize the symbol now displayed in her eye for all to see. It was a flower with ten petals and a down pointed triangle in the center. This symbol is called Manipura, which is a chakra in Buddhism.
170px-Manipura_Mandala.svg.png
Physically, Manipura governs digestion, mentally it governs personal power, emotionally it governs expansiveness, and spiritually, all matters of growth. Perhaps this was one of the reasons she did not seem to get drunk despite the amount she drinks. However she wished these power did not come with such a price. Her eye was still feeling like a dagger was shoved into it. Seeing the royal flush the pirate folds without even looking at her cards. “Seems Lady Luck smiles upon you. I hope you like it wild.” Unfortunately it looks like she will have to reveal more of herself than she would like to if she wants to complete her mission. Much like how Tsuchimakado cast metal jutsu with talismans, she come from a village that uses magic circles. She is new to the shinobi world and knows nothing of handseals or jutsu. She gives a seductive smile and says, “Perhaps a consolation prize for the other two gentlemen." From the tip of her finger was the glow of chakra and as she spirals it around in the air she drew lines in the air. She draws a triquetra overlapping a circle.
Celtic-trinity.png
She scribes various kanji in the open spaces and then points to the center of the magic circle with her hand. What emerges from this magic circle was a pair of girls. They seem to be a ghosts of little girls no older than five. Their skin was as pale as one who has never seen the sun in her life and hair as white as freshly fallen snow. Their eyes were like pools of sapphire that seems to stare into one’s soul. On their forehead was a mark; a crescent moon in crimson red. Within their hand was an ornate mirror. It was circular in shape and was as big as their heads. A silver dragon frames the looking glasses. However the moment was quite short lived for they both instinctively transforms into a copies of their summoner immediately after being summoned. One could have easily missed it with an inopportune blink of an eye. “Don’t let their initial appearance fool you they are far older than they look and have plenty experience mimicking me… If you catch my drift.” Each clone had a seductive smile and liked their lips as the approach the two men who lost the game. It was not until one of her clones glance over to her direction that Tomo sees the curse seal. ‘So that is why my eye is bothering me so much,’ she thought to herself. It seems the curse placed upon her was getting stronger. That fact was a little troubling but she was careful not to show her worry. “So my lucky winner, what would you like to do with me?”

[Skipping Oyochi]

The fact that the curse was growing stronger was indeed troubling, but not to the point that she would become desperate. However if this curse continues to grow she will need to take measures before it is too late, but to simply get rid of the curse would be more than she is capable of. If she was that strong she would have done it already a long time ago. No she cannot simply remove the curse, not entirely. There was a spell she could use to cut the curses power in half, but it requires her to become something she is unsure if she is fit to be. It is a spell that required a few preparations. One that will split the demon chakra that fuels the curse into Yin and Yang. She could then seal one of these energies within another part of her body; say an unborn child. To be a mother would be a new role she has yet to become, but the faceless are all about looking through the world through many roles. Though she was not yet in dire need of the child, she will need it to be conceived before doing the spell.

“Hey barkeep!" Tomo waves at the man standing behind the counter. Once she gets his attention she throws a small coin-purses towards him. Though it was a good throw the man was not much of a catcher and ends up fumbling the purse before it hits the ground. “I’ll be taking a room for the night.” This particular tavern had rooms that they sale out to visitors, which is not unusual for taverns. This was where Tomo was going to torture the merchant, but looks like she’ll be entertaining a shinobi instead. Walking up to the counter, the barkeep gives her a key. Tomo glance over to the lucky winner with a wink. “You coming or what?”

There would be a lot to process in the timeframe which everything moved, something that he was not objected to though took in stride. There was something about this woman that still felt off to him, as if there was a more than meets the eye kind of deal behind the attractive visage which she openly wore and worked. It was not the obvious end to the night that had him breathing shallow but the potential consequences for enabling such an animalistic physical attraction to manifest and control his actions. He had always been a man who decided his own vices and controlled the tempo in his stride yet this woman here managed to offset his demeanor relatively easily. To say he was emotionally attached would surely be mistaken as it was her physical features and his masculine drive to engage in what she offered. Then there was a prospect of acceptance that linked the two beings, both holding onto abilities which were gifted maliciously by entities far beyond the physical plane of existence. Each touched by the hand of a different deity from obviously segregated spiritual backgrounds.

His thoughts would not be worn by his bodies reactions however as he followed the woman in detached silence, the recess of his mind all but buzzing with listing reasons not to continue this. In this world though logical assumptions occasionally would give in to greater forces of resolve which in this case had been a submerged longing of his own flesh. Whatever one wished to call it, he was feeling nothing more than pure sexual instinct which he had all but forgotten about in lue of his shinobi lifestyle. Sure enough once they were both in private where just the two of them could interact Oyochi could feel his nature truly slither it's way to the surface of his persona. Inhaling slowly, his breathing all but calmed down while he removed the flak vest and headband, equally sliding out of the mesh shirt underneath. Very few had seen Oyochi's torso which albeit was toned (as expected of a shinobi) had a unique pattern along his skin. Large areas of his back and chest was covered in skin that had patterns loosely similar to that of reptilian scales, specifically serpentine patterns. These patches would not feel any different from normal skin, though simply touching them would give someone with enough insight into the spiritual realm a completely different feeling than they would get from Oyochi himself.

"There is not much two can do in this situation, but there is a lot that can be done in the timeframe"

His demeanor flipped almost instinctively as his body fully accepted what was going to happen. Though different from the times in the past, the deep animalistic drive which the two operated on clearly would define the nights actions. In this situation, Oyochi was not one to be controlled as he was not only driven by his own emotions but also that of his twin who's own blood seemed to be riled up at the flesh offered up by the woman to conquer. He'd find his palm lightly grasping the base of her neck, his serpentine like gaze fully focused upon the sight of her own eyes. There was something to this woman and he would seek to find out exactly what in ways that only the darkness of night and the privacy behind a locked door could allow.

The guys seems to be getting into the mood rather quickly and she likes it, but first things first. “Hold on there, tiger. Now that we’re alone let me slip into something more comfortable and enjoy the show.” With those word she returns to her natural form. Instead of a pirate a new woman stands before him. She has lush red hair flowing down to her elbows. She ties her hair with a big black bow that matches her clothes. She wears an outfit of a severing girl with a collar around her neck. On the apron of her dress would be the logo to the shop she worked at. Her eyes are a little unusual for they are different colors; her left eye is blue while her right is yellow. However when the curse took hold of her she slowly begins to change. Her canines became more pronounced and she grew ears and tail of a wolf.

“The name is Hakuren by the way. I want you to cry my name when you well…” Hakuren decides to just being stripping. Unfortunately or fortunately her outfit has many articles of clothes to it. The first outermost item would be the apron. The apron covered her from her neck all the way down to her shins. The ribbons that tied the apron on went over the shoulders, cross the back in an X and around the waist two times. It was then tied in a big bow, which was easy to undo. She grabs the end of the bow in the back with a single motion the knot was undone. Hakuren peels off here untied apron like an onion. Out of habit she folds it and lays in neatly on nearby chair while trying to be seductive about it. She begins unbuttoning her long sleeved shirt slowly while licking her lips. Underneath her shirt she was sporting a lacy bra, which was not very fitting for her large endowment. Her breast look like they could break free from their prison at any moment. She takes it off and folds it; arms cross the chest and then folds it in half and half again going the other way. She then places the shirt on top of the apron. She then pulls down her dress that touched the ground even when she was wearing it and reveals her teddy bear panties Hakuren folds her dress and lays them with the other clothes. She kicks off her shoes, sits down on the bed to take off her socks that went all the way up to her knees and toss them aside. She unclips the back of her bra and place’s it with the other clothes same with the panties.

The night was still so young when Oyochi found his eyes slowly parting, opening and relieving him of his dream world existence to be awoken in the present. His gaze naturally tried to relinquish what light had found it's way into his eye's possession though to no avail, partially aided by a feeling of incompleteness which silently crept into his mental. For so many years he had never felt so alone than he did at this moment in time, despite having Hakuren's body occupying the same bed, as his growing loneliness was not physical but spiritual. A right palm which intitially he did not identify as his own pressed against his left breast, feeling the subtle thumping of his heart as if to reassure himself that what he was feeling was as real as the very symbol of life itself was. Warm air rushes along Oyochi's skin, his eyesight being attracted to the open balcony door of the room and for a moment he struggled to recount if either he or the young woman had done so. With caution his body moved away from the bed, quietly as not to waken Hakuren from her slumber and once free preceded to walk closer towards the door. The closer he came, the more whole his body seemed to feel which was all but explained as standing out on the balcony stood a semi-transparent man with his head turned up the stars above. Before Oyochi himself could engage in conversation the voice which he was to familiar with spoke in a gentle tone..

"Beautiful is it not brother, amazing how regardless of where you stand if the night's sky is as clear as glass the wonders of the universe lay before us to admire.."

His visage was one that mimic'd Oyochi's in every sense of the word with the exception of some small characteristics. Even as a spectral projection, the hue of his eyes were very much a vibrant crimson and while Oyochi had dark markings around his eyes there was none present upon the specter. Both palms rested within pockets along his pants as though he was semi-permeable within the middle grounds of reality, he truly existed as if whole. The crest of his lips curved as he turned to face his twin, his back pressed against the balcony rails as if to lean upon it for support while his eyes seemed to relish every moment just staring upon his twin. There was so much the two of them had gone through as one that he would be foolish to hold any sort of malicious grudge against Oyochi for actions which occurred long before a degree of sentience rested within his twin's body. Exhaling with collective calm, his smirk slowly faded to an uneasy frown while both eyes lowered their gaze.

"It will be the last time I am able to see such in this way, brother."

"You were never one for jokes"

Or atleast that is what he would have said in regards to his sibling's last statement had it not been for the personal bond they had shared for so long. There was a pitch to his voice that only manifested when they had discussed uneasy truths or developed lasting views on the world. His exhale would be mixed with expressions of fear and confusion, quickly rising to the notion that only two outcomes could be reached from the truth which was spoken. These were that either Oyochi himself was losing his ability to communicate and interact with his brother's ghost or that as a ghost his brother was finally moving on to be with the stars which shine so virtuously in the night. How exactly losing access to his brother would play out was an unknown to him though both Oyochi's heart and body knew it would become a truth before the end of their conversation. A lump would protrude from his throat as he swallowed his unease and stepped forwards to the railing, placing both hands upon it and releasing a sigh.

"Why now, after all this time as one would you be pulled from me..?"

There was a sadness in his voice which had never before found a place to roost, his tone low enough to rival a whisper. Their eyes would meet and remain locked in place, neither daring to blink as if to cherish every moment which they still had.

"It is her, she is the reas--or shall I say you both are responsible in your own rights. Though it is not a remorseful goodbye.."

It was strange to tell such a blatant lie to Oyochi with a face that read happiness and joy, as he felt nothing but remorse for what was about to happen. This was not because he was saddened for his predecament but entirely wrapped around the realization that as he knew him, Oyochi would never be viewed the same. Never again would he be able to communicate with his brother using the same voice and cherishing the same memories they had built over the years since Oyochi's birth. His head turned slightly, taking a momentary pause to gaze towards the room which the woman still lay slumbered in, his eyelids lowering over his eyes. There was no ability for him to cry, no physical body to produce the tears needed to truly showcase the sorrow which increasingly invaded every emotion that he had been capable of feeling. Yet still there was a part of him that vigoriously fought to maintain itself even against the onslaught of despair. This feeling was nothing more than his inner hope, hope that was focused towards the unforeseen future.

"...Do not worry to much, a part of me will one day be able to look at you in a way even I, as we stand here now would never be able to."

Sections of his form at that moment started to break up into flakes, which rose slowly into the air to dissapate.
